Quiet Cannon Conference & Event Center

Just recently had my wedding there this past Memorial weekend. Many of my guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how the dinner tasted great. Honestly, for the price you pay, the venue is beautiful and the service is great.
Like the other reviews state, I initially had Marina assist me and could see it was not working out well. I asked to be switched to someone else and ended up with Roselyn. She was very helpful, answered all my questions in a timely manner and was very sweet about me micromanaging a little bit. I would absolutely recommend the venue space to other couples out there. I know I can’t speak for everyone on staff but Roselyn and the kitchen staff were all very friendly and helpful!
They are not wedding coordinators so they cannot assist specifically with day of planning and execution, but they do their best to make sure you know what is available for you and what staff they have to accommodate your needs. I did my own wedding coordination, and it was fine with the help of organized friends and family.

Just an fyi, they only provide 1 speaker and mic for the ceremony, however, I can see it being a problem if your wedding guest count is over 100. You may need to bring in your own 2^nd speaker.

Went there for a party. Service was poor. Servers had bad attitudes. Friend found a rubber band in their vegetables and a piece of plastic in their ice cream. Chew carefully there! I only gave one star for the décor.

My mom Pastor Gladys chose to make this beautiful facility her home to the Annual Mothers Day Breakfast. Quiet Cannon for 5 yrs have been awesome with good staff, helpful teams and delicious food. My mom is a handful and thinks customer service and five star service is a must so it says a lot that she continues to use this venue.
This is the first year we’ve done it on the first weekend in May and I can tell you there’s another event here which had over 1000 people so parking was scarce. this review is based on an average over five years.
I don’t have pics of food because I was busy working the room in order to help out and host but the bacon is perfect they always have, plenty eggs are a little soft for my liking but again the fruit and meats also pastries are delish!
I could totally get married here the grounds are gorge.

If I would have known all the trouble I was gonna have being here I would have never booked!
First of all we had «marina» as our so called «coordinator» she literally made my experience as a bride the most stressful as hell.
She has the worse communication skills,
She’s rude, she didn’t help me and my fiancé do anything. Idk how many times my bridal party had to fight with her to get any help.
She doesn’t write down any sort of details about your event, be prepared to write down everything yourself because on the day of your event you have to tell her everything AGAIN AND AGAIN!
And since it started sprinkling on our wedding day she made me move my ceremony to my reception where her staff literally didn’t help for shit!
She was mad that I wanted to keep my ceremony in the area I paid for because it was more work for her to have someone bring out umbrellas and clean the chairs! She literally doesn’t have any answers to your questions either.
she promised me all these things the day I signed contract with her,
She told me I would get an hour free at the bar, but then the week of she stated she never said that and she gave us free «punch» instead for my guest.
She promised me a bridal room on the day of the wedding, but since SHE forgot to write down my event, she double booked and gave it to someone else! So I was in a dingy conference room.
She’s basically there to ruin your event
Seriously don’t ever book here.
The staff is even rude.
During the event they give u attitude and when you ask them for something they seem to get bothered that you even ask them questions.
One of my guest complained about there chicken still being pink and the waiter argued back with him and refused to give him another.
And don’t even get me started with all there stupid time frames they have!
If you are planning a wedding,
I HIGHLY CONSIDER TAKING THIS POST INTO CONSIDERATION OR ELSE YOU WILL REGRET IT THE DAY OF THE WEDDING!
*HIRE A REAL COORDINATOR BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE MAKE YOU DO LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOURSELF!*
The only good thing about my wedding day was all the family and friends who came out to support us. Other than that, if I could give this place 0 stars I would.

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before deciding to have my wedding at this place. It’s funny to come on here and see a lot of people complain about Marina because they’re all right in saying that she is an absolutely horrible event coordinator. Planning a wedding is stressful as it is, working with her just made it all the more worse. Days before our wedding rehearsal she didn’t even know when it was after we had told her 3 times when it was going to be. She never inputs anything in the system. We had a waiting room for my wife to be in before the ceremony started so no one could see her and Marina forgot to input that in the system so it ended up getting booked. The day of the wedding she called us and told us that the people who were having a meeting in our reception hall cancelled so we were able to go set up our reception at whatever time we pleased. When we show up she said there was a miscommunication and we couldn’t set up until 1pm which is when the group before us would finish. So we wait there and just get situated in the hotel next door. We go back at 1 and tell her were ready to start taking the stuff up to our reception hall and she said we can’t go set up until 3 because of another miscommunication. Seriously? Not to mention she speaks to us so rudely. I honestly do not know how this woman has not been fired yet. She doesn’t seem to care about helping us or making us feel relaxed and comfortable on a day that is special to us. As a customer who paid a lot of money to have our wedding here, the workers should be going out of their way to make us feel as comfortable and unstressed as possible but it was the complete opposite. All the workers, especially Marina, made us feel very rushed and all gave us attitudes. The venue is beautiful, everyone loved the wedding overall, but it sucked to hear from a lot of my guests that the servers were rude. My brother in law made a complaint that his chicken was pink and asked for another one, in a kind manner, the server got his plate, used his fork to open up the chicken and move it around, and told him it looked ok to her. Seriously? If he’s complaining that it doesn’t look good to him and he won’t eat it, get him another plate.
If you’re planning on having anything here, anything that is of importance to you, I HIGHLY recommend that you do not go through Marina. I don’t know how the other event coordinators are, but it honestly, hopefully, cannot get worse than her.

I recently had my wedding here. The prices were very reasonable when compared to other venues both in the area and closer to our home. The amount we paid our guest were satisfied with the venue and especially the food! There was a few hickups on our special day such as our room couldn’t fit more then 10 tables and we needed one more because I wasn’t accounting for high chairs (my fault).With our package we also got a free night stay at the Hilton in a king suite that is immediately next door. Our experience with the venue was great and I will more then likely being using the venue again for future events.

My son Juan Siler and his bride Susana would not have had such a wonderful day had you 2 ladies worked with us and did everything within your power to make it happen! Kodos!

I got married at the Quiet Cannon September 18 and My experience at the Quiet Cannon was great! Marina Ayala in catering sales is who helped us with all of our preparations! She treated us very well! Whenever we had a question, I would call or email her and she would answer right away. On the day of the wedding, everything looked so beautiful from the tables and the set up. The waitresses and waiters who served our food were the nicest staff! I was very happy with them also. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing! Thank you Quiet Cannon for the best experience!

Every event I have ever been there for has been great. The parking is plentiful and it’s a great facility. Great views of the golf course as well.

I accompanied my niece to view this venue for possibly having her wedding at this location. When we arrived for our scheduled appointment the sales center had a very noticeable odor and the office looked very unorganized. The sales representative who was with a potential client, never excused herself to acknowledge us and let us know she would be us momentarily. Needless to say, we left. This venue is a waste of time.

Horrible service! I tried going back to leave a deposit for the wedding but Marina never answered my calls or emails. I don’t know if she didn’t take me serious because I’m young but they just lost a customer!

Coming here for the first time celebrating early Christmas with my colleagues and the company I work for, I came home with a slight stomachache after a few hours eating their dinner buffet. I am quite sure it was something that I ate (most likely it is the fish).
The music was just okay too. The selection of songs the DJ was playing seem so boring.
As much as this place is nice and modern, I can’t picture myself having a wedding here if I get my own guest sick and the entertainment is pretty lousy.

Been to Quiet Cannon for concerts and the night club, but its been years. Recently came here for an ALL STAR boxing event and it was great! The fights were action packed. They had a DJ, Full Bar, and Catered Food. It was a fun crowd, a mixture of fighters, older folks, friends, families and kids. Lots of people from boxing clubs out to support their fighter. Its a small venue, so every seat is great. Unlike the Staples Center, where you cant see anything except for on the Big Screen. I was close enough to feel the punches and could see their sweat. The boxing events are every few months and not posted on Quiet Cannon’s website so to find out about the next event check out All Star Boxing’s Facebook Page. They post new events on their Facebook page.

Their food was ok. My only complained was the bartender. Our party was in the Camino room. OMG! He doesnt know how to do blue martine. He even told me. «I never heard of blue martini». I told him how to do it and he poured my drink in a wine glass. How annoying. My sister in law told me that he doesnt even know how to do piña colada or even a simple martini.
When they served the food. The servers are all over the place. They serve the main course but didnt put enough water in our table. We even need to ask them couple of times.
The location is great but they need to retrain their staff.

The actual wedding venue/​ceremony area was great! It was newly renovated just in time for my wedding in Octobor. However, they have the WORST customer service!!! No one is anywhere to be found to help the day of the wedding. Renting the venue, in the brochure is $ 600 on a Saturday afternoon, with 2 gallons of lemonade and tea, after tax and gratuity, I paid $ 1500!!!
It so happened to be the HOTTEST day, as the bride, I was in desperate need of ice water. I asked the bartender 3 times, nothing. I asked the Marina– the «wedding coordinator» nothing. I asked the bar back, nothing. 45 minutes later, there is a pitcher.
Marina is so rude and short. I cant believe she still has a job. They promised me 8 umbrellas. the wedding started at 2:30, at 3 o’clock we were still looking for someone to deliver the umbrellas.
TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE!

I was here for a youth program lunch time banquet. The room size was great and the look is modern. Other than that, it’s your usual banquet room type set-​up. We were served the chicken with some cream/​lemon/​mushroom sauce, rice and vegetables. The chicken was ok, just a tiny bit dry. The sauce was good, with a slight lemon taste and the veggies were perfect and crunchy!

Serious meh. I had 3 nights of banquets in a row and this food was probably the worst. I had a salad that was on its way out, the roast beef entrée which was SO much food but such low quality. The meat was really really dry. Got a chocolate cake for dessert which was also dry. Think the location is nice, and views are ok (of the golf course) but food and service was meh.
The bar also closes really early at 6:40. Wouldn’t come back here by choice.

I did not know that this kind of place exists in the City of Montebello. We had our Casino-​inspired Christmas party at the VIP hall and we were all blessed with unlimited wines. Food was average. Coffee was great.
Good bar. DJ booth was awesome. Clean ladies room. Personable servers.

If there were a ZERO STAR option, I would have chosen that instead.
I was interested in attending a Sunday brunch being held at Quiet Cannon. The event was advertised on their jumbo mega sized billboard which is visible off of the 60 freeway.
Naturally, I called to inquire about the brunch (pricing, reservations) and was directed to the Catering Office. This haggy, barely English speaking woman answers my call. Off the bat, I can tell she was not a very happy person with zero customer service skills. So I ask a couple of standard questions, and all I get in return are short answers, as if she is doing me a favor by even answering my call! She proceeds to let me know that I have to buy tickets for this event in advance, and that they were ONLY available for purchase at the Quiet Cannon catering office.
Despite the awful experience over the phone, the following day I went to the Catering Office to buy tickets for this Sunday brunch, which was to feature a local band who I really wanted to see. I walk into the office, and the haggy lady who I spoke to the day before, her name is MARINA, was sitting there at her desk, not doing much except probably contemplating how her life went wrong. I let her know that I was there to buy tickets for the Wise Guys Sunday brunch, and start to pull out my credit card. She flatly says «We’re only taking cash, there’s an ATM right outside that door»…UGH, SO ANNOYING! Could she not have told me that the day before when I called to inquire? I angrily walk to the ATM (knowing I will have to pay a fee), withdraw the cash and pay for the tickets. Tickets in hand, I walk straight out with out saying a word.
The Sunday of the brunch, we walk into the banquet room. The girl who checks us in is very pleasant. She lets me know that I could have avoided this whole MARINA THE WICKED WITCH fiasco by buying tickets online! UGH, now I’m doubly annoyed that I wasn’t told about this option.
Overall the food at the buffet was just so-​so. The entertainment provided by the Wise Guys however was phenomenal.
A word to the wise, think twice about booking an event here if you have to deal with MARINA.
Sorry, I am just a tad bitter about this. The thing I hate most are people in customer service rolls, who obviously have no business doing so.

My friend recently has his wedding ceremony here at Quiet Cannon and let me just say that it could have been really nice, however workers were very disrespectful, they were yelling at each other for almost 10 minutes. It also did not help that the bar at the club had outdoor seating with buzzed men joking around telling jokes and what they did the night before… ha-​ha — it was funny at some point.
My biggest concern was that not one rep was present to do a complaint.
Wow!!! and the noise from other parties around was also annoying.
Signs posted to direct guest to right party are only visible if you are walking by, you will have to get out of your car or drive by really close to get a good view (make font bigger).
I would NOT recommend this location for a wedding.
