Sherman Lumber, Inc specializes in pre-​engineered pole building construction such as residential, garages, barns, agricultural buildings, and commercial structures. Each building is custom-​designed to fit requirements and budget of the customer. Most of the buildings can be completed in one to five days. Quality is very important to Sherman Lumber, the pole buildings are built to meet or exceed all building codes. Each and every Sherman Building is constructed with care and quality.

History

Established in 1976.

Sherman Lumber, Inc. is a family-​owned and operated business that has undergone quite an evolution since owners Andrew and Teresa Kelling started Kelling Construction back in 1976. The company specialized in post-​frame or «pole» buildings. Each of the Kelling sons, Edward, Steven, and Michael have worked for the business since their high school years. In 1993, the Kelling family started Sherman Lumber Co., which handled post-​frame construction materials, and also framing material for houses. In 1996, the two companies were incorporated, Kelling Construction and Sherman Lumber into one company, Sherman Lumber Inc. The name Sherman comes from the maiden name of Teresa.
