Food was delicious. Everything we ordered was phenonminal, however I barely ate any of my food since I have a small appetite. When the food was bagged to go we didn’t get nearly all of our food? So what the heck did they do with it? No clue, but was very upset that I paid a moderately expensive price for a delicious meal and didn’t get to take all of it with me. I had a large bowl of rice and a large bowl of curry and got a palm sized bagged portion. So moral of the story ask for bags but make sure you bag it yourself!

This was probably the worst Indian food I have ever eaten. The butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala were the exact same things and it was completely disgusting. The gravy tasted like blue cheese. When we walked in it took the waiters 15 minutes to give us water and they were a little bit rude and irritated. If you are thinking about coming here I would recommend going somewhere else. The kadai chicken was fine and the appetizers were decent.

I’m really happy I gave this place another try! We ordered the chicken korma and lamb masala — I was really impressed. Both meats were tender and delicious & the sauces were really good. Even the rice was extra tasty! I tried the Amber punch cocktail, too. This was a strong drink and it had a nice tropical flavor. There were a lot of people in the restaurant, but service was decent. Can’t wait to come back when I’m in PA again.

Awesome authentic Indian food. I highly recommend anything tikka masala. If you can ever make it to the buffet, that’s awesome as well — lets you get a little taste of different foods they offer.

I only like the masala here. It is good food but I think my tastes are running to different types of food than here. My husband loved the tanduri chicken and other things he has here. Price and politeness are a plus here.

Had dinner while travelling through I-84. We ordered in advance and had it served there. The food was very good and very well served. The taste and quality of food was awesome.

Delicious appetizers. My hubby had the vegetable samosas and I had the aloo tikki. Both were delicious. I absolutely loved the sauce with my appetizer with chickpeas and a delicious spicy sauce with Indian spices. It was amazing!!! For the entrée my husband had chicken badami and I had chicken makhani. We shared an order of garlic naan which is always delicious. The medium spice level wasn’t very hot at all but it was delicious none the less. My appetizer was pretty hot… slightly spicier than medium Pace salsa. Dessert was delicious as well. I had a scoop of rose water ice cream and it was amazing. My husband had a scoop of pistachio ice cream and it was also awesome. There was a listing on the menu for saffron ice cream and my husband had asked for that and I think the waiter misunderstood him and said pistachio. It was amazing enough that it didn’t matter. The wait staff was very attentive and always kept our water glasses full. The total for dinner was $ 49.13 which I felt was reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food.

One of the best Indian meals I’ve ever had! The food is delicious and perfectly spiced with a depth of flavor that brings it to a whole new level.

A hidden gem in north eastern Pennsylvania. The atmosphere and food was very good. It felt like i was eating home made food. The service too was fast and good. I ordered all vegetarian since i am vegetarian so I can only speak about the veg dishes. The unique thing was Amber had some different dishes that other indian restaurants don’t carry. Overall it was very good. I enjoyed my experience and food at amber.

Pros: good variety for lunch, food was very flavorful, buffet style for lunch so it could be quick bite if your in a rush. Cons: buffet area very cramped. I feel like I am trying to smell if they put on deodorant or not. Water cups are very small so they come by a lot if you drink a lot of fluids. I would definitely go back also side note kind of spicy so if your not into spicy I don’t think I would recommend it

Everything on the lunch buffet is fantastic. Everything is fresh and the flavors are well developed. They have mango and rose soft serve that is to die for. Not to mention, excellent service!

Always a great experience. Service is always on point. Our server knows our order by heart, and we are always greeted warmly. The navratan korma is delicious. Vegetarian thali is also a hit. Best Indian in the valley, hands down. Great spot for carnivores and herbivores alike.

Again exceptional service and absolutely delicious lamb vindaloo, the most tender lamb I’ve had in a very long time. The mango lassi was the perfect compliment to control the spice of the vindaloo. Thank you again for a fantastic meal

I stopped in for lunch … It was set up as a buffet, a nice option to try a variety of items … The food was flavorful and they had about four main meal options, as well as; salad(including relishes and dressings) some appetizers, naan, and desert. I was told that they vary the items on the buffet every couple of days if you wanted to come back and try other foods.

Ordered Paneer Tikka Masala and Chilly kofta. It was the most disgusting Indian food I have ever had. Chilly kofta were extremely tangy, and paneer tikka masala had water based gravy with zero taste… Not going back to this place ever again.

I almost didn’t choose to eat here because I try to find Unilocal 4 star places when I’m traveling and want to try a new place. So, I was thoroughly and pleasantly surprised by our dining experience. we had Lamb kabob masala and Bindhi masala(okra dish), with the mixed vegetarian appetizer(which included a nice selection of fried things, including a vegetable samosa), garlic naan and masala chai. The appetizers were tasty, though a little less oily would have suited my tastes better.(however, the samosa was exceptionally good) the entrees were fantastic. I am quite a fan of Indian cuisine, so I’ve eaten at many places and these were as good as many of the best I’ve had. The lamb was a bit sweet, spicy, and sour all in the right proportions. The okra dish was caramelized and flavorful, quite delicious. the rice was seasoned with ghee, cumin seeds and peas — perfect. the naan was excellent, really good. Chewy and soft with a good representation of garlic on top. The masala Chai was hot, unsweetened and a bit spicy(also perfect). If I didn’t live 2 hours away this would be my new go-to Indian place.

I came here with my brother and mom for Mother’s Day this year and we had a great time! This was my mom’s first time trying Indian food and she really enjoyed herself and all of the food. The service was fine and we had no problems during our meal. We opted for the buffet since we wanted her to try as many dishes as possible(and she got a free glass of champagne since it was Mother’s Day). The food was all very good and well-prepared. My only complaint was that the naan was kept in a buffet serving dish and keeping that closed keeps in the moisture and makes the naan soggy, which definitely stinks. It still had a good flavor, but lacked that nice crispness that I love. I tried an Indian beer, which was pretty good and the mango lassi was very, very good as well. This is a very nice place and it was a nice find in the Scranton area. I would stop in again someday and my mom would too!

Incredible food and value. Wish they were in Philly area. Great service. I was checked on 4x. As a solo woman diner i am lucky to ever get checked on once in Philly. I applaud their attention to detail. MUSTTRIES: Chicken soup. Lamb mugali(sic) The wine list was very nice —Cooperidge selections I enjoyed the white merlot.
