Established in 2011.

Locally run and operated since 1999. It was originally started as the Monterey Copy Center and owned by Steve Hardy. Offering copy, print, and shipping services. In 2011 Kevin Smith (the business’ in-​house graphic designer and manager) came to a agreement with the original owner and the Monterey Copy Center was sold. The business was reinvented as Pixels Graphic Design under ownership by Kevin Smith.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

The lead designer and owner, Kevin Smith, started Pixels from the previous business in the same location. Originally the business started as the Monterey Copy Center in 1999, owned by Steve Hardy. Offering copy, print, and shipping services. In 2005, Kevin joined the business as the graphic designer. A two years later, Kevin was promoted to store manager. After several years of learning the daily operations and getting to know the customers, Kevin began talks with the original owner to purchase the business. Steve and Kevin came to a agreement and on July 1^st, 2011 ownership was transferred. It was time to take the business in a direction that was inspired by his experience in the freelance market.
