My AC went out last week on a Friday night, but didn’t realize it until after 9pm, the night before the hottest day of the year. I shot Jeremy an email & he got right back to me (after hours I might add) & as a return customer he fit me in first thing the next morning. If you want to be treated quickly and get an honest assessment of your problem, use Harmonic you won’t be disappointed. They even take appointments on Facebook or text! When is the last home services call you set up via text message? Look no further.

MY AC went out and I needed someone to come same day on a very busy and hot day and these guys are not near me, fairly far away. He squeezed me in and I was thrilled, very nice on the phone. I then had a call come through for a local guy to come service this 911 repair and booked him for the sake of time. I called these guys back at Harmonic, actually text’d them to tell them out of courtesy and thanked them very much. The response was gracious and friendly! I was impressed with phone service. I will be calling them again for regular needs!!!

I stumbled across Harmonic maybe a year or two ago after having a ultra bad experience with another local HVAC company who actually made fun of me for buying a $ 250 thermostat instead of just helping me install my Nest. Harmonic consists of a team of super friendly young guys who are all about the latest technology, so we jived well right off the bat. When my furnace died earlier this week, they were the first people I called.
Turns out the problem was with my blower motor, which they were more than happy to replace for me, but I fully realized with how old my furnace was all I was doing was applying a very expensive band-​aid to a much larger, totally inevitable problem. I knew when I bought my house it had an ancient furnace from the 80’s, so I’ve been planning for this day for quite a while. Without much hesitation, I signed on for the full enchilada of replacing my dead furnace, dying AC, and finally ditching my janky humidifier that I have to refill multiple times a day for a automatic full-​house humidifier– I even sprang for their air purifier. Go big or go home, right?
Once I agreed to the quote and we scheduled the install, Harmonic actually did me a huge solid– I had all my warm blankets and space heaters out and was already coming to terms with the idea of being supremely cold until they could come back a couple days later with the new furnace, but they actually ended up just putting in a loaner blower motor for free, which they then just took back when they hauled my old furnace out.
Totally unexpected for them to be willing to do that, but totally awesome. (I actually ended up writing a check as if they had done the blower motor replacement service instead, which they gave back to me when they returned for the install in case I changed my mind.) This kind of stuff always makes me super loyal to repair guys, as they TOTALLY could have been like, «Yeah well if you want your heat working TODAY, it’ll be $XXX, or you can just be cold!» When it’s in the single digits with a snowstorm inbound, an unscrupulous repair guy would totally have you by the you-know-what’s on that, and it’d probably even have worked.
Anyway, they came back a couple days later, and that morning as I was moving stuff away from my furnace I noticed my water heater was ALSO leaking. (Bad things happen in threes, like they say.) So, what was just an AC and furnace install turned into an AC, furnace, and hot water heater. Jeremy and his two guys, Tony and Brandon, spent the whole day ripping out all my old and busted stuff and replacing it with new hotness. (Literal hotness, as, man, having a new furnace is nice and toasty.)
Later that night, the PEX tube feeding the humidifier somehow popped off, which I was able to catch pretty quickly and turn off. I texted Jeremy at around 11:00 PM not really expecting any kind of response right away and instead was met with a profuse apology, offering to send a cleaning service (It’s just a little water, it’s fine!), and to have his guys come out first thing the following morning to fix it.
Bright and early, Tony shows up again to make a couple tweaks, and aside from that minor bump in the road which was fixed practically immediately, everything went awesome. I can’t wait to get my first gas bill to see how much of a difference a two-​stage furnace and new water heater make (same goes for an electric bill and the AC).
The price they quoted was good considering they install all name brand stuff between Trane, Honeywell, and Rheem, and any charges for labor were well worth it as everything looks so much neater and nicer than the mess I had in my basement before. They even moved my water heater for me to a much more sensible place, which is going to make refinishing (or, more accurately, *talking about* refinishing) my basement that much easier.
Overall, great service from a great company staffed by great guys. They know their stuff too, ask Jeremy any random question about anything to do with HVAC stuff and he’ll give you an answer that’s so comprehensive it’s incredible. HOPEFULLY with all this new stuff I don’t see the dudes at Harmonic for a very long time (maybe for beers, not for furnaces!), but I’ll definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs anything HVAC related done in the future.

When you get an honest professional to show up, not over-​charge you, who takes there time to do quality work and explain things, you have Harmonic. We had called around to several people and the first guy we had come out just seemed far too interested in selling to us. Within 2 minutes of being in our home he was already trying to sell and gave us the carbon monoxide fear speech. We found harmonic and after a phone conversation with Jeremy, my Wife and I had decided on them. Despite the other guy being cheaper in the end you get what you paid for! The service was top notch, their work was flawless and clean, and above all else they were just trustworthy. Also, we found out that the carbon the other guy was so worried about and said he had to «shut down» our heat in the dead of winter because it was poisoning was a complete lie. Our heater started to make weird noises, scheduled a service with Harmonic, using their online scheduler. Jerry showed up on time, and found out that we had an unusual problem but he was creative enough to resolve the issue. I would certainly do business with him!

I decided that it’s time to replace the 14-​years old furnace and AC (the immediate reason was that the control board was dying). I found HH&AC through Unilocal.Most of companies with a high Unilocal rating do not serve Geneva. I called to Jeremy and two other companies who did (dealers of Carrier and Lennox). The price was the same within $ 100, but I liked much more to deal with Jeremy: very clear answers, quick answering to e-​mails, readiness to spend time for explaining options/​benefits etc. Also, he offered 5-​year labor warranty with no strings attached (other company required twice-​a-​year service $ 65/​piece, while I have never serviced my old unit).
All went as scheduled, even faster than promised. I am happy with HH&AC work, like the new furnace (and hope to enjoy AC in summer), and it was fun to chat with Jeremy.

After an entire summer with my A/​C broken, I finally bit the bullet and called to have my system repaired. I feared that I was looking at a new blower in the $ 5 – 600 range and I dreaded the thought.
I called Jeremy and left a message detailing what the situation was and asking for a call back. He called shortly thereafter and apologized for not picking up originally but explaining that he was busy on another job. He was patient and let me tell him what was going on without interrupting. He told me that it was likely the blower and quoted me a cost range, sight unseen based on my neighborhood and the model of my furnace, that was about average from what my research had suggested. I made an appointment with him and waited out my last hot, humid weekend.
Jeremy called to let me know that he might be 30 minutes late but arrived on time, neatly dressed and proceeded to inspect my system, in a meticulous and confident, professional manner. He told me that he thought it might be a much less expensive part, a certain capacitor on the circuit board, made the repair and violà, my A/​C was back on. He could easily have sold me a new blower at 4x the cost, but he didn’t and in fact, he didn’t try to upsell me at all. He only spoke of upgraded equipment in response to a question of mine. A courteous, professional expert, Jeremy spent 15 minutes afterward answering all of my questions related to my home A/​C and other HVAC questions. A fantastic experience. I will never call anyone other than Jeremy for my HVAC needs.

We had Jeremy come out and do a check up on our A/​C unit and install a UV filter. He took time to explain how the UV filter works, the benefits, etc. I was very happy with his service and I would highly recommend him.

Quote: Decent, I searched 12 companies and Harmonic’s was he in the bottom 25% and he was able to quote over the phone (3 of the companies I searched would not offer this… disappointing). Most importantly, he was punctual. When you schedule a quote, visit, or install, plan on Harmonic being there 15 minutes early.
Price: Accurate to the quote. Harmonic did not try to up-​sell and in fact recommended a mid-​grade model rather than a high-​grade for my needs. As a measure of Jeremy’s honesty, I asked for him to hook up my humidifier to my Nest thermostat. He quoted me an extra $ 250, which I thought was fair, based on the wall drilling, attic crawling, and line running that he would have had to do. He ended up not having to run wires because there were existing wires in place (unbeknownst to me). He let me know and hooked it up for no charge.
Specialty Knowledge: Jeremy owns the business. When you call you will be talking directly to him. I had ~10 questions lined up for each one of the companies I searched: Brands, Price, Installation, Licensing & Insurance, Date of Install, Labor Costs, Payment Options, etc… Only two of the companies I researched actually took the time to discuss. Tess @ Air Repair Heating & Air Conditioning, and Jeremy @ Harmonic. I went with Harmonic because Air Repair Heating offers Rheem which is inferior to the Trane systems offered by Harmonic, with similar pricing. I was on the phone with both of these companies for at least 30 minutes having all my questions answered.
Service: I have no complaints. His team was efficient, punctual, clean, and courteous. On the date of install He showed up in his company vehicle, followed directly by a company truck. Five minutes later, while I was on my way out the front door, another truck showed up with both the units. Like clockwork folks… Both units were installed in ~6 hours (mind you, my house is a single story ranch with little/​no modifications needing to be done)
Website: Excellent presentation and ease of use. One thing that did turn me off was the lack of «NATE Certification» that some other companies seemed to take pride in. This bothered me at first, but after talking with Harmonic over the phone, I was completely at ease. Also I know Trane, Carrier, and other top brands are very selective about who they allow to install their products.
Advice: Do your homework, compile your questions, create an excel spreadsheet, pick the company that meets your price point and expectations. Call Jeremy @ Harmonic last, and see how he stacks up, then choose Harmonic…
End Result: Ice cold air, Fair price, Excellent Service, Happy Homeowner.

Like many of the reviewers here, I based my decision to call Jeremy from his stellar reviews. It is well deserved. He is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. When I called I had done some basic troubleshooting of my dead AC condenser that I read about online and watched Youtube videos on. He gave me some tips of things to try to figure out the root cause.
When it came time for the unit to be replaced he verified that the unit was indeed in need of replacing by doing some tests, just in case there was an alternate a cheaper fix. He put in a new Trane unit and had the work done in a just a few hours and everything is working great! Couldn’t be happier.

Jeremy and his team were excellent! I called for a quote and 1 hour later he was at our house. We are first time home buyers and needed new system installed in the house. Jeremy was very professional, gave us so much information on the option we have. Price is very reasonable, and product is excellent. By the time he was done working you wouldnt know someone was in the house at all, they cleaned so nicely after themselves. Really impressed with their services and would absolutely recommend them.

My experience with Jeremy from Harmonic was excellent all around. We had our air conditioner unexpectedly break on us, so I immediately started to get quotes from local highly rated vendors. I probably contacted 6 or 7 different vendors and Jeremy from Harmonic was the easy choice. He was prompt, courteous, extremely informative, and priced very well. This guy seriously ROCKS! He is friendly, on time, personable and most important TRUSTWORTHY.
He does a great job explaining things and really does his best to make sure the customer is happy. He also is very much in tune with current technologies and strategies. I also found his pricing to be fair.
After hooking up my whole home humidifier to my nest thermostat he called me a couple days later just to check in and make sure everything was working well. He even offered to help with drywall patching which was certainly outside of the scope of what I would expect.

Harmonic provided fantastic service in a timely fashion! Our humidifier was 25 years old and finally died. Jeremy had great reviews, so we called and arranged an appointment. He was right on time, a few minutes early in fact :) His pleasant nature, excellent customer service and work ethic made him a joy to do business with. By the way, the price was right too! We had been quoted well over $ 1,100 from other companies, and without telling him that, he came in significantly under. Also if you prefer, he will communicate via text message, big fan! Stop comparing and call Harmonic right away!
