Bobby Yee D.P.M.

Bobby is good but the staff is horrible and rude. Been going there for 5 years and but front desk lady is unbearable. She sent the wrong prescription to my pharmacy…

This is yet another post which raves about Dr. Yee, but ultimately gives a low rating because of his rude office staff. I have been seeing Dr. Yee since about 2010, and I have always found him to be very kind, knowledgeable, and thorough.
However, as of today, I have stopped seeing him. I would rather have a hurting foot than deal with his receptionist ever again. The strange thing is that I have heard her on the phone being somewhat funny and understanding with other patients. However, to my husband and I (and I’m sure for others as well), she has been nothing but rude. When I was in the office today, I told her that I would not be making another appointment due to not wanting to interact with her anymore. She responded that she is just doing her job, but it’s really about the WAY she does her job. Her tone, attitude, and unwillingness to listen or understand is a problem.
To be honest, although I have had a good experience with Dr. Yee, it reflects badly on him that he would keep someone like this around for so many years. It’s bad from a professional standpoint and it shows a lack of concern for his patients.

He is just amazing!!! I had a problem with an ingrown nail (i know thats nasty) i had that ingrown nail for months I couldn’t handle the pain no more i went to Bobby Yee and he fix the problem, he’s job is just amazing!!! I WOULD TOTALLY RECOMMEND Bobby Yee.

I was really nervous about my visit with Dr. Yee but when I arrived, I was treated very courteously by the office staff. There were already a few patients there but what a lively and friendly group! Yes, I do take note of other patients, if doctor is good, patients are usually friendly and smiley (doctors like dentists, optometrists, etc.). Anyway, Dr. Yee was so approachable that he put me at ease immediately. I don’t care for needles, especially in my foot, but he told me how he and what he was going to do. He topically numbs the area first then SLOWLY inserts the needle and the deadening medication. He even turned up the music for me, which was Pavarotti. I felt a little discomfort when the medication first started to go in, but after that NO PAIN! AND NO PAIN AFTER THE REMOVAL of my ingrown toenail. His staff were helpful and even told me beforehand how good he is in administering shots. They were right! Thank you, Dr. Yee and your staff!

I was worried about calling for my first appointment because of the bad reviews on the receptionist, but I found her to be very nice and even funny too. I am looking forward to my first appointment!

One star for the receptionist. She was so rude that an appt. for the highly recommended doctor never took place. Decided to go somewhere else. I am sure he is great but not even going to attempt to see him because I am not dealing with the receptionist!!!

Love Dr Yee, have a wait sometimes but well worth it

Dr Yee is great. He explains all the possible treatment options, knows his field, and takes his time with each patient. He has been in his field for over 25 years and, from what i can tell, also stays up to date with the latest developments in his field.

I was diagnosed with a heel spur and went to Dr. Yee’s Salinas office. First, 730am appointment is great. He spent about 30 min with me to find out the doc in a box was wrong. We went over treatment options and when I wanted to wait and see, he was ok with that rather than getting an immediate CT scan. Good attitude and explains what is going on. Highly recommended.
