I bought two, used, velvet, yellow settees that were in desperate need of cleaning. There were stains, discoloration from sun, rust coming from the tufted buttons, and a stale smell from storage. The sales rep was friendly, answered all my questions, noted my instructions and gave me an accurate quote. I paid $ 10.00 per foot so each sette cost me $ 40.00 to clean. The chemical cleaning took out most of the stains and evened out the discoloration. What was left is hardly noticeable. The settees smell clean and fresh. The velvet was initially stiff from the chemical cleaning and drying but returned to its natural softness after some use.
