I recently decided to sell my civic SI because I didn’t drive enough and the insurance was high. With zero motorcycle experience I decided to start shopping for a good starter bike. After checking out the available 2016 I ended up at Harley Davidson Montgomery. From start to finish: Amazing experience as a new rider. Negotiations for the bike were easy, staff was friendly, and I felt zero pressure. You don’t need to be a biker to enjoy a visit to the store. It’s just a cool place with a lot of cool stuff staffed with friendly people. The beginners course is taught well and if you’re a noob like me then I highly recommend it before even buying a bike.

A experience that I never wish to have again. From the moment I opened the doors of this store, I knew I wasn’t welcomed. I went in to make a return of a plain black hat that didn’t fit my head as I wished. The manager accused me of creating the item myself and stated she didn’t want the hat in her store. Now the hat had a HD tag on it, which consisted of a bar code, a price, an item number and the HD quality branded inside the hat. I also had my original receipt in hand with the hat. I also had another store worker roll her eyes at me after looking at my HD shirt and walked away from the counter instead of helping me. Another staff member looked at me three times while I stood before her at the register. She looked but never spoke, even after I said, Hello, I have a return to make. In addition, before leaving this store the manager and store workers made it very clear that the issue had nothing to do with my brand new unworn hat. It had everything to do with me. The only thing I did wrong was proudly walk into Harley Davidson in a small southern town as a BLACK female. I must add that as I turned to walk away, the manager told me to drive safe and her and the other workers began mocking me loud enough for me to hear, since I was still in the store. This store doesn’t represent the HD I know and love. I have never experienced discrimination so blatantly, so boldly and so forcefully. Telling me to drive safe and I’m no where near the exit, doesn’t say anything more than«get out of this store». So I quickly made my way to the door in total amazement and disbelief at what just happened. Lastly, I gave this one star because zero wasn’t an option!!!
