Instant Process Service

The prices were so good, I was concerned, I needed a document filed at the family law court the next morning. I spoke with Melinda on the phone she assured me it would get done. The next day she called left a message it was done, but I wanted the copy of the Stamped copy from the court. Which was in my instructions. At first she only sent me a copy of the instruction sheet at 5:30pm. I sent her another email requesting what I had asked for to be sent. The next day, Saturday, at 3pm, she called me and asked if I received it. I told her no, while I was on the phone she resent it. Yeah, it was what I needed.
I am grateful that I got it. I was worried I would not after reading other post. Melinda told me she didn’t know why the first time she tried only the instruction sheet was sent to me.
This type of work is all about the details and making sure everything is done with the follow up. Thank you Melinda for calling me on a Saturday and taking care of this matter. I hope you will be able to keep improving your service. I will use you again as needed.

I was very pleased with the timely process serving. I had a deadline and they were able to meet it. I would definitely use them again if I ever need court documents served to a difficult person.

Here is an update since my last review. stars goes to Fitzpatrick because he got the papers served and that was important to me, but it does me no good if I don’t have the proof of service right. So I’m about 4 days away from my court day and no call from this place. I called them to find out the status. They told me both parties were served the week before and the day before this call. Ok then why didn’t you call me? So now I get only one proof of service paper 2 days before the court. Starting to sweat a little. I wait the day before and nothing. So now the day of court which is at 5:30 pm night court thank goodness. I call them back and talked to a lady. She said she will email it to me. This is at 9am. 4 hours go by nothing. I call back and she says oh I’ll email it right now. I get an email 10 mins later and it doesn’t have the defendant’s name on it. I call back and tell her. She said she will email me the right one right now. 20 mins go by nothing, I call again, she said she had to wait for someone to sign it. She says I’m sending it right now. Guess what 10 mins go by and nothing. You got to be kidding. What is wrong with her? If you have ADD you shouldn’t be working there. If you are busy then communicate with the client! I call back and tell her I am off in 15 minutes I need those papers now since you forgot to mail them to me! She says I’m sending them now. I said fine I am staying on the phone with you so I know you really are this time. She finally did it and I made her wait so I could review it. Yes the job got done and I would still recommend this place, but I have to warn you. You have to stay on top of them to get the job done. So 5 * for the server and 2 * for the lack of communication.

I originally wrote a bad review, and the owner Melinda reached out for a second chance, but nothing has changed with her business practice. I have to constantly have to call to ask for updates on court filings, and everytime she says she will email me and do it right away, and I have to go through the same process again the next week. Just do it, keep your word or don’t even say you will do it at all.

I should have relied on the old posts about this business. I called this compony and Malinda answered the phone, I stated that I needed to have someone served but I was concerned about the low rating post on Unilocal.She stated that they were old posts and that the problems have been «fixed». Since I live in northern California I had to fax the papers to her on 08÷29÷14 and asked to be called upon receipt. Malinda called me before I can get back into my car. That is about the only consistant thing she has done since I have been dealing with her. I have left countless messages for her to call me back, not once has she returned a call. I see the recent reviews and I can’t believe these people are actually happy with her service. I think if your in her area then maybe so, but I noticed if you from out of town you can best to sure your gonna get crappy to no service out of her. Don’t say you were not warned. Even when I told her about the court date being near she just said to get another court date. Yeah thanks for the advice. I’m not paying her for me to hound her down for service she refused to do.

They be on the job. I will always use them anytime I need them. They do a great job for me. I really like their service. Im telling everyone about this guys. Thank u every much for getting the job done.

I wanted everyone to know what a phenomenal job this company did in serving someone for me. The person to be served was ducking service and I had to hire 2 different private investigators and 2 other process servers over the course of 2 months to serve him subpoenas. I had a difficult time locating him and the other servers including the private investigators never got to him because they didn’t have any tactics up their sleeves. They would go to the locations I gave them and speak to people but were never undercover about it which is the reason the person to be served found out and was able to duck service.
When I spoke to Jim at Instant Process Service I told him that he’ll have to meet the person at the super market. Jim waited there undercover for hours and kept in contact with me in a covert mission and when the person finally appeared Jim served him the subpoena. The person tried to say that he wasn’t the person Jim was looking for but Jim dropped service it and said «yes you are».
I was finally able to take it to court and win. It was refreshing to know that their fees were so affordable and they went above and beyond in a covert mission for me when even two other private investigators I hired and two other process service companies couldn’t do the job right the first time.
I highly recommend that if you’re looking for someone that is hard to find or serve that you hire this company. They aren’t scurrrred like every other company I’ve hired.

I hired this firm past. Absolutely disaster. You should keep calling and emailing to get the job done. It was nightmare. Don’t even think of hiring this guy. Terrible.

Got this company from an internet search and I’m not surprised to see poor Unilocal reviews after working with them for the past few months. They made a charge on our company credit card for service on a subpoena that was never completed. I have asked for an invoice or receipt of some kind for MONTHS and have received NOTHING. They do give you the runaround everytime you call or email. I am still waiting for them to serve a wage garnishment — I dont have high hopes on that but we’ll see. I email them at lease 1x/​week & get the same BS every time…
I never understand how such poorly run companies stay in business.

Just made my eighth call to ask for the proof of service I paid for two weeks ago. They insisted they sent it to me twice. I requested they email it to me. When I still did not receive it, I said I would hold while you email it to me. I was on hold for 18 minutes and then heard, «It’s on its way to you… click». Terrible service. Will not use again.

My office uses this company for a lot of serves for the simple fact that they’re cheap & get the job done even on the shortest notice. Most companies charge an arm and a leg for a «rush» serve, but this company doesn’t. I like the fact that they get the job done & even call you after once it has been completed.
The reason behind only giving them 3stars, is because they have a problem on completing their proofs of service. On numerous occasions I’ve had to contact them advising them I have yet to receive the proofs and they ensure me it will go out. I usually never receive it and have to follow up with it about a week later. It takes about 3 – 4 calls/​emails to them for them to finally forward the original proof of service and paid invoice.
I will still continue to use their company however, I’m just just hoping they become organized and can complete their job by sending out the original proof with paid invoice without having a client hound them for it.

I hired this company over 8 months ago. I’ve gotten 3 court dates & they STILL have not served the person in question! after so many promises, NO communication, NO delivery, this is the WORST non professional company I have dealt with. I’m very dissatisfied.
