Shepard Dental at Montecito Dental Group

On November 24^th, 2014 just before a family reunion in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Dr. Shepard performed an extraction of my upper right molar. I am 38 now, and chose to wait and keep my God-​given teeth as long as possible. Since a filling on my upper right molar had come out, I requested an appointment to see Dr. Shepard. I have been receiving 5 Star Dental Care from Montecito Dental Group beginning with Dr. Downen in the early 1980’s. Prior to Dr. Downen was another dental professional whose name I cannot remember.
Dr. Shepard provided me with clear, concise, professional attention and allowed me to make the choice on how to treat this upper right Molar. His confidence, skill, and attitude made me feel at ease and I asked him to extract the Molar.
It took him a few minutes to loosen the tooth and to extract it without harming my jaw,
neck or impacting other teeth (which I appreciate greatly!). The procedure was performed painlessly and quickly thanks to Dr. Shepard and his team at Montecito Dental Group.

I have had cleanings and minor treatments but my husband has had some extensive work done. He explained the procedures thoroughly and they were pretty quick and painless. The office is also very attentive and nice.
