The McCullough team covered our wedding day with beautiful photography and videography. It started with our engagement sitting that they had included with the package we chose. They made it a fun experience, which relaxed us in front of George’s camera. We loved the pictures! On our wedding day, Cindy also had a camera and Tary had a video camera, so they were able to capture everything we wanted. All of our requests and every detail of the wedding day was perfect. Our ceremony was all of 7 minutes, as requested by my husband, so every minute was precious to us and the McCullough team captured every moment from all the right angles. In addition to the absolutely beautiful pictures George and Cindy took, every emotion, the tears, laughter, surprises, visiting with friends and family and all the romantic traditions were caught on video. We love reliving our day! Our wedding day was perfect and so are the pictures and video. We have referred the McCullough Photography to several of our friends for weddings and family pictures and we are very confident to tell everyone that they will not be disappointed in choosing McCullough Photography and Video services.

Cindy and George are wonderful people and the job they have done for the event we hosted for our 4 months old son is unbelievably good. They are very professional and their Nice and charming personalities add to their awesomeness. Both Candid and group Shots looked really good. Cindy planned well ahead of time and was available whenever I had a question. I am gonna say I am keeping them for all my future events. If u are looking for a photgraphy coverage for ur event, this is the place U wont be disappointed!

We recently had Cindy & George take our family portraits. This was our 5^th time using them for family holiday gatherings. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results! I can’t imagine going to anyone else on the Monterey Peninsula. They are familiar with all kinds of beautiful locations for formal and informal portraits. They do a wonderful job working with all ages of family members to capture the best expressions. Cindy is meticulous with every detail and George is very creative in capturing everyone’s ‘best side’. They are very flexible and responsive to special requests. I have always had a hard time choosing between pictures because they present you with so many high quality options. We hope to be going back to them for many more portraits in the future. We highly recommend McCullough Photography to anyone having an event near Monterey.

I do not normally do this, but I am so devastated that I had to write a review. I regret the day that I hired McCullough Photography. Although they took almost 1500 photos these were primarily duplicates, just different angles, so it really came out to about 700 photos. Of those, a huge portion are portraits (which I specifically told them I did NOT want). In half of the the pictures that George took, Cindy was in the background, and vice versa. There was SO much background distraction, it cannot even be photoshopped. The inside photos are grainy and look like an amateur took them. They’re so ridiculously off center or too far away, and half of the people in the photos are looking at George and the other half are looking at Cindy. And the worst of it all: we SPECIFICALLY asked to have a photo of the groom and his grandma who raised him… NONE were taken… NOT ONE. I also have absolutely NO pictures with the flower girls or ring bearer… NOT ONE. My 25 year old niece (bridesmaid) was shoo’d away, and apparently so were the kids. I wrote Cindy to express my concern, and all I got were excuses, justifications, and blame to everyone else. Months before the wedding, I had emailed them specific photo requests and I had given them several photos in person, NONE of these were taken. What she did take were photos of the extremely messy bathroom where we had thrown everything in to get it out of the way. George took pictures of a Monster drink and a bottle of water, among other things. There was NO communication, and both of them were very bossy. I tried blowing up several pics, but when I did, they became blurry. The photos are off-​center, blurry, or look grainy. Of the 1500 photos, I honestly have to say, I only like 100 at the most (and the 100 includes everything from guests to cake cutting, because there aren’t very many of just the two of us). They did not even offer to clean up a few pictures, just to make up for the horrible photos. Fortunately, several friends took excellent photos, so I’ve framed those. I’m sorry, but I ***DO NOT*** recommend them. For those who might think I should have said something at the time, I was was overwhelmed with everything else going on, that is why I had given them the photo samples and that is what we paid them for. Some of these photo requests are common sense. My head was spinning and I do not even remember half of it, let alone what pictures were being taken/​not taken.
6÷11÷14: for clarification, the statement below (Cindy’s response to my post) is not true. I would address each untrue statement individually, but it would be much too lengthy. It’s easier to say that Cindy is confusing my wedding with another, and I will only address three major issues: 1) I never gave her a «lengthy list» or «stack of pictures,» I only gave her about 10 (at the most 15) must-​have pictures, and none were taken; 2) there was never an agreement about the groom’s grandma and kids being at the hotel, so I’m not sure where she got that from (and regardless, pictures were not taken at the beach either); and 3) there are no pictures of the ring bearer and flower girls with me at the beach, which any normal bride has. I didn’t care about the hotel, the beach was the most important to me-​and everyone was at the beach during and after the ceremony. Cindy keeps saying that we were running late and she keeps addressing the pictures at the hotel. Again, I did not care about the hotel pictures. Once the ceremony was done, all of the requested pictures could/​should have been done-​there is no excuse. All I see on the response is basically Cindy very kindly blaming us (again) and not taking any responsibility. I don’t like to bad mouth a business, but I can’t pretend all is well. They may take good photos (based on other reviews, not from my experience) and maybe they just do not work well under pressure (and are not creative at all… they took no «action» shots). My sister had to insist on them taking a picture of the wedding party jumping in the air on the beach… which was one of the must-have’s…and I think they only took one. The rest of the pictures on the sand and everywhere else were staged.

I have to say I made one of my best decisions choosing Cindy, George and Tary as photographer and videographer for my wedding. They are professional, easy to communicate and supportive. The pictures and video turn out to be so beautiful, so perfect. They successfully captured the happiness, laughters, touching moments, beautiful views. I cannot help laughing and crying every time I watch my wedding day video and the album. They are just the perfect team!

Cindy and George were just a pleasure to work with. They are professional, knowledgable, skilled, talented, kind, dedicated, creative and artistic. We just love our photos and the fact that they are all accessible for our friends/​family from their website. They are the perfect team to make your wedding day perfect and memorable

Update: We just got our wedding photos. Approx 2 months wait period. Not bad! And all the pics turned out WONDERFUL!

Cindy and George were great for us!
We contracted them to shoot a «casual sitting» a few months before our wedding, and the result was incredible. They were able to capture moments for us on Carmel Beach, and were even able to include our dogs, which was NOT easy! They were patient and professional, and enjoyable to work with.
Our wedding was photographed at Holman Ranch with precision and with a fantastic eye for the locale. Everything came out gorgeous, and my beautiful bride was captured in perfection.
We wouldn’t change anything, they did a great job…

Cindy and George McCullough did two photo shoots for us; a «casual» engagement shoot at the Jabberwock Inn in Monterey, and our wedding day shoot at Laguna Seca Golf ranch. The photos turned out so great, without any touch-​ups, that people thought we had our pictures taken in a studio with fake backdrops. Unreal!
They worked great with us, our family and friends, and the other vendors. Great people to work with and amazing results!

We found George and Cindy at a bridal show and won a package for an engagement shoot. We loved our photo’s from the shoot and really felt comfortable with Cindy and George, its great to have a married couple assisting you when you are preparing to be married. Their packages were fairly reasonable, especially compared to all of the other vendors we encountered throughout our Journey. They were willing to do hourly rates and provide the entire photo’s on CDROM with copyright release so we could print as many as we would like and to share photo’s with our loved ones! During the wedding they did an amazing Job handling not only my Husband and myself but also all of our Families and loved ones. I am really excited to see all of the photo’s that they took (waiting just a few more weeks) They made great use of the venue and they know got some really great shots! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reasonably priced photographer’s with great enthusiasm for making the most of your special day.

Cindy and George did an amazing job photographing our wedding ceremony and reception. Their skills are astounding and professional.
