Church’s Chicken

This is the worst Church’s I’ve been to, they will try to give you leg and thigh meal if you order mixed for 7 bucks more. Legally this is stealing and morally this is fu**ed up. DO NOT go here, the Management doesn’t care about the customer at all, they never answer the phone and do not consistently have good food. After a month and a half, I have not received a call from Church’s Corporate customer service either. This affirms my suspicions that Church’s does not value customer service. Without customers to service, the problem will resolve itself.

They are too slow. And rude! Once again I waited 12 minutes too long for two not very fresh breast and also cold. Almost always a disappointment.

This place sucks! The red shirt I think was a Manager sucked in personality!!! I ask A question and it gave her a attitude. I guess English as A 2^nd language is tough, But why is she taking my order, and why is she mad because he has to talk to me! I even ask my sister if she under stud her??? and that was the just the start! the Food Sucked and was cold!
After reading other reviews 4 this store, WTF is there corporate manager’s doing! ??? I won’t be back! Popeye’s is building another store near by! and this store can Close!!!

Has the absolute worst service I have ever seen, you call and they pick up the phone and slam it down. They never have the spicy chicken ready, and the original chicken they leave sitting under the heat lamps all day. All the workers have bad attitudes and talk low when using the head set, then they get mad when you ask them to speak a little louder. This store needs a corp take over. If another churches was built down the street and it had better service. This one would go out of business quickly. I would have gave negative stars if the option was available.

Wow. The counter employee screwed up my order even after instructing him for five minutes. Either he was extremely slow or just being an A hole. Either way that is not how you retain customers… You know revenue… I tried calling the store manager… The phone ranged and ranged… Someone picked up and then hung up… Called again it and the line was busy… Really manager? You should take these negative reviews seriously. BTW I filed a strong complaint with corporate.

This is the only churches in Moreno Valley and I hope they open another one with better customer service, has chicken ready (Duh it is a chicken place) were I do not have to wait 30 min for chicken each time I come, and a place were they actually stick to the hours that are posted. So I went there on a Saturday at 10:15 and went
Through the drive thru and no one answered mind you they have posted that they close 11pm, so my husband went to the door to ask and the boy looks at his supervisor to ask if they were closed (he knew of course they were still open) and the supervisor says yes. Just bull. And the young lady supervisor is a mean miserable women. My next step is calling the cooperation, which I have to make sure I call early sense it’s based out of Georgia and is three hours ahead. The chicken is delicious but customer service is wack.

Came to the drive thru about 930ish one night to get some chicken. They tell us it’s a 30 min wait for chicken and they have absolutely no chicken ready. A chicken place has no chicken ready, seriously? I wondered if that was the truth or if they’re just being a bunch of lazy fucks that wanted to slack off till closing. Either way, I won’t be back. Drive down the street to Wingstop instead.

Worst customer service ever! My husband and I walked up to the register and nearly waited 5 minutes before we got anyone to even talk to us. No one even greeted us, said «hello», or even said «we will be right with you» till we decided to speak up. They weren’t busy at all, and there were 5 employees on hand. To make it worst, it was the manager on the front of the line and had an attitude the whole time while taking our order. We will never be back at this location.

Worst service ever, I know fast food jobs aren’t the easiest but come on. Can you be a little more pleasant?

Omg… rediculous. No chicken breast, no fish, it was 12 noon and they didn’t have any chicken strips cooked, soda machine didn’t work and wait time inside and out took FOREVER! Won’t be back to this location. Poor management and staff. So ghetto

I used to enjoy Churches but this location is beyond horrible. Service is ridiculous, the wait time for the drive thru is 20mins long, and the service is bad. I won’t recommended this Churches to anyone.

Only been here once when they opened many years ago. Never again! It was fried crunchy but pink in the middle… Make the drive to KFC or Popeyes it’s worth it!

To get fresh chicken, one needs to visit when they ramp up for the dinner rush. I am not complaining about the chicken.
I can’t believe the lack of proper training. It’s either that or this is what happens when you hire relatives.
I arrived just before the dinner rush and it looked like the dining room had not been tended to since the lunch rush. Food particles were stuck on the tables.
Where is the pride?

I honestly just come here for their jalapeño poppers and the honey butter biscuits. Other than that, the food is ok.
The service is terrible! I walked inside and went to the register waiting for them to take my order. The girl just looked at me and then turned around and started moving the chicken around pretending she was doing something important. She didn’t even greet me nor the other customer behind me. I had to wait for another worker to take my order. When I was about to pay, the guy left to go to the back and didn’t come back for a while. Like seriously, take care of your customers first.
I used to work at a fast food joint and I know to take care of the customers before anything. If those workers didn’t want to be there, maybe they should look for another job!

Worst church’s chicken ever. I’ve never been to a place that lacked so many things at one time. Staff is not properly trained and often seemed lost or confused about the simplest of questions and for such a slow night, I couldn’t believe how many ppl were sitting waiting for their orders. For six ppl working, I saw no one cooking anything and one person attempting to fill the orders. This place needs serious corporate intervention.
Food wise, mashed potatoes were decent but who can mess up mashed potatoes? My chicken was old and greasy and nothing you would expect from a quality ran church’s chicken.
I’m going to have to side with most on here, do not go here under any circumstances!

Good chicken has it’s price !!!
Although the chicken is good, anything beyond legs and thighs are a cool 15min wait. I ordered the 2 pcs mixed special and strips and it took 15mins but was good and fresh

I went here a few days ago. The food was just ok. What got me was having to look for a table that was clean. Most were soiled from past diners. I would not go back here no matter what. I was not asked if my order was for here or to go so when I got it, although I had planned on eating there, everything was bagged as a «to go» order.

This place is better than the other Unilocalers are giving credit for. I find myself craving their chicken often at night and you know what? Its a lot better than KFC. Actually its WAY better.
Now keep in mind im talking primarily about the Chicken here (breasts, wings and thighs). I can’t say much about the chicken sandwiches here or the hot wings etc because every time I go I am only there for 3 things; BWT sonn breast wings and THIGHS. I didn’t really like the fried okra too much to be honest; its just kinda flavorless but to their credit fried okra is actually a deceptively difficult dish to make correctly. I haven’t had the chance to try the mashed potatoes or any of the other sides, however, except the for the fries which I will comment upon later in the review.
The flavor is excellent, like I said its vastly better than KFC and id say slightly under Popeye’s in terms of flavor. The thing is that I feel like although Popeye’s has slightly better chicken, the portions are just way better here. Just the right amount of crispiness and oh yeah, the fries! Have you ever watched Harold and Kumar and wanted those white castle crinkle cut fries? Well this is the closest you will get. They are soooo crispy and golden and delicious. I just cant explain it. They are awesome. Their biscuits are good but nothing really extraordinary. They have a drizzle of honey on them when you get them. The way I like to eat their chicken is to drizzle it with honey and hot sauce.
At this particular spot we always get great service even though we almost always come within an hour or so of closing time. Its mostly younger people I see behind the counter but they are professional, courteous and I love their chicken madly. They are tucked away in the food 4 less shopping center behind McDonald’s but give them a chance guys. They usually have some sort of special running too.

Ewww!!! One star is too good of a rating for this fast food restaurant ( Unilocal does not give the option of ZERO).
I was not Unilocaling at the time when I experienced my first case of food poisoning back in December 2009 — after eating the spicy fried chicken at this location. And I’ve always been a fan of spicy fried chicken, so it’s not like I wasn’t used to eating fried chicken.
This is the WORST Church’s Chicken I’ve ever been to. This never happened to me with any other fried chicken product I ever consumed. Needless to say, I never went back to this location!

Good chicken. I have come to love this place thanks to my boss. He goes here almost every Tuesday for their special.
The chicken is crispy, flavorful, and tasty, the mashed potatoes are just bomb (I love their spice!), and I love their biscuits.
And as I said, the .99 for 2 piece Tuesdays are a really great way to eat cheap.
