AMazing aquarium store I’m a all pleco guy and i gotta say this place is the best spot ived ever even heard of. The owner is very knowledgeable and a really nice person as well. Will actually be going back tomorrow :)

I saw some of the reviews and felt it unfair to the owner. The guy working there has a lot of knowledge about fish, so much it is kind of frightening. He takes a lot of pride in his work. The guy who gave this place a one star seems to be from the competitors… who would ask for price online and then complain abd post another business? Seems shady. I dont disagree with the guy not discussing price on the phone, how do you know they’re serious? Seems weird these one-​star reviews. I love this place for our in home aquarium needs!

Guy was very friendly. Came in to see if they had any Clown Loaches he said sorry all sold out. But we have Yoyo Loaches okay I got 3 of them. They have a great selection of plecostomus. I saw a 1 inch Royal Pleco for 15 bucks humm I was thinking of getting it, he said they get really big like a foot or more still thinking of getting it. Most prices are marked on the tanks except for the monsters you’ll have to ask about them. I will be back.
Came back a few days later and got 2 plecostomus one Royal and one Snowball for a very reasonable price. Compared to some online fish stores.

This guy who owns this store has super knowledgeable when it comes to plecos especially. When it comes rare and and monster fish, this is the store you might want to check out. Always has all the tanks super clean and has the best quality of fish. This is no ordinary fish store people. Totally recommend!

If you like to be ignored this is the place to come. It seem like if you are interested in the fish they will jack up the price.

I called this place to ask if they had a specific fish I was looking for and they did but then I asked about the prices on the fish and the guy told me they don’t discuss prices over the phone. WOW, really?! Forget this place I would much rather spend my money at a much more customer friendly place like Bob’s tropical fish off Atlantic, not too far from these guys. Awesome selection of fresh/​saltwater fish and great staff.

I’m pretty sure this place is OUT OF BUSINESS. Been here a few times and it’s always closed. I’ve also called a few times which seems to go to a cellphone with no voicemail set up.

Best fish shop in town!!! Anthony is very knowledgeable and he has an amazing shop with different kinds of fish. Love is shop and it’s super clean!!! If you need fish for your aquarium, go there and he will take care of you…

A lot of exotic plecos and tropical fish, prices are pretty good, street parking, location is convenient if your in the Sgv area, the owner was super friendly. Highly recommend if your into Monster fish and Exo tic plecos.

I used to like this store but after coming here 10 times already, I realize that it’s not a good store and the owner is a jackass.
Some guys like this place because they carry some rare fish. They do have some good fish here, but most of them are really pricey. I wanted to buy $ 80 worth of fish from him and I offered 75, and he still said no. His words: «The price is the price.» Plus he acts really annoyed when I ask him a question. Plus he always has to charge tax even after I’ve spent a lot of cash there, fuck that.
It’s annoying because he doesn’t have prices listed on many of his fish and you have to ask him the price. Then he’ll tell you a super high price and act annoyed when you react to the price.
Another thing that sucks about him is he doesn’t keep regular store hours. His signs say he’s open on weekends until 7 but I’ve been there at 2 pm and the store is closed. That’s happened to a lot of other reviewers here. One time I got there at 4 PM and he told me I couldn’t go in because he was closing (at 4pm on a Saturday). I asked if I could walk around for 30 second just to see what they have in Stock and he said sorry we’re closed. Man, to hell with this dude.
It sucks even more because the phone number listed here on Unilocal doesn’t work. So you can’t ask him if the store is open. You just gotta show up and hope he’s in the mood to open his store.
I really liked this place before but now that I know the owner better, I realize it’s not a good place. Why make the drive there when he’s probably going to be closed and the prices are really high and you can’t bargain? Plus this dude charges tax, fuck that!
