Hertz Rent A Car

Excellent customer service today in spite of the line and limited Saturday business hours. The rep was fast and courteous and I received such an amazingdeal on my 2week rental. I wish I knew the rep’s name who helped me. He deserves recognition; cool and calm under pressure. I will definitely be back. Thank you Hertz and the awesome guy at the Sunnymead location on 6÷18÷2016.

I really wish I could give 0 Stars. We had prepaid and reserved online and had everything completed ahead of time. We came down and were told they gave away the last car and to refund they don’t do it we have to do it online and will take 24 to 48 hours. And there’s no cars anywhere else so, sorry. I do not recommend ever coming here because that’s just bad business what’s the point of paying ahead of time if they’re not going to hold a car for you.

I am a return customer for this location. Each time I have rented from them, I have had a great experience. They are a very busy location… but that is good! They have always taken time to be polite, make sure all my questions are answered and have charged me exactly when was agreed. The car I rented was clean and smelled good. I am a happy customer and will be a return customer… again! I recommend this Hertz location!

This review is for their sister location at Moss Brothers. I had a good experience. Renting and returning were easy. I had to extend the length of my rental since my car was took longer to be repaired than originally planned and they worked with me.

The Hertz Ontario rental office near the airport leave much to be desired! They are rude and have very poor customer service! They don’t listen to their customers and instead try to sell more stuff. My parents had reservations for a rental and instead of just issuing the car they continually tried to sell them insurance and upgrades, which my parents continually stated were not interested. Not only that, the staff gave the wrong space number. A business is all about the customer and customer service. A simple concept that here at this location obviously lacks!

Rented a car for the weekend I paid in advance for standard car and didn’t realize I got a mid size car and inside was dirty I was in a rush so didn’t see till after be careful

This is the worst shit place for car renta. They will treat you like shit. Be aware!!! Stay away

I reserved and paid for the car in advance. Upon arrival I was told my car would be available when it was gased up and washed so I had to wait 30 minutes past my pick up time. I asked the Customer Service Representative Precious if she could change the time on my rental agreement since there is not a grace period. She said she would take care of it but wouldn’t give me a copy for myself. Usually they walk around the car with you to note of any dings and dents, Precious did NOT until after I went out and came back in and told her I wanted it noted there was multiple big dents and scratches on the rear bumper that I didn’t want to be held responsible. She told me I would be fine but I insisted a written copy of damage already on car and she hesitated but finally did. On returning the car the same Rep. Princess checked me in. I told her I needed a ride home and said she would when someone else came to help. 2 associates came and went and I didn’t get a ride home. After 45 minutes I stood in line again and she said she hasn’t forgot about me and as soon as she cleared the crowd she would take me home. I reminded her that I had already waited 45 minutes and the crowd kept coming. Her (Rep’s name is Precious) response was «you’re JUST waiting for a ride home». In the tone that she used is that I was not important, only the people that were waiting to rent, now that I had rented and paid I was not important. Finally after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes she said in an unpleasant tone «can you take HER home?» This place is way understaffed and no customer service skills at all!!! I have rented from this location several times and each time the customer service gets worse. I think from now on I would rather pay more from another rental agency than be treated so terribly. Beware people, if I could rate this below 1 star I would.

THIS PLACE WAS FILTHY!!! We reserved a car online, when we showed up, the lady looked at us and stated, «we ain’t got no full size» but she did offer us a wonderful economy size vehicle that obviously would not work for my family of 4. The store is located inside Pep Boys and probably had not been cleaned since the grand opening. I am still curious as to what the red slime was on the wall/​floor/​chair and in the garbage can was. Thank you Hertz for narrowing down my choices of car rental locations, i will not be back soon

Absolute worst customer service ever. Unorganized, seems like the current supervisor is more focused on bad mouthing her predecessor than on customer service. It was amazing how this woman started bad mouthing the previous manager. Customer service is not their strength at this location.

I give consideration to people a lot but when it comes to safety and service that compromises children or, the customer itself, I’m gonna have to vent. This location’s standard of service should be raised from no bar to at least one. It is a waste of time waiting here and the vehicle they’re renting out smells like there’s been a body rotting inside when you turn on the AC and there’s a thick white liquid on the back seat like God knows what it is! The next vehicle that they changed on us after a couple hours of wait had an alarming brake issue and we were in the middle of the desert to find another Hertz rental? Well, this location isn’t even well marked. It’s inside Pep Boys, that’s the 23 470! The bathroom is filthy, there’s no sink to wash hands after you do your business and there’s no trash can ! I know the staff tried their best to deliver customer service but please try harder? It’s pathetic because Hertz has reputation and this branch is not helping ! I would rather deal with other locations that’s hopefully better or at Enterprise where staff are fast and efficient !

This office is inside the Pep Boys building, its small but the staff is great, especially Gerardo he took care of a luxury SUV for me quickly and got me on my way. He even had to go pick it up from another location to get me this car, very unique experience and I recommend this Hertz to everyone. The car was perfect, clean and no issues the entire rental period. I thank them for the good experience. Will be back again.

1 week rental — convertible Ford Mustang
To start with, yes this location is small. Only has two customer services representatives & a total of 3 chairs for customers. This location shares the building with the adjacent Pepboys business. Like any other place the earlier you come the better off you’ll be.
The process of renting the car is simple and straightforward. The manager Geraldo helped me from start to finish & was great at it. Unfortunately it seems he’s understaffed for this location & the business needs to be updated seeing how much foot traffic comes through. This isn’t something to hold against the people working at this location but against corporates lack of commitment support their employees & overall care about their customers
This location would be a 4 or 5 star location but the lack of employees, extended wait time & a much needed remodeling /​upgrade brings it down to a solid 3 stars

Ghetto. Ghetto. Waiting for hours. Unprofessional staff (don’t even have name tags). And small waiting space. The details I could go on and on. But unfortunately this is the closest Hertz to my house. How do I privately message?

Very small office! My family and I waited an hour and half before getting attended. During that time I overheard several people getting turned away, because they had to no vehicles available. After 5 mins of driving the veh that they assigned to me. (not the one I reserved) I had to return the veh because it extremely pulled to the right!!! Now with out no veh, I’m waiting for the manager to come make things right. I’ll post later how thing were handled.

I went to visit this branch about a week ago and had a pleasant experience. The office is very small and It was very busy which makes it hard to get out of there with a car quick. When I went in I was helped by Danny and I was very pleased with his customer service, He explained everything to me clearly and let me know exactly what was going on every step of the way. When we checked out the car he gave me, it was not the cleanest, but he went out of his way to help me and cleaned it and got me on my way which is greatly appreciated. I hope that the process becomes faster in the future but once it was my turn to be helped, I was very happy with my visit and the customer service I received.

The people who work here are useless. I needed to swap out a car that I rented from another hertz bc there was a problem. Guy on the phone told me they do not swap due maintenance problems which is a complete lie. Seriously no point in even writing this review cause nothing will change. Just know you are dealing with morons.

I was having car troubled and called Hertz while I was at the shop. Gerald, came and picked me up, and I was immediately helped by the wonderful staff! I was in and out within 20 minutes with a nice and affordable car. Excellent experience… I had to share…

This location has made hertz lost my business for life. How can you have employees that can not write a contact? I guess it was my fault for not showing up when the manager was there since I was told to come back later. Here’s a tip for management go to this location and video tap how not to run a business. Have every manger you hire watch it might help you keep customers.
