History

Established in 1995.

After many years of working for California’s Finest Custom Picture Framer, Mr. Don Hartman. When Don retired, and closed his business my brother and I found ourselves without employment. Wanting to continue in the industry we couldn’t find a place that was as quality oriented and met the professional picture framing standards we had acquired. We are both PPFA Certified Picture Framers, so the only way we were going to be satisfied that the services that we provided were of that same quality and high standard, we opened our own business, Monterey Custom Framing in May 1995. We have continued to offer the finest designs and workmanship to our clients who come to us from all over California.

I am a very creative person, and I use that creativity both in Professional Custom Framing and Design, as well as a Professional Musician. I have been a Professional Musician & Teacher for over 40 years. I have been a Custom Picture Framer for over 25 years. I continue to pursue both creative processes with total dedication. I love my work !
