Big 5 Sporting Goods

6−13−16 at approximately 6:00 PM visit to Moval’s Big 5 reminded me why I shop elsewhere. Poor customer service. Sales person left me at the counter saying that she would be back in a few minutes. Ten minutes turned into fifteen minutes as I looked at the products on the shelves When I Turned to locate the sales person I spotted her at the cashier station waiting on another customer While talking on the phone and avoiding eye contact with me for another five minutes. I would have waited had she made some gesture of acknowledgement or walked back to say she would tied up for awhile. Poor customer and interpersonal communications.

The customer service is very good although the prices are pretty expensive they have plenty of merchandise to choose from.

No doubt that the customer service is great. All of the workers here are really friendly and will help you find what you are looking for. However, if you love getting ripped off by overpriced goods this is the place to go. There are many other stores that will sell items for cheaper than at Big 5. It’s called Big 5 cause they like to quintuple the amount of regular prices.

I have this problem whenever someone gives me a Big 5 gift card. When there is less then $ 10 on the card they have to give you cash back, law passed years ago, but they will tell they don’t give cash back or that the amount has to be $ 5 or less. This has happen twice and now I bring copies off the web to show them.

The pricing is a little bit expensive for my taste but everybody is so nice and friendly and they have everything you can think of when it comes to outdoor good I personally got my winter gloves there for the snow

It was pretty awesome here… They help out the customers and were super nice. One of the associates pointed out that another’s «boo-​thang» was in the store… I needed that laugh too make me feel better about the California hunting and fishing regulations.

Clean store. Manager was even around to ask questions. Great customer service! Got what we needed :)

Wow! Great costumer service, the lady that helped me here truly impressed me! She answered every question I could think of. She knew her product very well and was smiling the whole time. I think her name was Elizabeth, she had all the qualities we look for in a great employee. I couldn’t have been more pleased with her costumer service! I will be back to this store in the near future! Thank you for all your help!

what could i say this place is horrible! i went in to get my son some soccer gear
he had already picked out his stuff and got his shoes last. he found the ones he wanted but their was only one shoe in the box i told the manager he told me nothing he could do if the shoe wasnt there! what? isnt that your job to find it? i had to drive across the city to get him cleats horrible customer service overall. and the store is filthy stuff everywhere! and on top of that the lady who checked me out had an attitude form the get go. wont ever return

An amazing deal on the Mossberg 500 dual barrel deal was too good to pass up. The Mossberg special was a 12 gauge with a security 18.5″ security barrel and a hunting 28″ barrel with a vented rib, both have a simple contrasting front bead sight. It does not have any rear sight but it is pre-​tapped to accept any sight you would want to place there. You cannot beat the advertised price in the ad and it was in stock. If you are used to the registration process, it was expeditiously completed and was a pleasant experience– unlike some other retailers that have excessively large fish tanks in their store.

Friendly employees and they always have what I’m looking for at a lower price than most of the big name stores.

It’s fine, not one of Big 5’s better location but it does the job in a pinch. The location is smaller than the Magnolia, Riverside store. I went in last week to get my usual tennis shoes and they were out! Had to go to freakin wally world instead (can you say uck…) Oh well. Usually their sales are really good, but don’t buy it unless it is on sale — I think they over price their stuff to begin with.
