Fresh & Easy

I’m so sad to hear that all F&Es will be closing. This was the only place in Moorpark to buy quality produce and vegan products.
Above all, I will miss the phenomenal customer service their employees ALWAYS provided. I hope F&E looks out for these folks who are being let go and I hope wherever they apply they are immediately hired. The staff at this F&E location were and continue to be on point with customer service.
Farewell, woman with the dreadlocks, I wish I knew your name. You always brightened my day. You have an exceptionally positive mental attitude. And also the ginger guy, you were always quick to help us out and get us on our way. Y’all rule!

I used to be a fan but not any more. Their produce selection was once excellent and competitively priced but the quality has dropped while the prices have risen. I still drop by once in a while for a few items but not every week like I used to.

Really upset by my experience tonight. I was literally here five minutes ago and I didn’t want to leave the parking lot until I wrote a review. my friend works here, we just said hi, went our seperate ways and was picking out food. I was holding a salad and the top accidentally popped off and the salad spilled all over. it was completely an accident, and I was embarrassed, so of course I made a big deal about it to my friends. my guess is that we were being too disruptive or because of the salad, but one of the workers told us «so are you guys almost done here?». I was going to buy food, and they just lost my business completely. I get my dinner here a lot, and honestly i’m over it. not only did she embarrass me in front of customers, she also lost a regular customer. I hate to write terrible reviews but I can’t believe my business got turned down because of a simple accident. Would do no stars if I could. Andrew rocks though, and is a great employee.

I really love that this place is open until late. The staff are friendly and helpful. The selection of food is amazing and I always want to buy them for dinner!!! Everything is clean and organized. I love just walking down the aisles to see what I find.
There’s a great selection of healthy snacks and Asian products other stores don’t always have. They have organic ramen noodles! Prices are fair too.
It’s a self check out place, but the staff are always around to help out. This is my favorite neighborhood grocery store.

This location and store is great and clean the prices are higher now that they sold the chain and we don’t come here as often as we used to due to the higher prices, an example of this is; before the current corp owners, at Xmas and Thanksgiving you could get turkeys and hams for $ 10. each. Now its by a 30 dollar ham get one for $ 10.
All the staff are very friendly & helpful! they are always willing to help, bag your groceries for you and lend a hand if you have questions.

If want a prepared meal this is the place from sandwiches to soups they have it all

This location can only sell alcohol until 9:45pm…seriously thats rediculous. Looks like i’m buying my groceries and beer from ralphs accross the street. Thanks for being open till 12am and all but if I canteven get everything I need in one place then why would I go there over Ralphs. Dissapointed

This location and store is awesome! The employees are all so nice, helpful and friendly! I think every single one of them are always willing to help, bag your groceries for you and lend a hand if you have questions. Love shopping here for the yummy pre-​packaged food options and the marked down prices are very nice too! Keep up the good work fresh and easy Moorpark! Thank you all!

I love all the new products you get in almost weekly! I love the marked down veggies and meats! Saves me a lot of money. Can’t wait to try all the new organic vegetarian options. The old company didn’t offer too many of those. Great store

Employees here are great, self-​checkout works fine. Any produce is terrible, fruit or veggies. For context, I say Trader Joe’s, Ralph’s, Albertson’s etc, all are terrible in regards to produce, so Fresh & Easy is on par with them. Must go local for plants.
Again, the remaining store is good and employees are great.
Also, how can anyone give a grocery store 5 stars, like it is an awesome experience? :) Buying groceries isn’t jaw dropping.

Go once or twice and you’ll be pretty familiar with what they have in stock. It’s a relatively small grocery store that is pretty well maintained with helpful staff.
Imo, they could use more selection in the meat department. Occasionally they have promotions for the holiday that can be pretty nice, such as the «grillin pack», a pack of sausages, burger patties, and marinated chicken for $ 5 in the past.
I go because it is local and only when I know what I need is stocked there.

Awesome concept, it has great food, prepared & ready to eat. My grandkids have fun doing our own check out. It has good sale prices.
All the staff are very friendly & helpful, especially «Danielle». She assisted me with a concern i had and resolved it. They all work hard to keep the store clean, well stocked & user friendly. Recently under new management with new changes. Glad the store stayed open, yeah !!!
UPDATE TO THIS POST ON 11÷13÷15 SADLY CORPORATE HAS DECIDED TO SHUT DOWN THE WHOLE COMPANY. TODAY BEING THE LAST DAY, FAREWELL, GOOD LUCK AND BEST WISHES TO THE WONDERFUL EMPLOYEES AT MOORPARK FRESH AND EASY. YOU WERE ALL WONDERFUL AND WE WILL MISS YOU.

Love it! It is clean and not busy.

I really love shopping at this fresh and easy. The store, the groceries and the people who work there all deserve 5 stars, if not more. My only problem is since the store has been bought out, they are not sending out the $ 5, $ 10 or $ 14 off coupons anymore. That was part of the fun of shopping there! The prices are still really good and the produce is always fresh. Everyone who works there is very helpful and friendly and the store is kept well stocked and very tidy. I just wish they’d bring back the coupons!

It’s an interesting paradigm of late… where have all the workers gone? Maybe i’m just old fashioned, but I like talking to a person when checking out at the grocery store. With that said the rest of the store seems to be fine and has a good selection, albeit the produce is mostly pre-​packaged. I get that the mission of this store is to be «quick and easy» but I still prefer Trader Joe’s.

This fresh and easy is so much better than the one in Newbury park! I just moved to Thousand Oaks from La Habra and was looking for a new f&e to go to. I went to the Newbury Park store and two separate employees hit on my girlfriend. They made her very uncomfortable and were also just rude overall and didn’t really seem to care about there customers (unless it’s a cute girl). The staff is way more attentive and helpful at this store, and the overall cleanliness here is much better. This is definitely going to be my new store.

The selection is somewhat limited but their own brand food is pretty good in quality. I only wish that maybe they could work wiyh the local farms to bring better produce.

I wish they Fresh and Easy brand would have more gluten free and peanut free options, I’ve found that I can’t eat anything that’s their brand because all of it «may contain» most of the common allergens.
I’ve also noticed at this particular establishment a couple of the people who work there seem to put off dealing with people of color until after all of the white customers are taken care of.
All and all not the best prices, not the best food, not the best service.

With our coupons our Christmas dinner — a large Ham and all the fixings-​was about $ 13.You can’t beat that deal anywhere.
I love the self service check out also.
We do as much shopping as we can at Fresh and Easy.

I LOVE fresh and easy and wish it was in Michigan. It really stinks that a lot of nice convinent places aren’t offered in Michigan. What I love most about this market is some of the pre made meals and it can be catered to single individuals. I also like that you check out your own items. But I guess when your able to check out your own items, it loses the interaction with people.
