Wanderlust Photo Co

This is a belated review but a very deserved one! We hired Wanderlust for both our engagement and wedding photography and it was THE BEST decision we could have made. We met with Brandon and Erin for coffee and immediately knew that they were the perfect fit for us. Their photos fully capture the beauty of our natural selves and the natural environment around us. They even suggested the videographer that we ended up using who was also INCREDIBLE. We have recommended them to several of our friends and I can say in the last six months we have had three friends use their services and have been over the moon with their work, as well. During this Christmas season, we have finally had a little bit of time to make some photo books and start getting the photos printed and they are even more incredible enlarged in a frame than we could ever imagine. We had the opportunity to work with Wanderlust Photo Co. for our engagement photos and wedding, and it was hands-​down one of the best decisions we could have made throughout the planning process. Some people are just gifted with a creative eye and mind; Brandon is one of those people. The photos he takes are SO much more than photos. He has a way of looking at things from a unique perspective, and it is evident. One of the things we love about his style of work is that nothing is cookie-cutter.When we were looking at different photographers, we noticed that some of them just took the same old wedding photos, that — truth be told — anyone could take. You won’t get that with Brandon. You really do get photos that are reflective of your personality; they tell a story that is all your own. Not to mention, he has this mastery of light that is insane. If you look at the pictures he takes, you’ll see what we mean. If you work with Wanderlust Photo Co., you won’t regret it. You’re not only getting a vendor, but you’re getting someone who becomes truly invested in your wedding and marriage, which is something we came to recognize as invaluable. We’d recommend his work to anyone.

Out of the many vendor decisions we made in the course of planning our wedding, choosing our photographer was the first one. We knew from the moment we saw Brandon’s photos on his website — by mere chance, in the course of researching potential venues — that this was the style we wanted to document our day, and a quick intro conversation was enough to seal the deal. It was that simple :)
From there on, every moment of working with Brandon was a pleasure. Coordinating what we wanted was incredibly easy. During our actual celebrations, he blended in seamlessly, made us feel really at ease, and was overall a joy to have around.
Now, with our wedding over, we are left with absolutely incredible photos to serve as the record of those crazy days. Brandon got us our shots even more quickly than we expected, and they are everything we could have asked for — abundant, beautiful, and unique. I really don’t even know how he got many of those shots, but we will treasure them for the rest of our lives.

I mean, this is a no brainer. Brandon and Erin are AMAZING, period. Our friends and family are blown away by our wedding pictures. They made ordinary photos into extraordinary memories, and we couldn’t say thank you enough. in addition to having incredible creative senses, they are professional, patient, and fun to be around. They stayed the entire time for our long day (starting at 7:30AM until midnight) and never complained… and not sure if they even took a break! There is no question that Brandon and Erin love what they do! Also, they are just the most adorable couple. Highly, HIGHLY recommend them!

We love Brandon and Erin! We haven’t gotten our wedding photos yet (the wedding was last weekend) but I know from our engagement shoot that they’re going to be incredible. Brandon and Erin are delightful to be around, positive, funny, and their work is incredibly special. We highly recommend them!

Just a disclaimer — I have not seen any of the photos yet (the wedding was just on Friday), so this review just speaks to working with Brandon & Erin (I’ll update once we see the photos!)
There’s really nothing more to say that is not already in the other reviews, Brandon & Erin are amazing! Such a joy to work with, from the initial email inquiry to the day-​of, no hiccups, no concerns, not a negative thing to say. SUPER responsive, and I could tell just emailing around with Brandon that I was going to love working with them.
The ladies spent most of the day with Erin, and she brought such good energy, her presence just added to the whole experience. She made everyone feel so relaxed and comfortable, blended right into the background when she needed to, directed and got these moving when it was called for, and contributed to more than a few laughs.
I could gush on and on, but basically, Brandon & Erin are a dream to work with. I can’t imagine that the day could have gone any better if we had chosen any other photographers.

We worked with just Erin on our wedding day, and she was AWESOME!!!
It literally could not have gotten any better. We had a tiny wedding at Holman Ranch, and by tiny I mean groom, bride, our daughter, and both of our mothers (who weren’t initially invited, but came anyway ha).
My husband and I really didn’t know everything we should be doing or where we should be going, which Holman lacked at helping us with. BUT that was OK because Erin was on it. She knew the venue, she walked us through pretty much our entire wedding it was awesome. She even helped us set up a few decorations! I mean, that’s not in the job description, but she was glad to help. Ha and right before I was about to walk down the isle and I forgot the ring — she ran and got it for me :)
There really aren’t enough positive words to share that could describe how good of a job she did, and how she effortlessly went above and beyond to help make our day special. If she wasn’t there we would have been lost.
This isn’t even speaking to the wonderful photos she took, which we can’t WAIT to see :)
The service that Erin and B&E provide is far beyond what I know other photographers would offer. I would recommend them to anyone, and even though I’m not from the area I would use them again just visiting with family. Erin and B&E are just fantastic!

Brandon and Erin are absolutely amazing! We used them for our engagement photos and wedding and I could not be happier. They were so much fun to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable. Our shoot at pfeiffer beach came out simply stunning and I can’t wait to see the shots in the street on Cannary Row! It was awesome having both of them there so they could shoot different angles simultaneously. I will definitely travel to Monterey to use them for future family photos etc, they were amazing!

Brandon & Erin are fantastic. As a couple who are terrible at pictures (really, there are basically no pictures of us prior to our wedding in existence), we weren’t totally sold on the idea of photographs. Everyone explained you needed your wedding documented and we found ourselves having coffee with Brandon & Erin. Working with just Erin on our wedding day was amazing – she was funny, entertaining, and totally non obtrusive. We have gotten about a million and one compliments on photographs that truly captured how much fun everyone was having; and that was really thanks completely to Erin. Guys, you rock! Thanks so much :)

You only get one shot at getting the perfect pictures on your wedding day and by working with Brandon and Erica you can be sure to get that. Having them both shooting our wedding was amazing in that it allowed us to get pictures of things happening simultaneously (i.e. both the girls and guys getting ready, the ceremony guests arriving and the bridesmaids/​myself getting ready to walk down the aisle, etc.). I also provided a list of pictures that I wanted to make sure to get and they delivered with every single one (and so many more). They were both great at getting my guests and wedding party out of their shell and in lots of pictures. They truly want to get to know their clients, and I am so glad that I was able to work with them and will be reminded of the great experience every time I look at our wedding (and engagement) pictures.

Brandon took the photos for my business website… as I am pretty camera shy (and some of them were family pics with my four kids — hard to get everyone to smile at once), he had quite a task ahead of him.

Brandon was really helpful over email, prompt to respond and happy to help answer our questions. We had a quick chat to go over some things and we were set!
Erin took the photographs on the day and was a delight! She captured some lovely moments, which was extra challenging, as we were on the side of cliff. I’m pretty sure she got involved in some serious rock climbing and was so happy to do it. She was really unobtrusive during the ceremony, but captured everything we wanted.
The photos are lovely and really captured the feeling and energy of the day. She did a great job in capturing the amazing scenery. They rushed a few photos to us also, so we could take them back to show our families in the UK. Everyone was amazed by them!

Brandon and Erin at B&E Photographs are the best! We were referred to them through a family friend when we got engaged and they shot our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. We couldn’t be happier with the turnout! They are both kind, easy going and amazing photographers. They don’t require a time limit but rather will stay as long as they need to to capture every moment which is a HUGE plus. And their prices are extremely competitive! They worked with us on every detail down to the fly aways on my hair. Not only are they married, but having two photographers gives you different angles and shots in every photo which gives you a variety of styles. It was so nice on our wedding day that I had Erin with me shooting us getting ready and Brandon with my husband doing the same. Brandon took our photos for our daughter’s one year birthday. There were shots of her and our family. I had ideas for the shoot and Brandon did an excellent job making my vision happen. The honest and most amazing thing was that he really captured the spirit of my daughter in her pictures. Something I see in her everyday but not always in pictures. They are gorgeous pictures and perfect colors. I look forward to many more family picture sessions ahead!

I love B&E Photography. For a long time, I would just look at all their photos online and wish I had a reason to get photos done with them. When I found out I was pregnant, I immediately knew I wanted them to help me announce my big news. It was an wonderful experience. They are incredibly easy people to talk to, and when I explained my vision of the photos, they went with it and went all out to make my dream happen. The actual photo shoot was fun and exciting, and even though the weather wasn’t great, the photos turned out amazing. I was so proud to show my friends their work. I want them to take all my photos because they’re great to work with and always produce awesome stuff.
