Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mooresville – Lake Norman

Checked in about 7pm on a Saturday with no reservation with a pet. The front desk was very helpful and friendly, and getting a room was a breeze! Pet fee was $ 25 and there wasn’t too much restriction on where my little guy could go (I know of a few «pet-​friendly» hotels that do not allow pets in the elevators or the lobbies).
Room looked clean and had the usual amenities. Parking was fine for us, but it is a pretty small parking lot. Complimentary breakfast was very nice: had hot breakfast and some yogurt, cereal, etc. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly and enthusiastic.
Note that there is only one elevator and 5 floors, so waiting for it can get very tedious. I’m also not entirely sure how clean the carpets are because I caught my dog attempting to lick it on more than one occasion. :/​
I stayed here because it was pet-​friendly but I would definitely be back if I was in the area again.

We actually didn’t stay bc of a parking issue but the hotel and staff seemed nice. We were pulling a boat and the parking lot was super small. Just a note for other people hauling stuff. They offered parking at the hibachi grill by the dumpster but it seemed to sketchy for us. The girl at the desk was understanding and helpful since we actually checked in and had to cancel after all that.

Clean rooms, easy check in and the best bed I’ve ever slept in! I loved that bed so much I took a picture of the label on the mattress so I could find the same one for home. Pool is nice and clean and open until 11pm! Breakfast was decent and opened at 6am, perfect for hitting the road early. We will definitely be staying here again on our trips down south!

Clean grounds, free parking. Checked in around 9 p.m. And was greeted by a friendly guy at the front desk. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and air worked great. Complimentary breakfast was nice, yogurt, fresh fruit, sausage gravy & biscuits, juices, coffee and eggs. Was supplied pretty quickly when ran out. I would stay here again and as a group of women traveling, felt very safe. I didn’t give 5 stars due to the carpet needing a cleaning. Picky, I know! I know! But overall, god room for the price.
