Perfect Touch Spa

I went to visit Monterey California las week and I went to Perfect touch Spa in downtown. I had an amazing experience with Martha about my eyebrows. She was sweet and helpful. Had a wonderful work. She is the best. I really recommend her.

I hesitate to write this review because it may make it hard to get an appointment but fair is fair. I’ve been getting facials for many years. I’ve been to, supposedly, the best in L.A. and S.F. But, Martha gave me the best facial I’ve ever had. My skin was gorgeous afterwards. She also did my brows and lashes and they were perfect. And she does not let you walk out looking like you just got out of bed. She put a little make-​up on me and made me look incredible. It’s obvious she loves her work. And, she is superb at it. The best ever! I’m never going to anyone else again.

Martha is very friendly, and runs a good business. She is usually very eager to help you schedule an appointment, and she usually does a good job with my eyebrows, for me. (All but my most recent visit, my brows have been well-waxed…last time she must’ve been in a hurry or something, because they did not come out quite as they have in the past.)
The prices are very reasonable!

Martha is Godsend!!! A gift from the heavens!!! I have never met anyone more passionate about skin and beauty than Martha. I just had my first appointment with her today. I called this morning to ask if I could schedule a consultation for facial treatment, and she said she had an availability at 3pm. I had about an hour to get ready, but I was totally motivated to make it to this appointment with Martha so I got ready as quickly as possible and called a cab. I was starting to worry because five minutes had turned into ten which then turned into half an hour and still no taxi in sight. I had to call the Yellow Cab Taxi company several times to ask about my ride because for some strange reason my taxi never showed up. When the taxi driver finally pulled up into the drive way, I was already 35min. late for my appointment. Once I jumped into the cab I received a text from Martha asking whether I would still be showing up for my appointment. I apologized profusely, told her I was on my way, and that there was an issue with the transportation. Martha was very forgiving! She later told me that she ended up rescheduling an afternoon appointment so she had time to start on my treatment! I was so overwhelmed by her kindness and determination to treat my skin. I have terrible acne and scarring on my face (and it has been causing me so much grief and stress). Martha reassured me that the treatment plan she has in mind for me will be the solution to my problem skin (that and learning to relax… oh and easing off the chocolate!). I completely trust her and look forward to the following five (of six) treatments I signed up for.
The Spa is located in downtown Monterey, and she offers a variety of high-​quality/​medical grade services. The Spa is small, cute, and welcoming– a very relaxing place! The treatments are well worth the price, and Martha definitely knows what she’s doing. She also offers a complimentary hand wax relaxation/​massage treatment (which was incredible!). Martha really wants her clients to feel relaxed and that they are getting the best treatment possible. Please, please, PLEASE, if you are in the middle of a Spa search and trying to decide where to go, look no further– make an appointment with Martha.

I got permanent makeup from Martha here and I’m very pleased with the experience. I chose Martha because of the technique she uses (SofTap, instead of a tattoo gun). I particularly appreciate how patient and informative she was during my HOUR LONG pre-​procedure question/​answer/​planning session. (It doesn’t normally take that long, I just had a lot of concerns and specifics about how I wanted my eyebrows). Martha politely provides feedback if you’re requesting something that may not be so suitable for you as an individual. She took her time planning out the shape of my new brow (one is completely different from the other) and WE consulted TOGETHER 100% of the way about the shape before she started putting anything permanent on my skin.
Of course, she showed me the sterile ‘needle’ before starting. The procedure itself was not ‘pain free’ as mentioned in a brochure, but not as painful as I was expecting. It felt like scraping with and unfolded paperclip. I got there a little after 10 and left a little after 1230 (so the permanent brows was probably around 1.5 hours). The initial follow-​up touch-​up is not free. I will update once my brows fade a little into the color they will be. But for now, her personalized service would definitely make me likely to see Martha again (for both facial services and permanent eye-​liner).

I have gone to perfect touch a couple of times now to get Brazilian waxing. very fast, a different and better wax was used than what most places use and more importantly painless! its easy to schedule an appointment and Martha was incredibly friendly.

Martha is excellent! I came here with my mom who has tried a million different places to get a brow wax/​tint and she assures me this place is the best, and she will always be driving all the way from Santa Cruz just to see Martha!
I got my eyelashes tinted and they look great! Also they have lasted much longer than any other place! I will definitely be going back to Martha!

Perfect Touch Spa is located downtown Monterey, next to the Aveda concept salon on Alvarado. This little studio spa is very cute. It feels like an intimate neighborhood space.
Martha (owner) is a true professional esthetician. I went to her for a first time emergency eyebrow wax. She is a perfectionist and wants her clients to have the best possible look for them. She takes her time to do everything the correct way. Some places just wax and rush you out, but Martha does not. She took care to wax, trim, pluck, then soothe the skin with a special tonic then a light emitting device for $ 20. At first I was nervous to try someone new, but she assured me that she knows how to shape eyebrows very well. She was right, because my new brows felt beautiful.
Not only does she offer eyebrow waxing, but she has an array of facial services, mineral makeup and medical spa treatments. She also offers a very interesting natural permanent makeup procedure. I never saw permanent eyeliner look so natural. I think I will back to try the facials and possibly the mineral makeup!
