Mother’s Day brunch was very disappointing. Service was slow, restaurant was too cold, food was not replenished in a timely manner at buffet. Our request for a condiment which was empty at the buffet was not met until the second request was made 15 – 20 minutes later. I tend to dislike buffets and this experience did not change my mind. Granted, there were a lot of people there, but if you can’t handle a buffet for that many people, don’t host it. I would have much preferred ordering off the menu. This was our first visit. We won’t be back.

We visited this restaurant last minute during restaurant week. The restaurant itself was clean and attractive despite it being very busy. My only complaint was noise level due to us being situated between two large loud tables. We had 3 course menu if ahi tuna, filet and bread pudding for myself, buckeye brownie for my BF. Everything was presented well and tasted great. The timing if the courses was just right. We were not asked if we wanted coffee with dessert and it was a little hard to flag our waiter down. We left very content all in all which was not our experience at a local establishment around Valentines day serving a special menu.

I did not enjoy my dinner at all. I had French Onion soup which was good, but that’s about it. I had fish tacos. I can’t believe someone in charge at the restaurant thinks that they can serve something as poorly put together as that. The entrees are overpriced. Craft beer selection is not as good as most places but they did have a few. Overall-not impressed. I am 100% sure I will not be back.

Our host for my visit to Cincinnati really loves this place. He has his business lunches/dinners here and so far during the trip, he took us to places which were absolutely amazing and Cincinnati traditions. So, when he recommended this place, we nodded in agreement and tagged along. Place was packed Wednesday night. We hung out at the bar for a little while, and headed out to our table after finishing a drink each. The bar area is too congested. There were no bar stools available, and patrons were walking back and forth in an aisle not meant to accommodate 2 bodies at a spot at the same time. However, this is a better alternative to making people wait outside, I guess? I had the following: Vodka Martini w/no Olive. Stone Creek Combo: –6 Oz Filet Mignon Medium well, and –Lump Crab Cake for the 2 entrée’s. –Dirty Wild Rice, and –Lobster Mac & Cheese as the two sides. Brownie Sundae Our table ordered other stuff(Calamari appetizer, sushi appetizer, Steak entrée’s) Pros: Barry the Bartender made a mean Martini. The place was crowded, but he kept the drinks coming. Brownie Sundae is one of the best desserts I ever had. I could have eaten couple more of these bad boy’s. I highly recommend this. Share it with your table if you think it is too many calories, but it is a must try!(+2) The complimentary bread with the spice powder in Olive oil dip was unique. The oil dip sauce was quite delicious. This is a must try too!(+1) Beautiful view all around. Place was bright. This is always one of the issues that I have had fine dining joints. They tend to be very dimly lit. Not Stone Creek. Very nice.(+1) Filet Mignon was different. It was perfectly cooked to my Medium well request. Dirty rice was different and was good. Cons: Our waitress kind of disappeared on us a few times. We were waiting for a good 5 minutes for her to show up and take our dinner order. This should not have happened at a very nice restaurant like this.(–2) No Valet parking. Parking in the underground structure is limited. However, there is lot of parking in neighboring streets. Dinner portion was not enough for the price.(–1) Maybe the service was a one off blunder on the waitress’s part. I tend to eat a lot, so the portion might be my personal preference. Without these 2 cons, this restaurant is actually very very good. The atmosphere was exciting, and menu is unique! I recommend trying this restaurant out if you are in Cincinnati.

We used Stone Creek Dining Company to cater a client open house and it was an extremely unpleasant and unprofessional experience. We consistently had to remind them of the correct date, which should have been the first red flag. One of my coworkers went to pick up the food at the scheduled time and was told it was«almost ready», only to later be informed that it was nowhere near being ready. The food ended up arriving an hour late. That’s completely unacceptable. When the food did arrive, it was a bit underwhelming. We ordered the Caribbean jerk chicken skewers, stuffed mushrooms, and barbecue pork wontons. The wontons were well-received but the rest of the food was just okay. It certainly wasn’t worth the money we paid. The chicken and wontons were also supposed to come with sauces and we were never given any. When we called to mention it, they told us that we were somehow misinformed. Overall, it was a disaster. I can’t speak to their dining experience, but we would absolutely not recommend their catering services.

We had a great dinner here last Saturday! We made reservations and were glad we did — the place was packed! We arrived a little before our reservation and grabbed a drink at the bar. There were a lot of tvs to watch the football game, which my fiancé appreciated. It also looked like the bar was full service, too. We were seated in a comfy booth for our meal. The booths have very high walls so lots of privacy, and it is pretty dimly lit, which gives a romantic feel. My fiancé ordered the duet plate with steak and mahi mahi while I ordered the cod sandwich. My cod sandwich was AWESOME. It tasted very fresh and was on a great bun with crispy lettuce and tomato. My fiancé had a great meal, too. At first, his steak was brought out and was very clearly very well done. Almost charred and no juices at all(he ordered it medium). We grab the waitress and she was so apologetic and replaced it right away. Actually, 2 waiters and the manager all stopped over to apologize. The manager brought out his next steak. It was a very high level of customer service — you could tell they really care. Overall, a great meal!

Such a great place. It’s in a very cute area, and the atmosphere is very cool and relaxed. The food is excellent — I have never had a bad meal here. I have yet to try their signature Bru Burger but that is definitely next on my list. Had their chocolate mousse last night, and it was fabulous! Can’t wait to go back.

Love going to a girls night at Stonecreek. My only reason for not giving it five stars, is because usually the server is not the best. My favorite is the salmon salad, which is no longer on the menu, but you can still ask for it.

Great service and great food. The shrimp appetizer was so good. I would also recommend the pork chop and au graten potatoes.

Went to this place due to our first choice being too busy and we were lucky to go here! Ok I know this is going to be sad but my favorite part about the meal was the bread with the olive oil. Everything else was pretty good and the ribs were actually the 2nd best ribs I have ever had at a restaurant.

The food is outstanding. Starting with the bread, delicious with the oil mixture, just amazing. I ordered the black and blue salad which was easily the best I have ever had. My husband had Floro Salmon and he said it was delicious. My husband is very fussy and hard to please so this is a huge compliment coming from him. To top it all off, the service was outstanding. Yes, we will be back for sure.

Three of the seven people that I dined with were served the wrong meal, and none were offered compensation. Many of the items which were suggested by the server, were either burnt, over cooked, or just terrible. I will not return.

I have no issues with this place. The staff was friend, attentive and open to discussing they’d recommend on the menu. The prices are reasonable, wine list good and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Have no concerns about going here and enjoying it.

Due to the rain cancelling our outdoor plans we found ourselves with a babysitter and no idea where to go. Our West Side friends let us choose as we were on the East Side of town. Stone Creek was the winner– and so were we! The wait was shorter than the amount of time it took to order and pay for one round of drinks. Our server was very friendly and quick to get our appetizers and bread to us. The bread and oil dip are really good. A little unexpected spice. The app we ordered had 3 dips– spinach, guacamole and hummus. All were good but the hummus was the favorite by the entire table. We ran out of pitas for it and they quickly brought us more. All of our food came out quickly and cooked as we had requested. My husband lost his mind when he realized the dirty rice had bacon in it!(In a good way– but be careful if you don’t eat pork as this wasn’t advertised) Ribeye wasn’t fatty, seafood was fantastic and the server gave is a free dessert which was so nice! She worked hard for a good tip and she got one. The mashed potatoes were cold but I didn’t care because there was too much food and they were low on my list of priorities. Great food, excellent service and we felt great about recommending it for the change in our night out.

Wonderful food. From the Ahi appetizer to the bread and oil to entrees. Service was amazing and environment was beautiful. Seating was a little cramped but worked.

Bread & dipping sauce — unique and LOVED it French onion soup — so yummy, one of the best I’ve had. Seared ahi tuna — good, and just the same as most ahi tuna turns out Smothered chicken — while good, not very ‘wow’, same with sides of chefs veggie of the day and the white cheddar au gratin potatoes Chicken Scaloppine — tasty but nothing wow worthy either I did enjoy how the waiter shook my martini and then poured it in front of me.

Very average… Ambiance is upscale with a very corporate feel to it. The bar was definitely a local scene, lots of energy but a great deal of noise as well. We were there for a business dinner and the acoustics weren’t great but I’m sure if we had requested a quieter table, we would have been accommodated so shame on us. We ordered the spicy shrimp and tuna appetizers for a party of 3. The portions were very generous but the food itself, especially the shrimp, was extremely bland. The pork tenderloin entrée was decent, the black bean purée upon which it sat was absolutely delicious, just not plentiful! Service was ok, a bit on the slow side. One of my dining partners said he would return but it’s not a place I would rush back to any time soon…

My friend and I stopped at Stone Creek for lunch while in the area. The atmosphere was somewhat elegant, but at the same time welcoming and comfortable. Service was fantastic. I am in the midst of the Whole30 program, so eating out can be rather challenging. Our server was knowledgeable and accommodating, as was the kitchen. I had the Seven Fields Green salad with grilled chicken added. Since I cannot have sugar or dairy, I used vinegar and oil, and left off the cheese. Our server offered regular pecans in lieu the the candied ones, which was much appreciated by me. I was surprised at how good the salad was and did not feel as though anything was missing!

Service was excellent. Food was good. Filet was cooked properly, sirloin was over. Scallop was excellent, as was the ahi tuna. Parmesan risotto was my favorite. Unfortunately both plates of veggies were undercooked. Would definitely go back to try more of the menu.

I want so badly to love this place. When they are on their game they blow me away. The trouble I am finding they are more often than not struggling to deliver. When you walk in the front door it would almost be impossible to not feel excited about the next hour or so thats in front of you. The place looks amazing. The atmosphere is what keeps drawing me back here, well, and the food. The food can be very good. Bar — They have what I consider a very good wine list. They have a reasonable number of wines available by the glass and a nice bottle selection. We opted for the Alexander Valley Cabernet. We hadn’t met our server yet so the manager took that order for us. He also delivered it, opened, and poured it. He was very nice. Food — I will start with the food because it was the better part of the evening, at least for me. I was the only one that opted for a house salad. I got the Mediterranean dressing and added blue cheese crumbles. YUM! That was a great salad. I ordered the braised short ribs with a cabernet demi glaze, horseradish mashed potatoes, and sautéed green beans. Short ribs — AMAZING, green beans — very good, mashed — ICK. They were dry and crumbly. I was really looking forward to those too. My wife and father in law got the filet, both ordered medium well(as I sigh), one came out very well done and the other was mooing. My mother in law got the chicken parmesan and said it was just ok. Thats tough to take when you bill is creeping up on $ 200. Service — I was immediately concerned when they seated us because they had a table of about 20 people just getting ready to order. You don’t just show up with a group like that so I figured the restaurant was well aware and prepared for it. Not true. We sat for probably 10 minutes before we even got acknowledged. It wasn’t even our server, it was the manager. He said«I noticed you have been sitting here a while, how about I go get you some waters» I thought that was nice but if you noticed that, why didn’t you just bring them? haha The manager was very nice and we probably saw more of him than we did our server. That caused a little bit of confusion because he would ask if we needed anything but then would relay that to the server or someone else. That person would then come and ask us if we needed anything. Our server was extremely friendly, she just was never there for us. I was trying to defend the restaurant to my family as we left but they weren’t having it. They let a large group throw things off for the entire night. They weren’t prepared. Overall — If you haven’t been here you really should try it. Most times I have been here I am reasonably satisfied. I leave questioning if I will be back but I always manage to find my way here. This was our first return visit in about a year because our last visit was sort of rocky too. It has potential to be a regular for us.
