History
Established in 2015.
The business was actually established in 1960. That was the first time my brother and I first ate a sub. From that point on my brothers and I were destined to open this place. We grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey and you will find a few icons of that area represented in the décor from the floors that were installed to be reminiscent of the boardwalk to Lucy the Elephant to the High Diving Horse at Steel Pier.

Business Owner
JT came from the casino business in Connecticut to California to open Boardwalk Subs. His brother Terry has lived in the Monterey area for 30 years and is the chef/owner of Michael’s Catering as well as Wild Thyme Deli & Café. Our third brother lives in the San Diego Area and is hoping to join us shortly. Thee were four brothrs and we always talked about opening a sub shop. When Victor passed away unexpectedly we realized that it was now or never.
