Sunkissed Misting

Received spray tans at Sunkissed misting on 2 separate occasions, and my «glow» has looked great both times! Liz’s application is very consistent and natural and the product she uses is a very natural tan color!
My tans from Liz make me feel confident when I am all dressed up with someplace special to go. Will be back for another tan very soon. If you need a spray tan in the Monterey Bay Area, go see Liz! It is worth your time and money, you will feel great!

Love Liz and her spray tan skills! Her place is conveniently located with ample parking near by. She is quick and efficient, has two fans set up so that your tan can dry before you go! She makes me feel very comfortable and she always does a fabulous job!

Loved Sunkissed Misting and Liz! This was my first spray tan and I had to wear a light pink bridesmaid dress. I went 7 days… yes seven… before the event and the color lasted. (Moisturize!) I was even more pleasantly surprised to receive a check in message from Liz a few days after the tan to see how it was staying and ensuring I was happy with my results. I would definitely come back here again!

I was on Unilocal looking for a place to test out a spray tan since I have never gotten one before and I am going to coachella in a few weeks. I found Liz and sunkissed misting and decided to take a look at the reviews and pictures. I liked everything I saw and decided to give it a try.
Liz was easy to get ahold of and worked around both my school and work schedule in order to make an appointment. Since it was my first time I was very hesitant about getting a spray tan. We have all heard nightmare stories about being orange and streaky but this was not the case at all after I got my spray tan from Liz!
I am very, very pale, and it was only after my roommate saw my poor attempt to get some color by sun tanning outside and told me that ‘I was as white as the pavement’ that I knew it was time to give it a try. Liz did a light natural tan color for me and it looked amazing! A few hours after I had gotten the tan I had to go into work and everyone complimented me saying the color was amazing, it brought out my light eyes, and also brought out my facial features. I could have not asked for a better response from people!
It has been a few days and the tan still looks amazing! It makes me feel more confident and really does make you feel healthier and skinnier. I will definitely be going back before coachella and will be ready to show off my great tan!

Love Liz! I have fair skin and spray tan on a regular basis so I don’t have to wear makeup. I have had over 40 spray tans from Liz and her color and coverage is natural and beautiful. I find her color to have a very natural brown undertone without turning «orangey.»
Liz is also a wonderful person who cares about her clients and wants woman and men to feel great about themselves when they leave. I have been to dozens of spray tan technicians over the past 10 years, and Liz is the best hands down.

The place was small, cramped and cluttered. Perhaps it was just a bad day to go but she didn’t seem very on top of things. I asked her about express tanning and she hadn’t heard of it. She had a new machine, which she didn’t seem to understand yet, which made me uneasy. She didn’t ask me what I wanted my color to look like. She didn’t put barrier cream anywhere and my color turned out uneven and slightly orange.
Overall I will not be going back and hope this tan fades quickly

I have extremely fair skin, I never tan I just burn, but I’m getting married in 5 months and I wanted to have a natural glow to look good on my big day, so I tried Sunkissed Misting for a «trial» run, if you will. I love my tan! The color is great, it’s a bit darker than what I’m used to, but let’s face it, anything is darker than my fair skin.
Liz made me feel as comfortable as can be– who is ever really comfortable exposed to a complete stranger?
I will certainly be back!

I have never been a big fan of spray tanning but was in the mood to try something new after feeling robbed of a real summer (didn’t get enough time at the beach!).
A friend recommended Liz at Sunkissed Misting and I have to say that friend always has a healthy natural looking glow. I ‘m so glad I took a chance and went in! Liz is so nice and made me feel very comfortable… Lets face it stripping down in front of a stranger can be a bit unnerving, but she made me feel like I was just chatting away with an old friend. I went to Liz for the first time to get tanned before my wedding. Could have been risky but it came out amazingly! I was so thrilled with the results– she’s my go-​to-​tanner now!

Just got my first spray tan a few weeks ago with Liz for a wedding I was in. Liz did a great job. Tan looked great and natural. I am very fair skinned so I was skeptical that it would like right on me but it did. Her website also says that the tan, if properly cared for, can last 7 — 10 days which again i was skeptical because I have friends who have done spray tans and they swear they only last 5 days. I followed the sheet with tips that was at the salon and the tan lasted a long time. I can’t say for sure it lasted 7 — 10 days because once I noticed any sort of fade near my knees for instance I used my Mary Kay subtle tanning lotion to even out. As of today it has been 2 weeks since my tan with Liz and I am ready to take a luffa to it and be done with it but I was really happy with the products she used. Bonus: Liz gives a military discount.

I started going to Liz last year as needed for special occasions-​wow was she a great find! Not only is she super sweet and warm, her tans are amazing and definitely last the full 7 – 10 days if not longer. Liz is a perfectionist when it comes to spray tanning, she always makes sure to take her time so you get an even look and the right color. Many spray tan places do not care if your tan is even or that it lasts and this is not the case at Sunkissed Misting-​you will go in white and come out with a beautiful natural looking glow. Liz is definitely your go to girl when in need of some color, I will be using her services for my upcoming wedding and festivities :)

Gone to Liz twice to literally get my tan on! Was hesitant at first because I had never had a spray tan before and being that I am Irish in more ways than one, I was nervous that it might turn me orange! However this was not the case. I got a brilliant beautiful glow and compliments on how great my skin looked constantly! Non smudging, dark formula lasted my girlfriends and I about a week. Just enough time to hop to Vegas and back. Making this place a must-​go before every occasion now. Reasonably priced, conveniently located and Liz is a gem. I love this place!

The spray tan looks completely natural. I got it done for a homecoming dance and my date told me I was glowing! He had no idea :)

I have always been hesitant to get a spray tan as I afraid it wasn’t going to look natural, but when all my friends wanted to get bronzed during a recent bachelorette weekend down in Monterey, who was I to say no? lol
Needless to say I am soooooo glad I tried it. Liz was AMAZING! My tan was perfect (just the right color and not a single streak) and looked totally natural. Liz is definitely a master at what she does, she made me feel so comfortable and she was great to talk with during the 30 minutes it took to get sprayed/​dried. She made our whole group feel like queens :)
Two weeks later (and lots of lotion of course… lol) and… I can still see the tan! Although Monterey is little ways from Capitola, I am already going back next weekend. Thanks ladies for bringing me here, and thanks Liz for making my first experience with spray tanning so awesome!

I have had other spray tans but Liz is the best by far. She is very experienced and knows how to make me the right color. She made me feel very comfortable. I will be going back!

I ABSOLUTELY wouldn’t know what I would do without Liz taking care of me. I’ve gone to Liz for my spray tanning (sunkissed misting) for over 3 years now. I formerly first met her at Elysium & never went anywhere else. so glad she branched off on her own. she’s not only professional but a very easy going warm hearted individual. she made me feel comfortable immediately… I’m very particular or I would say picky but Liz not only tackled my pickiness but she always hands down always made sure my spray tan was perfect… She is my beauty essential… ;)

Owner and tanning specialist Liz is one of the best and she does a sweet job tanning your body using an airbrush wand. It may sound too good to be true but I’ve had Liz work on me and I’ve left with a sunkissed body and a big smile. Liz is a sweetheart, she is like a sister from another mother and when I first met her I felt like I had known her forever. She is easygoing and will make you feel comfortable during your quick but thorough misting session.
