Small Mom & Pop operation in what seems to be a former fast food burger place. Menu offers a good variety of Vietnamese comfort food dishes such as phở, bun and bahn mi. In addition, they offer vegetarian options as well as. Out of curiosity, I opted for the Phở Vegetarian. Vegetables were stir fried before placed in a large noodle bowi with the rice noodles and drenched in a well seasoned vegetable broth. I thought it was very good. And it was only $ 8 for the regular sized bowl, or $ 9 for the large bowl.

really loved the food here, I ordered A5, delicious broth. Brisket was cooked perfectly, and the rice noodles were chewy, not soggy at all. The food came out very fast, super efficient staff. Even though it is out of my way, I came here with my bf after shopping at the citadel outlet, even though it’s a hole in the wall place, but the food quality is amazing. will definitely come back and explore the menu more!

This place was a great little find for my team and I! Stumbled upon it looking for food after our track meet. It was affordable, quality, and great service. Smoothie was a little on the icy side, and they didn’t have any of the specials listed on the wall. Overall, get there, they even have a drive thru!

Great new addition to this side of town. Service is fast and owners are friendly. I only and always have the Phở Chicken(A8). It has become my go to spot. Very comforting food for any time of the day or week. And it’s inexpensive too, $ 7.58 for a regular bowl. It is a great place for take out. They include everything you will need. The packing may be excessive but it’s packaged just right.

I wondered if they gave refills but of course not lol i asked and since they saw im expecting, i got a second cup for free! :) By the way, portions were big and very fulfilling How sweet! Service was fast, food was delicious and staff was awesome! Definitely going back everytime i want vietnamese food!

Wa craving phở so my husband ordered this to go. It’s okay but nothing spectacular. My go to spot is in Whittier and because I love food so much, I’ll take the extra drive just to have better phở. However, there are is major lack of food in Montebello. So I am glad the city now has phở. The shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce were yummy. The phở was okay(not fantastic but not bad). I had the vegetable phở and the broth was bland. However, I believe I mistakenly received vegetarian broth. So, I will try this place again and do another review.

The owner is very nice and polite and the food is great! I get the A3 with a Vietnamese coffee. My group of friends and I were happy to find such a good phở place finally in Montebello. We don’t have to drive out of the city to find a great bowl of Phở.

This place is a joke, first of all 4 dollars for 2 spring rolls is very high for the area, the spring roll itself was very basic and very not special, orderd also the tuna sandwich, so basic and such a poor execution. Also wanted the tomato celery drink, omg I was so wrong ordering it, the guy gave me a sweet celery smootie, Wtf??? It was green and had lots of ice inside and also sweet, I was sure he was joking, I nedded to take him to the picture and put the drink next to it, just a joke. Also every time I ordered something he asked me that’s all? Literally 3 times every time, also any thing I ordered he acted so surprised I took… Would not recommend, would give 0 star. Worst 15 dollars ever spent.

I remember this place used to be a Roberto’s back in the day, saw this new restaurant and decided to try it out. The owners here seem very friendly and the food was good. Only thing i’ve gotten here is the phở, and can say its pretty good. They keep this place pretty clean and they are very fast with your orders. Plus they have a drive-thru which is pretty cool. Will definitely be back when im the area.

I just came across this spot today and I know I’ll be coming soon again. Tried the Cooked Beef, chicken, and shrimp phở and they didn’t disappoint. Employees are nice and the place is descent(both indoor and outdoor tables). Just what I needed on a cloudy day.

Went in during lunch today and it was pretty busy so I ordered my phở to go. The wait was pretty long I was a little upset because people were getting their orders before me so I let them know. They were very unorganized, but I do have to say My phở was delicious. I will probably stop by again since their is no other phở spots around, but next time I will definitely call in my order ahead of time.

Walked right in and was greeted immediately. The inside was very clean to my surprise. Considering the restaurant before albertos, I believe, was so dirty. I ordered the chicken fried rice and got my order very fast. The chicken fried rice definitely met my expectations. The rice was cooked right, the chicken I wish was a little more moist but it was still good. Overall, the flavor was«on point» I am now very excited to try the rest of the menu. And the best part, it is walking distance from my house.

Looking for Phở’ look no further than Montebello Restaurant although the name eludes to more of American cuisine, don’t be fooled, this place is just as good as driving to midtown or ktown area for Vietnamese food. I had the large Phở Ga’(chicken in a rich chicken broth along with noodle and the usual condiments) my other half had Menu item A1 Rare Beef Phở’ being Asian he commented quickly that this was good. Which is rare as he is very cautious to comment and has a fine palate for food. For appetizer we both had fried and fresh spring rolls. They were yummy. For drinks we both got the Thai boba Tea! Yum yum. I love anything with boba! So if you are looking for Phở’ no need to drive past DTLA. This is the place! Found my new place close by for Phở’

Finding a good Vietnamese restaurant serving Bánh Mí sandwiches and Phở depending what city you have travel the distance for good Phó in city of Montebello. Yes Montebello this city is populated by Mexican and other Latino restaurant and few Asian restaurants like Thai, Chinese and Japanese restaurants. This the first Vietnamese restaurant snack down in a heavy populate Latino community but some the restaurant is very popular with everybody. This our first time at the restaurant but wow it’s pack on this cold night I see many people are getting the Phở keep themselves warm for night. I decided to order the Chicken Phó and my wife got a Banh Mí sandwiches. The Chicken Phó was amazing good the broth clean taste with a smooth flavor that my taste buds were amazing that this broth. The chicken was really good and very delicious my wife and I enjoy the Phó. My wife enjoy her Bank Mí sandwiche. We also order some egg rolls they very good. The service was really nice and also polite. My wife and I need to to the restaurant more often.

I tried the F6 and the wonton soup. Good flavors and decent prices. Ive also tried theyre PHO, this was my first time trying it, its ok i just wish they had a spicy version of it. Wife tried other plates and has liked everything she has tried so far. She also had the vietnamese coffee, its almost like a milk tea boba drink but withought the boba and it has a strong coffee taste. It was good. I like the food so i will be coming back.

I’m so happy there is a legit phở/vietnamese restaurant around here that taste great at a good price. I got the grilled beef rice plate. Meat is well seasoned and the dressing on the salad is yummy, a kind of garlicky tangy flavor! The workers are super friendly. I work around the area and this will definitely be my go to place when I don’t bring my lunch. Lord knows that the phở place in citadel cannot get it right.
