I concur with previous reviewers about the«skimpiness.» I ordered a giant burrito and asked just for the chicken(no steak); no sour cream and no cheese. These items cost $ 0.60 each on the side orders menu and I wasn’t getting the steak, sour cream OR cheese so I asked if I could just have a little extra guacamole instead. Think about it: I was paying for all three of those things but didn’t want any of them so a little extra guacamole would have been more than fair. The woman told me, «No, sorry, you have to pay extra if you want extra guacamole.»(I’m sure she’s not a decision maker and doesn’t have the authority so I cut her some slack.) Mucho charges $ 0.95 for guacamole but I wasn’t getting ingredients worth $ 1.20($ 0.60×2) plus whatever the steak was worth.(Now that I’ve had their burrito, I’m sure I didn’t miss anything.) None of this back story matters, however, because when I got it home it was SKIMPY. There was not even a half a chicken breast’s worth of small chunks of chicken and all ingredients(of which there wasn’t much) scattered over a giant bed of rice. The cost: $ 8.40. I won’t be going back. There was no «there» there…“Unsatisfying” at best. Meat-to-rice-to-beans ratio not worth the money they charge. Rice was«watery.» Ingredients were bland and uninteresting.

I thought the fajita burrito was very good. To me, the balance of meat to rice to beans was just fine, as was the spice. It was a little bit of a wait but it was dinner time and not extreme. I would have appreciated the sour cream I asked for and was charged for but it didn’t happen. I actually knew it wasn’t going to happen when they were searching for the sour cream and speaking Spanish to each other which, oh surprise, is understood even by someone who wants sour cream on their burrito. I would probably try again. It’s nice to see a small place, apparently family owned, supported way out here away from a big customer base.

This place has good burritos«wraps» I love the customer service. Especially some young college girl that speaks Spanish! She is a blast to chat with. Very nice family place. It’s a great option when you need to pick up a quick good meal.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is always friendly and professional. The food is very reasonably priced and delicious. It’s not«the most authentic» mexican food in the Bay Area but for Moraga, it’s very good! I hope everyone stops by and gives it a chance.

Over priced bland food! How in the world can you screw up a burrito? By putting way to much rice in!

Pickens are slim in Orinda. East Bay native(Clayton) and lived in Orinda 20 years. Mucho Wraps used to be really good. We stopped buying their take out burritos in 2011 because Mucho Wrap’s meat to rice /beans ratio went down 75%. The flavor is good but the substance is weak and skimpy. Needed a quick take out tonight and I first looked at Unilocal reviews… wondered if the quality and skimpy-ness improved. I reviewed several which complained about the lack of meat. The last two reviews were good. Went in and ordered a Thai Chicken wrap and a Chili Verde wrap. I asked the young lady(just in case), «Extra meat please on both wraps»…willing to pay the additional cost. Small bag of chips too, and I’m walking out the door for $ 27. Get home. Pull the wraps out. My other half wonders why we «went back». I say there are some good reviews, and it’s been a few years. Needed easy tonight. We are both half way through the wraps. He asks, «Any meat yet?» I tell him, «2 small cubes, you?» He says the same. We pick around the rest of our wraps and agree that each wrap has about 1/8−¼ cup, maybe, of meat. What pissed me off was I asked for extra meat and it wasn’t at all he quantity of meat you might expect from Taco Bell! It was 200% less than what one could get at Baja Fresh or El Charro. Shame on you for being so cheap. Sorry the picture of the Thai wrap does not at all look like ours tonight. Too bad we can’t support our local«family» business again. We won’t be back… that ship has sailed.

Mucho Wraps provides quality homemade Mexican food at a very reasonable price. The wraps are tasty and filling — try the chicken pesto or Thai wrap with slightly spicy peanut sauce for a tasty twist on the traditional burrito. Their salads are excellent — especially the Compuesta salad with homemade dressing. The chicken enchiladas verdes are also quite tasty. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Granted, Moraga is not the Mission, but for a suburban mall takeout restaurant, Mucho Wraps delivers!

Nothing special. Had the steak burrito and nachos on two different occasions. Kind of bland.

I’m not sure what people are finding that is bland and not filling… I had two steak tacos they were very filling(a lot of meat) and full of flavor. Just sitting here eating, many people have dropped in to order. A lot of those people ordered the Chicken Fiesta Salad… I will have to try that next time! YUMMY!

Very flavorless burritos/wraps. Tried a couple menu items on a couple of occasions and was not impressed. Wouldn’t go back unless I HAD to.

I have ordered from this place several times over the past several years. The people that work here are super nice, but the different menu items I’ve had has been a disappointment every time. Very small portions of very bland food. I’ll still go here once in a while because I work so close by, but it’s definitely a «Meh. I’ve experienced better.»

Still trying to find the grilled veggies in my «grilled veggie wrap» that is actually an overly salty bean and rice burrito. Is it the wilted yellow ice berg lettuce possibly? Is it the tomato in the drop of salsa hidden at the bottom? Oh yes, it must be these little chunks of undercooked zucchini. They get stars for having whole wheat tortillas and the fact that I was inadvertently warned in advance that it was actually a bean and rice burrito when I asked what was in it. At least it wasn’t drowning in cheese.

I was really happy to discover Mucho Wraps, a very decent burrito joint in Moraga, which is otherwise devoid of Mexican fare. I can’t speak to the more exotic wraps, but their grilled chicken burrito totally hits the spot for me. Not greasy or lardy, good with spicy salsa, and reminds me a lot of my favorite Bay Area burrito(Gordo’s).

Mucho Wraps is okay. I’ve never cared for the burritos here. The ratio of meat to rice to beans isn’t how I like it. Add to that, the entire burrito is pretty bland(this hasn’t changed even since the days of hot lunches in elementary/middle school — a long time ago). It doesn’t help that the salsas lack a punch to them as well. The enchilada plate was alright, much better than the burritos, but still lacked enough flavor. If I have an urge for Mexican food and for some reason I’m not able to go anywhere else, I may come by.

Eh? I ordered this«salad» with pinto beans and chips lining the side, pilled with chicken and guac. It sounds great, right? Wrong! The chicken had absolutely NO seasoning/flavor nor did the pinto beans, leaving the meal completely flavorless. Further, the salad dressing was all wrong for Mexican(Cali style?) salad. It was absolutely pitiful. My other experiences there have been mediocre as well. I love Mexican food and I am rooting for them, but it’s just not happening… I’ll keep trying different menu items… In the meantime, just make your tacos at home.

Well, I was dubious about what this place was, given the name. Wrap sandwiches? When I walked in, however, I realized that real burritos were a possibility. While a strange mish mash of items are on the menu, I went for a chili verde burrito and asked for it hot. It wasn’t as spicy as I would have liked, but the burro was excellent. The tortilla was thin, soft and fresh. The beans and rice were very flavorful and the chili verde was excellent. No, it isn’t the Mission. It isn’t even Oakland. But it is a solid filling burrito in an unlikely location and I am glad it’s there. They say they have carnitas — I’ll have to try that out. I wish there was a good taqueria in town. Orinda used to have one a long time ago, but now it’s a sushi place. I want carnitas and aguas frescas!
