Our daughter just had the unplugged session for her senior photos ! We were so lucky to have Peter as our photographer. Our daughter is very shy, but Peter and his staff were able to put her at ease and she ended up having the time of her life.
Having four children, I have tried many photographers. Peter is the most professional and energetic artist we have ever worked with. He and his staff carried a huge sofa into the open space just so we could have a photo on it. Peter’s staff is so welcoming and understanding that I won’t be going anywhere else for our photos. My daughter and I had a great experience with Cornerstone. We booked a photo session for senior photos with ease. The session went a little overtime because she and the photographer were having so much fun! The photos turned out beautifully and when we went to view them, Mariann couldn’t have been nicer and was very knowledgeable about their many product offerings. I felt zero pressure to purchase their packages and overall both of us had a really positive experience. They do a good job of keeping their backdrops fresh and up to date. They just added a succulent wall and a new American flag wall that look great in photos.

My family has been photographed by Cornerstone Photography for many years. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! They started shooting my family’s holiday pics when my twins were 4 months old. Recently they shot my twins’ senior portraits and there were SO MANY wonderful pictures! They took extra time to shoot both the girls at the same time, even coming up with a magic wand for my daughter to use in one of her shots! This place is VERY professional and they really care about the quality of the photos and the experience of the customer. When we went through the proofs with their staff they helped us with difficult decisions and assisted with narrowing it down to the top photos to use. There was no pressure, only caring helpfulness. I can’t tell you how happy I am to look around my house and see the images created by Cornerstone Photography. They are priceless memories!

An incredible thank you to Sandy for providing incredible customer service and beautiful photographs. I was disappointed that my daughter’s university did not provide any accommodations for graduating students to take cap and gown pictures. After receiving a referral from a local high school, I called the studio and found Sandy to be so receptive to my request. She made special accommodations and provided efficient and timely service. The pictures were amazing and will provide a lifetime of incredible memories.

Had a terrible experience here. I had to buy my senior’s photos here, & the woman who I met with after the photo session was so rude. I showed her a photo of my other child & she said, «Oh we didn’t do that framing here. We never have that poor quality of workmanship here.» (I didn’t ask her opinion of the frame in the first place) She didn’t go over my options of packages to purchase (I had to ask her to please go over them) she lectured me on the importance of her time & said she only had ½ hr. for me so I had better hurry up & decide which pics I wanted to buy. I had one text come in while I was in her office that I checked quickly she interrupted me & told me not to check my phone again! When I told her I didn’t appreciate being put down & lectured by her she raised her voice & stated that «All her customers think she’s great & she never has anyone tell her anything other than she’s great dealing with us customers»! She proceeded to yell at me loudly & I was so stunned & shocked by her unprofessional attitude & got up & walked out to which she followed me ranting down the hallway. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough & wish our high school didn’t use them ever again it was such a bad experience!

I would love to give zero but that’s impossible after refusing to pay a ridiculous fee for my son to get his yearbook picture this place has made it next to impossible for me to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a couple of senior pictures my willingness to pay $ 250 for the smallest decent size asked packet of picturesjust ended when they would not allow me to simply come in and pay for them I have to wait a month and come in on a Saturday earliest appointment 10 AM to give them this money obviously I’m being punished for not paying the fee upfront and nowI need to wait to give them my $ 250 guess I’ll be shopping elsewhere for a photographer so that I can have this done before my son graduates

Back in August 2013, my son had not only his senior photo taken with Cornerstone but I had also purchased the «Day in the Life» package. This package was nearly an all day shoot both at the studio and at a location of our choice within 20 miles of the studio. I chose the beach because that is where my son is most happy — swimming and surfing. As one can imagine, modeling for an all day shoot for a male is generally not a favorable thing and I was met with a lot of resistance initially. However, photographers Alyson and Brooke made my son feel at ease at the studio and at the beach. Alyson and Brooke really put a lot of effort into the photo shoo and the results were fantastic! The only complaint I had when I first viewed the proofs was which ones to pick because they all turned out great!
Thanks again for the beautiful pictures! They will be enjoyed for generations to come.

Wow. We recently did a family shoot at our school and purchased a big package of prints. I called back to purchase 1 digital print. The person on the phone would only sell me the entire set of digital prints for $ 170. I only needed the 1 photo and, again, I already purchased a package of prints. The customer service was so bad — she basically told me she had no interest in helping me. I guess when you have big school accounts, the individual family doesn’t matter at Cornerstone. My husband works for the school so I’ll be sure to inform them of my bad treatment.

Cornerstone does a great job of taking excellent photos at a reasonable price. Both of my kids have been photographed by Cornerstone, at their schools, for over 5 years. As a PTA member I’m surprised at how Peter and his company put out a quality product while still giving back to the school. My son seldom looks at the camera and to catch him looking at the camera AND smiling is tough. Thanks to the personalities of the photographers, they get a look and a smile every time. Cornerstone also offers family portrait session nights at our school for a school fundraiser. It’s an easy way to donate to your child’s school and get a family portrait. I’m glad to have found Cornerstone!

I have many times commended Cornerstone Photography on their fabulous work, outstanding customer service and professional staff but this time I felt I needed to put it in writing.
My 3 children have been photographed by Peter Lars and his staff for over a decade now and I have always been very pleased with the outcome of their portraits. Their school pictures have always come out wonderful and I have great memories thanks to Peter and his wonderful staff.
I’ve had the opportunity to visit his beautiful studio and was very impressed not only by his awesome work displayed throughout but by his warm and friendly staff.

Peter and his crew always do a great job, not only with the quality of their pictures, but with the quality of their customer service. I feel fortunate that my children’s elementary school contracts with them for school photos… we’ve had great school photos, spring photos, and family portraits taken by them and have been pleased every time. Getting great pictures at affordable prices AND supporting a local business? Even better.

Cornerstone deserves five stars all the way. Recently brought my babies there for their newborn photos. They’re twins and they’re not easy for me to handle, let alone a photography staff.
We arrived and the staff had a waiting room ready for us, plus private changing rooms in case they wanted us to change outfits for one of the shots.
Peter, the photographer, and his stylists/​baby handlers did a marvelous job posing the kids to get the cutest shots from just the right angles. They also have a ton of patience as the kids became fussy on more than 1 occasion during the shoot.
We could tell the staff also does their homework on their photo subjects. They had a darling new wood basket (we joked about the price tag still on it) and a plush blanket to fill it and place the babies on for the quintessential ‘naked baby in a basket’ shot.
At the start, se weren’t sure how many different settings they would put the babies in for different looks to the photos, but in all they set up 4 or 5 unique looks, including an awesome family portrait. Not sure if that’s standard but the photos turned out spectacularly.
Since we had the shoot done just before the holidays, we also had the Cornerstone staff design and put together our Christmas card. Holiday cards are never a competition but ours rocked thanks to Cornerstone. We received countless compliments on it.
We skimmed through some of their portfolio books in the lobby and looks like they do a lot of high school senior photos (hence all the photos on their Unilocal page). We were also impressed with their wedding, engagement and other types of pro photos, too.
Can’t go wrong with Cornerstone. Professional all the way.

I have my daughter’s wedding pictures taken by Cornerstone Photography as well as recently my grandson’s pictures. Both sessions the results were fabulous. I’ve also worked as a school office manager with the staff for many, many years and their customer service was first rate. Don’t look any further if you need professional photos taken.
