As a portrait photographer myself, it was paramount that I have the best photos from my wedding. When none of the photographers who I know and trust were available (either out of town or in the wedding) I had a problem on my hands. I asked around, and Ricky was recommended to me. I asked him if I could see a complete wedding that he’s shot, and was immediately impressed.
The more we worked with him the more impressed I was. Our engagement photos were wonderful, not to mention the wedding photos. He was a complete professional throughout the entire process.
He was easy to work with, got all the shots we wanted, and got us the photos in a timely fashion. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

I knew that photography was going to be crucial for our big day and was nervous about hiring someone I didn’t know personally. Ricky was recommended and I could not be happier with the result. It has been a few years since our wedding, and we still LOVE looking back at our pictures, and have since recommended him for two other weddings.
His pricing is competitive and wonderful, considering all of the work and pictures that come with it. The day of our wedding, I didn’t have to worry about where he was or if he was getting the right pictures. He captured a bit of everything, and was not intrusive by any means. During my wedding, a few of our more «silly» pictures were not his first choice, but years later, at my sister’s wedding, he had mastered his craft even more (if that is possible) and suggested those more «silly» and personality-​filled shots. Not only does he do the regular shots, but has his own signature poses that make his style stand alone.
Along with this, he was very professional, yet personable. My husband and I felt comfortable with him and were ecstatic to hear that he would be doing my sister’s wedding as well. It was like seeing an old friend again, as he was very interested in our life, and not just taking the picture.
I would recommend Ricky to anyone looking for quality photography that is efficient and personalized. We could not be happier with his ability to truly capture the story and love that filled our special day.

We were so pleased with our wedding pictures that Ricky did for us. He has a great eye for detail and originality. It is awesome to go back and see all the captured moment from our big day. He met all the specific requests I had in mind and captured the whole day perfectly. We also received our picture in a timely fashion.
Ricky also did my niece’s newborn photos and our family portraits. Which are so memorable to look back at. He is a well rounded professional photographer that would be great to hire for any event or photo shot. I highly recommend him and am very impressed with his work.

Choosing a wedding photographer is just as important as choosing the perfect wedding dress. When the chaos of the wedding planning and the magical fun of the wedding day is over, your wedding album is the permanent fixture of memories you have to look back on. That’s why you need an amazing photographer… and that’s why you need Ricky. He is simply the best!!! Not only is he extremely talented, but he is also easy to work with (even for those of us who are a little bit OCD) and is willing to do what it takes to make the bride and groom’s day the best it can possibly be. Neither my husband or I were very comfortable around the camera, but Ricky made us feel like we were naturals. He used the engagement session to get to know us which was a really nice addition to the package. It was great that we already knew each other for the main event. Another major plus was that he didn’t have an exact time frame on the wedding day either. A lot of photographers say you have a four or five hour window and that’s that. But Ricky was there taking pictures of my family and friends setting up the venue all of the way through the last main event of the evening. It was also important to me to get pictures with every table of guests and, though time consuming, Ricky was willing to do that as well. Every time I asked him to jump he would ask, «how high?» He really did an amazing job and I get teary every time I go back and look at our beautiful pictures. That’s how it should be. He has limitless ideas (you should see the bridal party «jumping» pictures, what he does with the bride’s shoes, and the couples’ wedding rings!). In all honesty you know you are in good hands if you go with Ricky… And that’s exactly where you want to be for the best day of your life!

When I first got engaged I reached out to FB friends for vendor recommendations and Ricky was one of the photographers that was on my «list» — I contacted him and instantly found his prices were much more reasonable (with alot of different choices) and he was great at communicating through email, which really impressed me. When I first met with him, I was a bride that wasn’t interested in doing too much, but when I saw the beautiful book he offered I was hooked! I hired him pretty early on, so we constantly chatted through email to make sure he was up to date on the wedding plans. Our engagement photos were original and he wasn’t afraid to get dirty at our location. The day of our wedding Ricky was there from the beginning to pretty much the end of the evening & captured all the special moments. We get tons of compliments on our wedding book & it was great to have the CD so we could print pictures ourselves and save some money. I have recommended him to other friends and plan to use him in the future!

Ricky was recommended to me by a friend, and after seeing one of his books at our venue, I scheduled an initial appointment and booked him to photograph out wedding and engagement session. Everyone that has seen our pictures has commented on how amazing they are. What I absolutely love about our wedding pictures is that not only did he capture wonderful posed photos, the pictures from dancing and all the guests are amazing as well. I felt like he completely captured the entire event. Our wedding album came out better than I could have ever imagined. It is so creative and was beautifully put together. We could not have been happier with out whole experience, I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

Ricky was great! During both our engagement and our wedding day our shoots and day felt so natural. The pictures were beautiful and everyone commented on how they loved them (BOTH)! Our wedding day was LONG and Ricky made sure he captured every moment perfectly! I had specific requests and Ricky made sure he met my needs and more. It’s true when they say your wedding day flies by, but we have beautiful pictures to help us remember our special day. He captured stills, candid moments of us and our guests, the details of our wedding, and the joy of the day. Ricky is professional all around and it’s one less thing to stress about on your big day when you have someone to get all the shots!

Ricky is an amazing photographer! He has a natural eye for the beautiful shots, and has a lot of experience.
He photographed my sister and I years ago for an outdoor portrait session, then again for an indoor session a few years later. I am very happy with them!
I also get updates through facebook and see his recent wedding photos, and they are so impressive!
Even though I’m in San Francisco, I highly recommend Ricky to all my friends especially for their big events.
