The room itself looks dark and dead … Came here with my son for a day my son literally found a weird looking 8 legged bug in the room something I’ve never seen i wouldn’t recommend coming here again to be honest the bathroom looked pretty stain and filthy also it just didn’t feel comforting being in there. My opinion

I have lived in many motels. There were the good of them and the bad ones, but this motel was the worst. I wish i could pay $ 90 for a motel in LA downtown than paying $ 78 for this bad motel! I was given a smoken room, and i don’t smoke. The bathroom looked like s***. It seemed like it was built in 1800.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. Where do I start about the badness, is it when I saw ants in the lobby, the domestic violence I heard and reported upstairs, the fact that I saw what looked like a bullet hole above my bed, or the fact that I woke up to sirens from the local PD and Fire department. This place looks, smells, and feels like it hasn’t been renovated since it was bought. The stale smell of cigarettes smacked me in the face when I walked into my room. One bed was clearly a mattress while the other was a box spring… just horrible. My friends called this place the lodge of doom.
Their one plus is that they passed the floor test, where I wipe one of their white towels on the ground and see how dirty it is when I bring it back up.
We only needed to be here one night and they were the cheapest in the area… I definitely got what I paid for… never again. Ever.

This was one of my last minute places to stay as I was instructed to go for training in Montebello my first day at work back in March. I was a bit creeped out by the room as it was dark and looked like something from those mafia movies. The stay was only about $ 70 a night which was very affordable. I had a bit of a hard time sleeping as the noises from outside if someone was walking past, above, right and left, bottom were all quite evident.
Pretty much your standard motel — it’s good for a night stay. Don’t think you would get soaps and the usual room treatment at a hotel.

The best place in the area you can find for the price. It’s a little less than $ 70 a night compared to others who charge $ 100+. The room was relatively clean, although idk how we ended up getting two beds in one room… They don’t give you mini soaps or anything, it’s pretty basic. There was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, but the bed was pretty comfortable and it was quiet all night. Parking is okay.

I stayed here because it was a last minute thing and every other place wanted over $ 180. This place was only charging $ 68 so I took it. I was supposed to stay in room 212 but when I went to put the key in the key broke! So we went and told the owners and they gave us a new room with a larger bed. The pictures are for room 220. For the price it was okay. Pretty clean and alright for a one night stay. People were very nice, lots of authentic Chinese food within a few minutes and it stayed quiet all night. So can’t complain! :)

Wish I could give this place zero stars… this place is beyond dirty! The bed fells like sleeping on a box spring. After five minutes of being in the room we decided to leave. I attempted to get my full refund, and instead argued for roughly 30 min and ended up paying $ 40. This place is a rip off! Would much rather sleep in my car than this filthy hotel room.

This place is a fast sleep and bounce motel. Very convenient location. (We actually walked to boiling point). The front desk office lady is very nice. Some rooms are a little run down but what is there to complain for 65 a night. Safe neighbourhood. Near cvs, gas station, and lots of fucking chinese food LOTS.

This place no 5 star resort but for $ 65 it was definitely worth it. The room had a flat screen TV on the wall, the furniture looked new and the bed was pretty stiff, but I prefer it that way. The staff was very friendly when we checked in. I was very skeptical when I first booked this place because of some of the other reviews I read, but I think management is trying to update their rooms. We got lucky with a good one. I would definitely come back in the future. Also, watch out if you have kids, the adult channel is not locked!

We got here at 5am in the morning from SF and it was not the time to check in at our reserved hotel yet. So we were forced to stay at this motel to rest as we were all exhausted. The whole room stinks and bed sucks, but then again what do you expect for a motel!!! Well, there was free parking in front of our room. I think this is a Chinese owned place, he was a nice guy though. However, we would not come back again.

If you just need a cheap bed for the night in a safe neighborhood, this place is perfect. The beds are kind of hard and you can tell the room we stayed in was very old and used; from the carpet, to the walls, curtains, beds, graffitied nightstands, and pretty much everything in the room. You could tell the towels in the shower were very used, too.
With that said, the receptionist was friendly and for the price we paid, you really can’t complain for such a central location. Parking is free right by your room.

This is one of favorite motel in Los Angeles. This motel provided open kitchen for all the customer which is in back of the office. The owner planted all kind of flowers and trees in the park lot, which i feels like my home. Recently the motel remodeling all the room including new paint all the rooms, furnitures, carpet and mattress, refrigerator and the awesome things is some family room has microwave, it is very convenient who has babies to warm up the babies food during the mid night. The front office is opened 24 hours and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is closed to police station, public library, supermarket (3mins) and has all kind of restaurants some restaurants are opened up 24 hours especially Hong Kong café. I am very happy to stay here with my family. Which I highly recommended to my friends and the price is $ 75 tax included for 2 beds reasonable cheapest in town.

It was suprised me for my second visit the room furnitures were all new and the room are fully refushing compaire to my first visit past few years back. I remembered the first time stayed in this motel was really upset me due to the furnitures was old and bed was bad and smelly. The second time visit which on Sept 2014. Friendly staffs given me a warm welcome when i arrived in the lobby. The price (65 dollar) was resonable for the room which i stayed in with the brand new furniture and lovely bed. The area located was so convience for the traveller. The best thing is motel have a private cab services.

It’s a motel, you get what you pay for.
The negative:
I expected a waist high fridge but our room didn’t come with it so when I asked for one the lady literally moved a 4’x3’ one from next door. It seemed like it wouldn’t be cold, the frozen bin even had some mold in it… but some of our stuff was frozen b/​c I turned down the temperature thinking it’s not working well.
Some sheets smell a bit like cigarettes and has burns on them too. We also had a bunch of scratched graffiti on most of our furniture, and I found a dead roach in the bathroom.
No Ice machine, so naturally no ice buckets. However they give you some from their fridge if you go to the office. They seem like they’re renovating a lot of the rooms…
WiFi– in and out of range when I haven’t moved around? Hope u don’t need it!
The positive:
Cheap, spacious, fairly safe neighborhood. The lady at the office is pretty accomodating to requests if needed!

Worst place ever graffiti in the bathrooms and drawers. The mattress was so hard no cushion whatsoever. Literally was like sleeping on boards.

Do not come here if you are on any kind of pleasure or business trip, it does not worth it. We reserve this motel and they guarantee us a room and yes they did but this motel needs to remodel everything, including upgrading their furniture. Their walls are fading of painting. their carpets have stained on it. their furnitures have grafiti and they’re broken. their toilet was rocking when i sat on it… neeed i say more, ok if u come with your children then don’t turn on the tv because they do have porn channel on it. We came on the first day, we left on the first day and we’ll never, ever come back again…

this place is my favorite motel to come to when I’m visiting my family in Monterey park. they have a kitchen in the office so I kinda feel like I’m at home
