Dr. Dan is amazing. I was in severe pain with my back, to the point that I could not put my own shoes on my poor husband had to do it for me. I called as a new patient and got in the same day. Within 2 treatments I was feeling back to normal! I was always afraid to see a chiropractor and be adjusted, Dr. Kirby made me feel very relaxed and explained everything he was doing to me. Victoria in the front is very nice and efficient as well. I would highly recommend this office!

Dr Kirby is an experienced and efficient chiropractor. He takes the time to do mayofacial release massage and electrostim treatment at all visits. In short, he is the real deal! If you are looking for a friendly and effective chiropractor, look no further!

Kirby is super friendly, kind and gentle. I have been going to him for years and I always feel better when leaving. I like his approach of relaxing the body before he does his work, he will do massage, or a heat table before adjusting.

I loved receiving care from Dr. Kirby. He is nice, funny, and cares about his patients a lot. I went to his practice for my back problem and each time I came out, I felt completely relaxed, happy, and was wiggling like a jellyfish in warm seas (LOL!). I recommend Dr. Kirby to whoever needs his help. I am sad that I will be leaving the area shortly, otherwise I would keep coming back.

My boyfriend and I were recommended by a friend to come here. My boyfriend had injured his back, and was almost back to normal in three visits. I had not seen a chiropractor in years. It was a different experience. He has a great personality and adjusts you just right. There were so many neat tools that he uses in his practice.
I appreciate everything he has done for us and will continue to do for us.

After giving birth to my now 16 month old I knew that I needed to see someone STAT about my agonizing back pain, and hip pain I was going through.
I finally made an appointment from a recommendation from a friend and called for an appointment. They were able to fit me in the very next day! (Talk about convenience)
When I arrived, with my 16 month old in tow, they were excited to see my son, and entertained him while I filled out the necessary paperwork.
After getting a brief description as to the work that Dr. Kirby was going to be doing, I felt more at ease. I got a nice hot pad, and electrode introduction to help get me loose, and then a deep tissue massage, and then he started «cracking!»
The first couple released an enormous amount of pressure I was having, and when he finally set my hips in place, it was an instant NO PAIN!
I felt like I could run a marathon afterwards!
I got my energy back, and it was great.
We were cash patients, so the fee for being seen was fairly reasonable, compared to other Chiro’s in the area…
I am actually looking forward to my follow-​up and seeing how my body adjusted after this.

I had a Facet joint lock up on me during the weekend and I was in horrible pain. I called first thing Monday morning to see Dr. Kirby and he fit me in right away for an appointment. He was so kind and knows what’s he’s doing. He really helped me out and helped me understand everything that was going on with my back. His office environment is awesome and I love the music they play. I highly recommend Dr. Kirby to everyone. I’m excited for my next appointment again!

Like a good honest mechanic you can’t let go of a great chiropractor and I would not see another chiropractor if you paid me. unless I was out of state!
Dr Kirby is awesome, caring and considerate and really takes his time with you!

I have been seeing a chiropractor since I was in my 20’s and I’m now into my 50’s so I’ve got some years of experience. Dr. Kirby is wonderful — he is passionate and professional about his work. I went to him based on a recommendation from a friend who is a patient and who does body work herself — so he came highly recommended. I had been suffering from an issue that had plagued me for 6 months and within a week I was feeling relief. Huge relief — I’m training for a marathon so this was very important! I love the atmosphere in the office and under his care — it is very comfortable, respectful, and caring.

Let me preface this review with, I have been a patient of multiple chiropractors for the same recurring problem. While I am a firm believer in the benefits of chiropractic care, I have never experienced anything like what I experienced at Dr. Kirby’s office.
If I could give this man a zero, I would with no hesitation. I felt that his care was negligent in that he never did any sort of preliminary examinations to determine if there were any underlying problems, by means of x-​rays, etc., but honestly, I feel like that’s the least of it. I would NEVER recommend any woman schedule an appointment with this chiropractor. While I saw other women in his office who apparently have no problems with him, I wasn’t so fortunate. I won’t go into detail on Unilocal,I did that in the letter I was compelled to write to Dr. Kirby, but he was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Male doctors should exercise an extra level of consideration when dealing with female patients (especially if they are going to require them to put on a hospital gown) and Dr. Kirby definitely crossed the line. He made me feel unbelievably uncomfortable and I was shocked at what he apparently felt was acceptable in his dealings with female patients.
Long story short, seek chiropractic help elsewhere, ESPECIALLY if you are a female.

My son’s shoulder was in a lot of pain. I took him to Dr. Dan, though my son wasn’t so sure he would trust a chiropractor. At the same time, I decided I was due for a neck and shoulder tune-​up. I always fall asleep on that water bed with the jets that relax my back. While I was snoring, Dr. Dan diagnosed my son’s problem, treated him and suggested 3 – 4 more visits. I have to pay for his medical care, and his insurance doesn’t cover chiropractic care. I told Dr. Dan I really couldn’t afford that (my son is 23 years old and eeks by on a meager income). He gave us a cash price that was affordable, so I can go ahead and have my son’s needs met. My son was really happy with Dr. Dan (and his mom).
See? This man has a heart. He works with people who don’t have medical insurance. I’m so thankful!

I was deathly afraid of chiropractors growing up… but with a bad back I decided to go to one. I went to one in Monterey and they were a weird and new age-​y couple… no thanks. A co-​worker recommended Dr. Kirby. Focus is on massage and electronic stimulation along chiropractor work. My back is in great shape… the only reason I can still surf and do what I do is because of what Dr. Kirby has done. Great chiropractor!

I decided to visit Dr. Kirby since he was highly recommended by serveral of my friends. So far so good… At this place you don’t get a crack and go (that sounded funny)… you get a nice warm up — heating pads with some kind of electronically charged muscle relaxers (odd feeling and will make you twitch like you have Parkinson’s), a mini deep tissue session with a masseaus… then Dr. Kirby comes in for the kill… quick & painless.

I only put one star because this website doesn’t allow to post NO stars. This guy is a joke. Not only did he ruin my husbands back but he failed to bill our insurance when my husband was treated and ended up billing is 5 years later!!! By that time we had different insurance that would not cover a bill that old. He didn’t even send a itemized invoice.
When we FINALLY did get a itemized invoice it was for services my husband never received. We questioned the billing department about the charges and they flat out told us that when a insurance company refuses to pay for specific services like a massage they itemize it as something else like a «back manipulation» to get it covered by insurance.
After speaking to Dr. Kirby about the issue he refused to budge on the price which we thought we were entitled to since it was so outstanding and we even offered to pay in cash.
He’s a hack, don’t go to him. You’ll be sorry!
