If you have a child with a Speech problem, this is the best place in Monterey County for you and your child. Both of my children received services here and are doing excellent. From the knowledgeable and friendly staff to the warm environment, this is the place where you will get the result you are looking for.

My 63 year old husband has Primary Progressive Aphasia, a rare language disability. We have been seeing Jennifer D’Attilio for the past 2 years. She and the CCLLC were highly recommended by the neurologist. Jennifer is simply amazing! She is the heart of our support team. She had an instant connection with my husband, which is crucial. She integrates games in hard learning drills to strengthen language reception and expression. Jennifer is aware of the latest techniques for this illness and communicates with our research team at UCSF. She goes above and beyond to provide the best care possible: accommodates family in the sessions (in person, teleconference, or FaceTime), house visits to drop off homework, email progress reports weekly, quick email replies, assigned a graduate student to personalize a digital communication app for my husband (with his favorite restaurants, friends and family names, sports activities, and more), and arranged for the graduate student to work 1on 1 with my husband *daily* for 3 weeks without charge! Everyone at CCLLC is professional, accommodating, highly qualified, and personally committed to our success. If Unilocal had 10 stars, CCLLC would get it!

Our 5 year old has seen a great improvement over the past month since we started taking him to the center. We have found the staff is very flexible with appointments (including options to have ones late in the afternoon), and they even allowed us to cancel one time the same day without penalty.
They to take Blue Cross Blue Shield ($ 25 co-​pay) as an added bonus.
I should add that he has only seen Jennifer at the center, so we can recommend her.

My Daughter graduated high school due in large party to the hard working professional educators at CCLLC my family and I are so happy with the results we will and do recommend there services to anyone who ask for the best place to expanded a child’s horizons! Thank you ladies ‘it takes a village’ and we are lucky to have you in ours.

Our 5yr old child has been receiving speech therapy for a little over a month and we are proud to say that we have been completely happy and moved by the progress our little guy is making. Jennifer his instructor has been wonderful and we appreciate her flexibility with accommodating his sessions around our busy Summer schedule.

This place is incredibly bad. Our 2 year old listens better then the director. We went here for a swallow exam for our child. They double booked our appointment, never saw our kid eat or drink and all the person kept repeating was chain the foods. Despite repeatedly saying our kid eats a variety of items and we were concerned about choking this was all she can say.
For some really stupid reason we decided to go back figuring maybe she was just stressed about another couple in the room but instead say it with me ‘Chain the foods’. While our son ran around their play area.
So the first visit maybe 10 minutes (1 minute with our child) and second maybe 20 minutes where she interacted with him a tops of 3 minutes where she just played with him. We got sent a bill for an evaluation (never done), a swallow evaluation (never saw him eat so not sure how she can say did this) and a treatment. So $ 500 for hearing say Chain the foods. You are beter off teaching your kid these 3 words yourself.
