Doctor Bhoot is such an amazing and knowledgable doctor. He knows his job and on top of that he has the best personality that you wont find in many doctors nowadays. On the first day i went to him i knew that i am in good hands. I got a broken needle stock in my foot deep and he was able to get it out and now i am in recovery hopefully everything goes well. Thank you doctor. Forgot to mention the staff how friendly they were. You will really feel welcomed in his office.

I know all the best surgeons in this area, and when I had to have my bilateral inguinal hernia surgery I chose Dr. Bhoot and he did laparoscopic bilateral inguinal hernia surgery at Glendale Memorial Hospital. The best doctor for barriatric surgery you can find. I have had my surgery now for 2 years and I have lost over 250lbs with continuing weight loss. Dr. Bhoot is very supportive, encouraging and gives the best advise to continue on the weight loss journey. All you have to do is listen to him and follow instructions. The surgery works and his method of the procedure is truly remarcable. I would do this again with Dr. Bhoot but glad I dont have to do this over because once was a success. Thank you Dr. Bhoot.

If the ongoing process of my treatment is as good of an experience as my first visit with Dr Bhoot this morning, then I will be more than lucky.
In just a brief moment it became clear that Dr. Bhoot is an exceptionally tender physician.
And he listened to me.
And when he was done listening to me, he explained my treatment plan so well to me
that I now have all the confidence I need to move forward with treatment.
His office staff was just as warm and welcoming. And were extremely accommodating getting me a same day appointment (when does THAT happen??)
I feel blessed to have found them all.

Dr Bhoot was the experience I was looking for. After reading so many positive Unilocal reviews I set up an appointment. After a quick drive to Montrose (great for the motorcycle) I met Dr Bhoot and his friendly staff. I had a herniated stomach that has been hell. Baking soda and all my usual remedies weren’t working anymore. Dr. Bhoot has seen it all and diagnosed it pretty quick. As you do, I still had to have a few preliminary exams from specialists to be sure.
All along the way people told me that the surgery brings a feeling of new life. I really don’t know life without regulated pain so I was excited. Dr. Bhoot is also a teacher so he explains thing very well. He passionate about his work and you can see he loves to help people. It’s cool.
The procedure is easy. Woke up in a bed just a little sore and having my wife ask me a lot of questions I wouldn’t know because I was unconscious. They have to keep you overnight just incase. After Dr. Bhoot came to check on me and saw that I was well he sent me home. Hope you like soup cause that all you get for a while. But you’ll loose weight! That’s a plus…
I look forward to the few more follow up visits I have with Dr. Bhoot. I’m healing well and he continues to educate me with pictures, diagrams and even videos of similar surgeries. It’s alway a pleasure.
The long and short of it is… if your looking for a good Dr. who doesn’t have to worry about making rent for their Beverly Hills office, go to Dr. Bhoot. He’s a friend.

I went to the doctor while experiencing pain in my abdomen. He seemed VERY uninterested when i was explaining my symptoms which i was confused about. He scheduled 2 unnecessary procedures for me to do and didnt give me anything to manage my pain. It seemed to me that he was taking light of my situation. I thought i had an ulcer i was in so much pain. I concluded that he understood what was wrong with me by the way he was smirking. I had just severe heartburn but he didn’t tell me that at any point even after i went to the hospital to get the procedure.
The staff told me to wait for their call and not go to the hospital until i get their call. The next day but no one called. When i called the day after i was told to go to the hospital to get it done.
The doctor was about to travel and couldn’t care less to tell me what the results meant. Until this day i have not gotten the results for the test. The doctor refused to give it to me until he does the second more expensive procedure. Which i had to pay for because it wasn’t on my insurance and im a student which he knew!
I called the doctor to prescribe something for my pain in the meantime he said. «Oh, u know what! that is a good idea, you should do that it will help your stomach also so the acid isn’t burning your stomach!». He prescribed me patented meds that were extremely expensive. The pharmacy gave me So many different options, some that could be perceived as better even for much less.
I didn’t feel that the doctor cared about me as a patient. He told me he had to travel in 3 days when i saw him. Maybe thats why he couldn’t care less about me being in pain and needing medical attention.
Im glad i got medical attention, but i could have gotten way better care. He seemed like he could be a caring doctor at times, but he treated me like he had dollar signs in his eyes and couldn’t care less about me as a patient or me being in pain. To this day im not sure whats wrong with me and im still trying to manage my pain. What a waste!

Dr. Bhoot saved my life. He performed a 6 hour surgery to fix a mess from a previous surgery, and he was not only technically the best surgeon but also the most carrying that I have ever had or dealt with. I can’t repay him enough for what he has done for me and my family.

Dr. Bhoot has been a great doctor. He’s a fabulous surgeon and performed a life changing operation. Usually for the type of procedure I had you stay in the hospital overnight and leave the next afternoon. The nurse didn’t like my oxygen level and wasn’t sure I should go home yet. Doctor Bhoot came to the hospital on a Saturday the day after my surgery to make sure I was ok and to check me personally that it was safe for me to go home. He has a great personality and I am following his instructions to the T so I will get well and enjoy my new life. He has a wonderful manner and I feel very comfortable with him I found him through his reviews so I wanted to also write a review of how happy I’ve been with him and his staff!!!

I recently had a small surgical procedure done with Dr. Bhoot and I have to say that he made the experience very simple and pleasant. He explained all that he was going to do in terms that were fairly understandable. He did not hesitate to answer my questions and made me feel comfortable. Honestly, 5 stars are not enough to express how well this doctor does his job. By far, the best doctor I have dealt with. Thank You Dr. Bhoot!

Feb. 23, 2014 I had surgery at USC-​Verdugo Hills Hospital, Dr. Nilesh H. Bhoot M.D. was my surgeon. Four days prior to surgery he explain to me in great details in layman, s terms what needed to be done to correct some GI problems I was having. He had excellent bedside manners and I felt very comfortable with him.
After I left the hospital, and during my recuperation, I follow-​up with him once a week in his office in Montrose. He was very attentive to insure my complete recovery.
I would recommend Dr. Bhoot as a doctor and surgeon if you are in need of a specialist in his field of medicine. I believe he would be an excellent choice.
