OK so i have been coming to planet fitness for quite some time at this point so i can rate it honestly. Very clean Facilities and attentive staff makes for a good experience. Equipment is always clean and wiped down. TOns of treadmills which is fine for the dont do anything more then cardio people. They could use a few more 45 plates, Its a little silly when if you lift heavy on legs you can’t find enough plates to get to your desired weight. maybe another 1045’s would be great and please get a preacher bench and attachment station so all the cable attachments arent laying around on the floor.

Just waiting it out for the Cornelius site to open in November. I like this location in Mooresville, the staff is friendly and open to answering my questions. I don’t get to interact with many members here, I’m just 2 weeks into getting back to the gym, but I will say that planet fitness is very clean! The members and staff clean after themselves and I love that!

Dayum! Front desk girl could give Taylor Swift a run for her money! I’m traveling so I just came by for a shower(good pressure, super hot) so I can’t comment much except; 1) front desk blonde with her hair in a bun was model beautiful. Tall, pretty, sweet. 2) Lot of old folks in there around 10am today. No idea why. 3) No hydromassage beds… too bad, I love those. 4) not sure if they have WiFi, I like to check emails after shower. The hours hint toward 24⁄7 which would have been nice to know Sunday night — sit in massage chair room and watch Oscars… Walmart next door has beer and cheetos, right?

They are scammers plain and simple Their game is giving you long unbreakable lawyer like contracts when you sign up. If and when you step out of line their is no leeway. No mercy. No forgiveness. The game is to reel you in thinking it’s a $ 10 a mo gym and that’s it. The separately tiered programs are designed for you to lose. Billing dates, cut offs and yearly«dues» are set up for you to fail and be charged more money. Just look up the complaints for the mooresville location on the better business bureau . If you want a comparison they compare heavily to the company DirecTv. Please google DirecTv billing practices. I know people better than they know themselves. When I got in contact with the manager for the dispute the line of questions and answers was incomplete and evasive. You could easily tell it’s common practice to never refund money ever. The first time corporate fowarded me to the franchise owner. The second time and when I said my complaint went unanswered corporate has not returned me email. This is pretty disturbing considering how large the company is. There is no planet fitness corporate they simply sell the name to franchise owners who set their own shady business practices and do nothing to stand behind the name or customer satisfaction I never put beware in a review I think it’s corny but that best describes this situation mostly due to the fact that they lure in people with their judgement free zone advertising this leads you to drop your guard in the beginning. It’s a very well thought out shady business that’s preying on people in a way.

Okay so I’ve been coming here long enough now and I think I finally need to lunk-up and let loose on a legit review. Four stars. I’m super impressed with Planet Fitness! Gyms these days are, let’s face it, pricey! And not very consistent in quality for price when comparing one to the next. Planet Fitness has certainly been an exclusion to that rule. You mean I can get a gym that’s cleaner, simpler, and all around better than the rest for like…$ 10 a month? Are you serious?! Yeah, PF is serious. They have everything you expect in a standard membership type gym. Rows of treadmills, ellipticals and stationary bikes to get your heart pumpin’. A few of those 4-seaters with different pull weights. Some circuit areas for the«30 minute work-out» body we all want in our lives. An ab-zone. And of course a big free-weight and general weightlifting area. There are literally all types of people working out in here. There’s one thing I think no gym can really get rid of — people looking at, judging and checking out other people. It’s to be expected. Comes with the territory. That aside, PF really is the«judgment free zone» they claim to be. Their staff is friendly and welcoming. There are personal trainers available to guide you through the type of work out you need for your goal self. And on certain days of the month, every month, they have free pizza or bagels — a great way to put back some burned calories(and eat breakfast or dinner on them!). The value for the money is hard to compete with here. I’m still pretty blown away that I get all this for $ 10/month and a $ 30/year fee. I try to make the most of it. The only thing I’d really like to see is some actual guided group work outs(like yoga, kickboxing, etc.) and a movie room with stationary bikes and ellipticals. You can upgrade to a $ 20/month membership and get lots of other bonuses too like massage chairs and tanning beds.
