I usually come here to run the diamond and get a small workout in. It’s a nice spot to relax and read a book too. During the weekends, there’s usually a children’s baseball game, so I avoid it. But any other time of the day, I get it all to myself! Jk. The grass is always green and if you’re lucky, in the evening, you’ll catch a small little rabbit hopping alongside you while you’re running. Lol.

The city redid the children’s playground and it is wonderful! There are two play structures — one for toddlers and one for older kids(it’s a pirate ship!). There are also baby swings and big kid swings. While it’s not all completely shaded by trees, there are trees nearby and a few tarps that provide a bit of shade. It’s very clean(the new floor is the soft material and not sand) and tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood.

My daughter plays softball here and it’s a great small park. Tucked away between the homes of monterey park, drive too fast and you will miss it. Has a cute playground for a party of to hangout, because it is tucked away not alot of people will be there fighting over the park spot. don’t forget your bug spray, at any park you go to, there will always be bugs. When the bathrooms are open upstairs, they are well kept and clean.

Very small quiet Park. Seems like a park for more baseball enthusiasts as there are 2 baseball fields with a small mini one at opposite side of lower baseball field. The children play area is pretty basic and not too big. Has a small monkey bars and slide. The grass is pretty green and the hill away from the baseball fields have plenty of play room for dogs. Gumby & Pokey were having a blast running up and down the hill and the stairs. Overall — fun day at the park. =)
