Oh hell nah. I’ve been to countless dim sum restaurants in my lifetime and customer service isn’t a huge priority, but this place is the worst. I’ve never seen such rudeness and I am Cantonese so I understood everything. My uncle asked one of the cart ladies if they have curry fish balls. In most places, the cart ladies will let you know what else is on the floor even if they’re not carrying it. This lady goes, «this is a restaurant. Of course, we have it.» … WTF There are a crapload of dim sum joints in this area. Skip this and bring your patronage elsewhere. The food tastes meh. The best thing we tried was the BBQ pork pastry.

Service: Ok. We always have to ask for iced water twice to get it, but we always get tea the first time. You do have to flag the servers down for a lot of things. Food: Fantastic! This is my favorite dim sum place of all time. Yes, there are carts pushed around! I don’t even need to rate the food by dish because everything I get here is amazing. I like pork blood(few places have this) as that’s my #1 favorite. Radish cake is good, the egg custard bun is great, the pan fried dumplings and bbq pork bun are amazing, and so on. There just isn’t anything here I don’t like that I choose to get. Dim sum goes until 1:00PM. Each dish is about $ 3(some they charge two stamps so $ 6, but there aren’t a lot of those dishes) flat rate. Wait time varies but if it’s two people, we almost always get seated immediately. Only on a couple special occasions did we wait up to an hour. Parking is in the structure below with two entrances; prepare to circle around a few times. You may get lucky if it isn’t crazy busy. Restaurant on floor 2 up the elevator.

So… I LOVEDIMSUM. I can eat it all day everyday. Shout out to the nice waiter who always recognizes me! Food: I always get shiu mai, har gow, cha siu and beef churn fan, cha siu bao, pork black bean spare ribs, and other random dishes. I will admit that the quality of their dimsum is not anything special. There were a few occasions when the cha siu was too sweet and I even bit into sugar pieces: O However, their churn fun is always on point as well as their pork black bean spare ribs(It comes with rolled up rice cakes YUM) To make it even more worthwhile, the dimsum here is super affordable. The plates are around $ 2.08(weekday) and $ 2.58(weekend) which is dirt cheap compared to other places. Roughly around 8 – 10 dishes cost me less than $ 25. Be warned, there is a long wait during the weekend. I came here around 12PM on a Saturday and waited about 25 – 30 minutes. BUT trust me its worth it. Overall, great place to get your dimsum fix :)

I brave myself every single time I come here. The hectic crowdedness is intense :’( But then again, the food is pretty worth it, so I brave the loud, crazily busy restaurant like any normal food-loving soul! I’m not Chinese, so I’m not going to attest to how authentic the quality of the food is, but I think I can say that my tastebuds were pretty pleased! I don’t know the names of the things I ate, which was somewhat problematic when I was trying to order my food. I just took screenshots of photos from Unilocal and pointed to it whenever the cart ladies would come by. THANKYOUTECHNOLOGY. The dim sum that I ate were very good, but I think most people don’t hear about how wonderful their Peking Duck is! I think it’s definitely an underrated dish that gets forgotten. It is a bit pricey — $ 30 for the whole duck — but I think if you go in a group, it might be worth it to order one and share! Also. Yes — the pineapple buns were amazing. Don’t leave without having tried one(or two)!

Every time I come back here, I feel like the quality gets worse and worse. The first time I was here, I loved it. They have a great variety of dim sum items to choose from, although there weren’t any unique items that you couldn’t find somewhere else. During the last time I visited, I was utterly disappointed at the quality of the food and the service that I received. The buns that I ordered were either soggy on the bottom or tasted stale. I also noticed that the servers were busy chatting away rather than going around the room. At one point two carts blocked the path of another cart, but the two chatting servers continued to chat without making an effort to let the third server pass. Lastly, the thing that disgusted me the most was that one of the servers took off her shoe to show it to another server. She picked it up with the same hand that she used to serve buns, buns that were on a small plate with so little remaining surface area that she could have easily touched one with her contaminated hands. That being said, this could have just been a bad day because I have experience better quality and service from this restaurant.

Decent dim sum place. GREAT space for banquets. Parking structure available which is priceless in this part of Alhambra. This restaurant is part of an outdoor shopping center. You might want to set aside some time to walk around a bit. Nothing extraordinary, but it is a treat to be able to park in one spot here and be able to visit different businesses.

Took advantage of the $ 9.99 lobster(you get 2) and ordered 5 other dishes as well. Went on Wednesday right before New Years eve. Parking in the garage was a mess, go early or you’ll be hunting for a space along with 15 other cars. Restaurant was crowded but not packed. We have been here for dim sum but not dinner. Décor is still quite nice but the place is starting to show the wear and tear that comes with having thousands of people pass thru each week. The waiter who took our order was terse, but this is a Chinese restaurant, so no surprises there. Lobster — as fresh as can be expected, a little gloopy on the sauce, but portion was generous and well presented. Fried oysters — huge portion, about 15 – 16 oysters on the plate. Not huge, but oysters were fresh and well fried(not too greasy) Filet of beef with onions and peppers — a little salty but the beef was tender. they did not skimp on the beef. A nice dish I can’t remember the details on the other 3 dishes. One of the waitresses(Ling Ling I think) was very nice and friendly and bid us a warm farewell as we left. …a nice ending to a nice dinner

Awesome place! My family and I typically come here for dinner for special occasions. This is tucked in the Atlantic plaza at the corner by 24 hour fitness and Tokyo wako. Very typical Chinese place, but what I appreciated about them is the fact that they have all these specials like $ 9.99 Peking duck if your table orders $ 30 or more worth of dishes. The dishes are typically really good. Usually get the pea sprouts, the salt and pepper fried pork, and some kind of soup. Unlike empress harbor, they don’t give you free soup in the beginning, wish that was the case here as well. However, they do give you red bean soup dessert in the end. Also serves dim sum in the mornings, which is extremely crowded– expect a wait.

Pros: –Convenient structure parking with an elevator that takes you to the lobby of the restaurant. –Wait is bearable compared to nearby dim sum places, e.g., Lunasia. –Open on major holidays, e.g., Christmas day. –Dim sum is decent… nothing to rave about but their shrimp chang fen, shu mai, and har gow were classic. Cons: –Didn’t have my friend’s favorite dish, zha leung chang fen. They claimed they were making it in the kitchen, but never followed it and never came around with it. –Gets super busy, so it gets difficult flagging down waiters for condiments, e.g., hot mustard. –Turnip cake was a bit undercooked when we went. –Didn’t see dan tats come around. Overall, an a-okay dim sum establishment.

Dim Sum lunch for four adults for less than $ 40? Yep! I’m a fan. Was it the best dim sum I ever had? No. But it was pretty darned tasty! Service was decent. The cart pushers were somewhat pushy but hey, it’s a Chinese restaurant. If in the area, we’d certainly stop by again.

After my first visit, I would have given it a 4.5 to 5 star rating. On that visit, my friend and I joined our friends who were already seated and just beginning to eat. So, we didn’t have to wait. Also, the food carts kept appearing and it all went fairly smoothly! Today, I brought my husband and daughter because I really enjoyed my experience and the food on the first visit. Today was a 180 degree turn around experience. I can’t tell you how upset I get at being treated like I am not welcome! My husband got the ticket and we waited for our number to be called. We listened intently and then noticed everyone who came after us were already being seated. My husband asks and the ladies tell him that they skipped our number. Tsk, tsk, tsk, really??? So, they seated us within the next 5 minutes. We were seated and no carts came by and we had to flag down a waiter to get tea. We also asked the waiter for a glass of water and a bowl of rice. What do we get? A glass of water and a glass of ice. Hahahaha We finally got rice. At least we got a laugh to ease the tension. There’s this language barrier at these places because their English is minimal at best! I don’t speak their language and they look down on me because of it. It is so hard to order food and to get the things we want. This isn’t the first place that this has happened to me, but it never gets easier to accept! I do wish they would be more gracious and accepting! As for the food, it is actually really good! I prefer the Dim Sum here compared to the other places I have been. Their BBQ Pork Buns are excellent. The pork is delicious and they use a generous amount. They are small, but a perfect Dim Sum size! We wanted Egg Rolls, but they never came around although we saw them on other tables. We got only the basic items. I think the food here is more flavorful as a whole, but I just really cannot stomach the way they are towards me. I was hoping for a great experience so my husband would want to come with me again. Alas, that won’t happen! I would come back ONLY if I come with friends who can speak their language.

I love this place. It’s my new go-to dim sum restaurant. The only reason it does not get 5 stars is that it does not have my favorite dessert, the puff pastry almond soup. Came on a Saturday morning at 10:30am and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table of 8. The 8 of us ate what must have been over 50 items and only paid about $ 16 per person plus tax. I just had dim sum at Lunasia with some buddies and paid $ 18 per person for 6 items. This place is super affordable, and everything tasted amazing. Granted, different quality, different experience, but when I’m craving dim sum, I’m craving down and dirty places that can satisfy my oily, greasy cravings. For reals though, this place is actually not dirty at all — it’s very modern and actually more tastefully decorated than other popular dim sum places like NBC or 888. The servers were wearing reindeer antlers, and it was quite refreshing to see the manager going around asking if people wanted the food on his tray. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t 5-star service or anything, but you shouldn’t expect that at any dim sum restaurant in the area, anyway. The carts get restocked pretty frequently, and the food is as good as it gets. So, I noticed on my first visit that everyone was ordering a plateful of what looked like mini pineapple buns in tin trays. I noticed immediately, and the server told me they were Lao Sa Baos(sp?). I guess I’ve just been out of the loop because I didn’t know what they were, but let me tell you, these are perfectly baked butter buns with a salted runny yolk filling topped with the sweet pineapple crust. You get a glimpse of heaven when you pop these in your mouth. Be careful, though, because the yolk will get everywhere if you’re not alert. No wonder people ordered plates and plates of these suckers. Overall, this place is the bomb.

My family and I arrived here(around 10) right before the rush, so we were seated immediately. This place is huge and modern, so there shouldn’t be much of a wait when it does get super busy. Right when we sat down, we ordered all the dim sum we wanted from the 2 carts next to us. That was easy! We had around 17 plates of food + tea per person, and only costed around $ 55 for 6 people! This place is waaaayyy cheaper than NBC. Normally it would cost at least $ 100 for dim sum. There was a giant sign that said dim sum is only $ 1.98 on weekdays. So for those that are free monday-friday, definitely come here! This dim sum place is located in atlantic times square, so there’s plenty of parking. You can also go to get some dessert at fluff ice or phoenix. Or you can catch the next showing at AMC. There’s also the option to shop around at Daiso. This plaza is poppin’

I do have to say the price for this place was pretty good… five people and a baby(so six total) was $ 79 and we were all pretty full. FOOD: The food was alright. We ordered the standard dim sum food: Ha Ga — shrimp Sui mai — pork dumpling Chicken feet Spare ribs Buns etc. The food is pretty good for the money, but the only problem is… you have to WAITFORIT… no. That’s it. You have to actually wait for it. I am not a fan of carts. I like to order my dim sum and have it brought to me. It saves time… and my hunger. SERVICE: Pretty slow, but they were responsive. EXPECT A WAITONWEEKENDS AMBIANCE: Standard Chinese place PARKING: Free parking — underground too But good luck! OVERALL: It’s pretty good for the price, but I hate carts.

The Service: Hostess are very efficient calling numbers. They want to seat the customers ASAP. Cart ladies are working hard going around table to table. There are always many staffs walking around. Always get fast service. The restaurant is located at the Atlantic Square plaza. 2nd floor, next to 24 Hours Fitness. The restaurant has nice decoration. They open at 9am, completed packed around 11am. They do take phone reservation. The Food: Freshly made. Good quality dim sum. Many varieties. The Parking: Underground parking(free). There are 2 levels of underground parking. First level is always packed.

We have several dim sum places in Honolulu. I’ve been to a few and I enjoy comparing them to each other and to restaurants on the mainland. The most intriguing things are the unusual items. I like to try different combinations of textures and flavors and Atlantic Seafood provided me with this opportunity! There were a couple of dishes that I hadn’t seen before, so I had to have them. I didn’t know the names of them, but one was bell pepper with shrimp on the top and the other was a «Chinese doughnut» wrapped with«look funn». Another stand out was a chive dumpling. Of course, we had to have dahn tat(custard tart) and chicken feet — yum! The parking was convenient and free. It appeared that we went early on a Saturday because we didn’t have to wait. We were seated right away at the back of the restaurant, in a corner. The push carts came around often and we had our fill! This was an extra fun experience because I met other Unilocalers, Lily T. and Chris A. Hopefully we’ll get to dine together again soon!

As far as dim sum places go, Atlantic Seafood is consistently good. Over the years, prices have steadily been going up but it’s still worth it. The variety of dim sum choices is good and for the most part dishes come piping hot. Some of the dishes that aren’t on the steam carts might be room temperature. But we haven’t had anything that I wouldn’t consider too cold to eat. The variety of dishes offered is great and they offer a few unique items. For example the lau sau bao, a pineapple bun filled with a runny egg, butter, sugar concoction. It’s a favorite item in my circle of family and friends. Service is actually ok. I don’t speak much Chinese and only know a few choice words. But, coupled with hand gestures, it’s enough to get what we want. Carts are plentiful so you’re never waiting too long. Parking can be a big pain during busy times but it’s free and I can usually find something on the opposite end of the parking structure.

This is place is hands down the best valued dim sum restaurant in 626 area for me! I know some people say that the quality is not that great or the variety wasn’t the best. But for me, coming on a Saturday morning, the spread was amazing! My sister, dad, brother and I came here a little after 1pm to eat and it was great! Food: Right when we sat down(thankfully we didn’t have to wait in a line), the ladies with the carts asked us what we wanted and there were so many choices to choose from! Within 5 minutes, we were happily eating from an assortment of 8 dishes. The shui mai was plump and flavorful, the shrimp dumplings were so delicious, fish curry balls had the most amazing curry, and my most favorite dish was the pineapple bun with the salty duck egg yolk in it. You have to order this! My brother literally craves this bun(which is why we also came here) and now I crave it! We were so full after ordering over 15 dishes. But the cost, ended up being only $ 40 with tip! Great value. Parking: A great plus is that there is underground parking since it is in a mall. Then I don’t have to worry about circling for parking or parking super far. I seriously cannot wait to come back to eat dim sum! Love it!

Came around 11 on a Thursday and there was no wait at all. Not being Chinese, I don’t know the names of all the dishes we ordered but I had tried everything at other dim sum places before minus a couple of them. Nothing was spectacular-in fact, some of the dishes were subpar to other places regarding texture and taste. Obviously I’m not an authentic reviewer since I would not know what a properly done dish would taste but I do know good vs. bad taste. For example, the congee was very bland, even for my bland tastes. The«pastry» dishes, which I usually don’t prefer over the rest, were actually a lot better here. Nonetheless, I walked out full and it was a very cheap meal. How could I complain? Can’t say I’ll be back for dim sum here but it was a decent experience.

[Time & Date of visit]: Thursday afternoon [Party Size]: 2 [Location/Ambiance]: Parking — Garage deck parking but pretty cramped. Unless you want to walk a bit to the escalator /elevators, you might be parking lot stalking a bit. Even more a pace when the gym rats get out and slowly limp to their car after leg day. The entrance is wrapped around a walkway. No lines seen this time, from what I heard. Inside: This place must know they are good, as they have chairs outside the entrance and inside near the fish tanks for patrons to wait. It felt like the restaurant was H shaped as we walked through the middle hall. The restaurant opened up even more to the bigger hallways on left and right. Tablecloth’d tables are spaced out pretty well for small and large groups. Décor is modern Asian. Ambiance — Casual but super loud. [Service]: Full service. The check can be paid at your table. This place is pro level to what I’m used to in Atlanta for a dim sum restaurant. Wow. The managers and servers are rocking walkie talkies. Dim sum cart servers are rocking what looks like upside down visors like a personal sneeze guard at a buffet. Though it might be a bit embarrassing for them. It’s greatly appreciated as a customer. Beverage refills were spot on. Popular non dim sum cart items were brought in multiples by servers straight from the kitchen such as Asian veggies and roast duck. [Food Highlights]: Shumai(pork dumplings) — Tasted great and slightly larger than other dim sum spots I’ve tried. As the first dumpling we ordered and tasted, I was only hoping the other dumplings were just as good. Har gow(shrimp dumplings) — One of my favorites, and these were equally good. My cousin and I ordered one for each of us. Forget sharing. Nom nom nom away. Taro dumplings — A little dry but plentiful fillings, flaky texture on the outside. These also seemed bigger than most places. Salted egg yolk bun — Not to be confused at all with egg tarts. These are what I feel are a contradiction. It’s subtly sweet yet the yolk is like molten, warm and almost liquid like after taking a bite. The pastry bun is crisp, flaky and soft. Nothing like I ever had so far. Must try. Flat rice noodle with shrimp — A tad try but the accompanying sweet soy sauce brings the dish back up a notch. They don’t skimp out on the shrimp. [Total Bill w/Tip & Tax]: I was greatly surprised that we ordered mostly double of the dum sum orders and it was only $ 17. O. O!!! {Summary}: For a placed that was packed on a Thursday afternoon, you might be wondering too if anyone actually works in this area. But great service, good dim sum for the staple dishes, and very reasonable pricing makes me give this place a 5 star. Though we didn’t have to wait long for a table and other favorite dim sum dish of shrimp ball fried with crispy noodles was no where to be found. This place still deserves the rating. Must try.
