First of all, do not bring your child here.
I should have believed one comment about her hild not being able to drink water. i brought water and food for my son, the first time, I notice he wasnt even able to touch the water. After a week of going here, he started having cough. So i insist to the teacher even reminding the teacher herself to please give my son water because it will help his cough to go away. I even put a note on his lunch box and water jug to give my son water but sadly, the teacher must be blind or does not know how to read.
Another week passed, my son became ill he has to be absent for the whole week. He becomes sick again after he got better. That i have to see his doctor and he had to have antibiotics for 2 weeks.
He soes not seems to learn anything since all they do is play and one time I picked him up, he was just in the corner sad while the teacher sits in the middle just looking at the kids — so she probably is not a teacher but a security guard??? plus whenever i picked him up his hands are super dirty i started to think since he sometimes sucked his finger before nap, if they dont wash his hands, maybe thats why he is getting sick.
When I had to pull him out, the principal/​owner, which is a Filipino by the way, from the same country as I have been and I am really disappointed, she does not fully understand what I complained about especially about the sanitary and the way teachers are to the children here. The children here does not learn anything and it is like you are only putting your child here because noone will watch them. Which is sad because it is really expensive and it doesnt make sense!
I decided to pull my kid out, put my money on a swimming lesson, and teach him at home. Now we are on a school hunt again, not bring back my kid and hopefully the next school wont be the same as this poser school.
One star rate is given for the playground outside.
But dont be fooled. It may look nice and clean, but nope, it is all just on the outside.

Pulled my kid out a couple weeks ago.
In montebello, we don’t have many options when it comes to daycare. I was desperate for a babysitter or school and I found this one. Its clean, it’s alright when you walk in. My son was only here for about two months or so.
As you may know, they do not provide food and for $ 180 a week for 3 days only, that’s pretty bad. I used to take my other son to a school on ktown called Newton academy. Unfortunately, Newton only accepts kids 3+
But they Do provide food, which is delicious by the way. And most importantly, they provide a great education which is not so pricey. Kiddy time daycare does not measure up to any standards. they are super expensive and not really providing anything for the children. My kid is 1 ½ so I was skeptical. Every single day, I took him at different times. Just to see what things they we’re doing in class without me having to ask. No lie, every time I walked in, the kids we’re either sitting down on the same table to insert them into or they we’re just running around freely inside the class. Not once did I walk in to the teacher doing something together with them,; during feeding times, teachers just feed and sit there. No sweet talk or convos wiyht the children, at times of outside play, they were Not PLAYING.
FOR SUMMER, they asked us to pay a fee of $ 45 for the activities, which honestly, I never saw my son be a part of. Every Friday they had water play and every Friday, my sons class wasn’t part of it. So why did I pay? When the Jumper day came, the teacher didn’t take my kids class, yet they still charged us!
Needless to say, it was horrible. So horrible I quit my job and decided to just be at home with my son.
When I told the director or accountant (the Asian lady) that I will not be taking my child anymore. She said I still had to pay for that week and the upcoming one. Literally, interrupting me and giving me the worst most obnoxious attitude. Of course, I didn’t let myself. I wrote them a letter explaining all of this and I did not pay. If there’s no deposit to be given back, there’s no reason to stay. Especially when you are not comfortable as a mother leaving your child in a class room where your instinct is telling you
” They’re ignoring your kid. They’re not sweet to them, they don’t even talk to them. Take your kid out!“
Yup, this is the vibe I got every day.
Oh and the teachers were different OFTEN and without notice.
My point: find somewhere else. Don’t take your kids here. All they care about is $$$. Not the children

This is a wonderful daycare. My 3 year old son currently attends here and he loves it. The center is always clean and kept. I especially love the fact that the front door is always locked and every parent needs to enter the code before it opens. Many of the teachers have been there for literally years, since my oldest son attended here 3 years ago and are still there. I have never had any problems with any of the teachers and they have always treated my boys great and I have never seen them treat any other children bad other than with love and patience. This is coming from a parent that is very loud and protective of her children and does not hesitate to speak up for the well being of any child had it been otherwise.
My 3 year old son currently attends here and he loves it. He has learned so much and gained so much confidence making friends and gaining social skills. Educationally he has learned a lot as well from colors to new words everyday.
Now for the cons:
Please note they do not provide lunch, but this can be a pro as well.
They charge 180 a week for my 3 year old full time. This is why they didnt get 3 stars.
They do charge even if your child is out sick lets say that week and dont credit for missed days.
Parking can sometimes be crazy on Fridays.
Other than the above mentioned, I do highly recommend this daycare!

My daughter attended this child care center for about a month and it was horrible.
For starters miss Mary and her staff are very rude, miss Mary especially. I would constantly hear her talking bad about parents, made you wonder what she said about you when you were gone. Just so fake.
My daughter would get sick every week. They don’t offer meals, and the meals I did provide for her seemed as if they had gone untouched all day but the heart breaking part was when I picked her up one hot day and they were playing outside before I left I got her zippy cup and it was full of the juice I had provided for her and when she saw it she drank it so fast she spilled it all over herself.
On another occasion I picked her up at an irregular time and she was crying on her own and the one teacher they did have there was clearly overwhelmed having about 15 kids on her own. I even saw her telling kids to keep away from my daughter as she was crying instead of trying to figure out what was wrong. This was the class for younger kids under 2.
I have my daughter in another daycare now and she doesn’t cry when I drop her off and even wants to stay longer when I pick her up and has not gotten sick once.
Im not trying to talk bad about a business but this experience was heartbreaking, I’m just trying to warn parents about this place because I wish I would have been warned.

My son has been attending Kiddy Time for over three years now and I couldn’t be happier with the program. Ms. Mary is the director and she is always there to give you an update on your child and listen to any concerns you have even if they are happening at home. The teachers all know all the kids which is really helpful and it is clear that they love spending their day with the kids.
My son has learned a lot already including how to spell his name and a few other words, potty trained and creative art projects. Pricing is very reasonable. Lunch is not provided but that is something I actually like so that I have more control of my son’s meals. Each classroom has a little chart with if a child has an allergy and their picture next to it just in case another teacher is filling in that day.
My son stops at each teacher before we leave to say bye and they all take the time to actually tell him bye for the day which I appreciate.

My 3 year old is in the «twaddler» program. I am impressed by Kiddie Tyme’s «curriculum» consisting of daily art programs, number tracing and book reading. The teacher, Ms. Veronica, appears to be capable and attentive. Student evaluations are sent home daily, along with art and educational projects. Prices are within the higher end of the reasonable range, although below what comparable programs in Pasadena charge. Uniforms are not required.
Kiddie Tyme does not have a lunch program; however, staff does warm student lunches. It is located in a mall, which provides easy access, but the trade off is the lack of a grassy/​tree lined entrance.

I called the school, the Director Mary was rude! I asked for info regarding my 2yr old, she said I have to come in. I said Im sorry i have no time, she said (rudely)well Im gonna have to place you on hold, and she did! She hung up on me! I called back & told her that she hung up on me, she was not appologetic. She then placed me on hold again! She was not informative at all, she told me the high price of $ 170 without any details. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! She just lost out a customer. The owners need to really consider another director to bring customers in, Mary needs to retire.
