Business Owner

As a former college teacher, I bring professional classroom skills to my programs. My SAT workshops are recognized as the pre-​eminent standardized test prep in the LaMorinda area. I teach strategies and techniques for problem-​solving in all three areas of the test: math, reading and writing. In fact, I wrote the book on helping students obtain top scores of their SAT essays. Now availabe on amazon, it’s entitled: «How to Write a Killer SAT Essay. .. in 25 Minutes or Less». I’m also the author of a soon-​to-​be-​released SAT grammar app for iPhones.

My small group tutoring sessions are unique in the business. Rather than simply doing homework problems, I actually teach the material and students tell me I cover more in a weekly session than their classroom teacher does in a week. I use my own prepared handouts, practice exams, collateral materials and teach strategies and techniques that not only help kids understand the material but also prepare them to do better on difficult tests.
