International House of Pancakes

Freakin ridiculous! Stopped by on Christmas day for some pancakes and crepes and as soon as we walk in there’s 3 employee’s standing behind the cash register just standing around talking and when we walked up one of them says that the wait is 2 hours, so I take a quick look inside and the place wasn’t even packed. I’ve been to restaurants where it’s extremely busy and the longest we’ve had to wait is 45 mins. I think these employee’s were just being lazy. Will not be going to this ihop anymore

I have come to this location several times. I have never had problems with the service here. What I do have an issue with is the price. I’m by no means a cheap person. I don’t mind paying good $$ for good food. The prices are a bit high. considering the amount of food you get. Almost $ 10.00 for four pancakes seems a bit steep for me. I guess I will have to continue to pay theses prices if I want to eat here.

I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews on here. I was quoted a 15 minute wait time and was seated in 10 minutes (party of 2). If you come here with a party of 8 or 16, you should know you are going to wait a long time.
The place was packed, and I came during lunch time. If you come here at night, I’m sure it won’t be packed. Dates go elsewhere. If you bring a date to IHOP, …I won’t continue that sentence.
Service varies on the server you have and the customers that are around. That is why tip was invented. Bad service? Bad tip! Good service? Good tip. Everyone has bad days. Luckily I have been fortunate enough to have good service.
Price — I always come here with a coupon so everything is either 20% off or buy one get one free up to $ 8.00. Can’t complain about that. Be smart. Use coupons :)

This IHOP, not so good. Period. Slow slow slow and I came in on Thursday at 10 o’clock off peak hours. The waitress didn’t have a good grip on the English language. The food was terrible. Had to send it back. Still didn’t come back how I ordered it…
Besides their food is nothing like it used to be. It has gone the way of corporate profits rather than quality food. kind of like a McDonald’s more like a chemistry experiment than food.
My advice hit a mom n Pop diner. ibetter prices better food and better service…

Service was good but the manager brought out raw bacon and the hash browns were way to salty!

The worst thing a company can do is ignore a customer. Ordered breakfast ahead & came to pick it up– stood at the counter while 5 employees walked behind it and around me without saying a word. Finally a server, who was busy herself stop and asked if I needed help. It wasn’t busy. There was plenty of employees. Bad customer service.

To most of us it may not happen but for the older person it is good food and you can relax there an have a good breakfast and leave happy.

Same standardized food as at all I-​Hops. Grotesquely overpriced. Identical breakfast at Denny’s (a quarter mile away) is half what this place costs.

I’ve been to different IHOP locations but I must say this one has one of the best customer service. Our server was great, very attentive, i hope she returns after her maternity leave. This was my grandmother’s first time going there too, and she complimented on how our server was very polite, and courteous. She also commented on how all places should be this polite to senior citizens. It made her fell warm and comfortable.

Like: taste of food (I love their stuffed French toast with glazed strawberries and whip cream), friendliness of staff, plenty parking spaces, cleanliness, justified prices, speed of service depends if their busy
Dislike: wait time during peak hours, not a fan of their coffee (diluted– when you’re used to Starbucks, it’s hard to go back)

Had breakfast there last week. Seated pretty quickly. Service was great.
LOVED the Cheese Blintzes with strawberry!!! I also ordered a Swiss Mocha, pretty good too.

What can i say its an IHOP. Don’t expect much. Your service will depend on who’s in on that day. Like any other IHOP. Nothing to complain about but also nothing to rave about.

Well of course this IHOP is no different from the other IHOP’S. But breakfast was good. Service was good. They keep the place looking good. I had a good experience. Just don’t like where they are located.

Great service and food!

This IHOP isn’t different from other IHOP’s, but it does have a few things that make it stand out.
1. Open 24 hours. So any time you’re hungry, drop by.
2. Service is pretty quick. Food comes out quickly.
3. Restaurant is relatively large. They have space for large parties.
4. Very convenient. This location is right off the freeway.

I was craving french toast one day, sooooo… got my fix!
I want to share our IHOP experience.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were given eye contact and greeted with a smile + a «Welcome.» The greeter started talking to an elderly couple, who was waiting before us. The couple appeared to be regulars. They were having conversations with various staff members. LOL. it was cute.
***75% of the time, we’ve noticed that greeters will «greet» but without eye contact. OR, the host will not look away (or up) from what they are doing to acknowledge patrons standing in front of them or the podium. Takes 2 – 3 sec. to say «I’ll be right with you.»
The place was pretty busy, but not crowded. We got seated in less than 2 min.
We ordered, and got our food in less than 10 min. It honestly felt like 5 min. During our meal, our server (Derek) came and replenished our drinks without us asking.
***Usually, we have to strategically place empty glasses and/​or dirty plates most convenient for servers for a refill and/​or clean up. And most of the time, we need to ask for it.
At one point, we needed napkins so I looked around and spotted our server in the next aisle. Took 1 sec. for him to look my way and understood what I said by reading my lips.
***We are used to servers with tunnel vision. They don’t look around, or just doesn’t want to so they can avoid seeing customers who actually need them.
We finished eating, went to the cashier to pay. My husband was paying and I was holding our 2 to go boxes. The cashier saw the boxes and immediately said: «Let me give you a bag for that»
I know you might be thinking… «Is that it? She’s ecstatic about that?» Absolutely! It’s what service is in my book. Anticipate needs and provide them. before being asked. No sugar coating needed, extra pep not necessary, just provide what we need and in a courteous manner.
4 stars for the place (could be cleaner) and food. 5^th star for a pleasant experience. Thanks everyone!

This is an interesting IHOP, given that it is located off the beaten path of usual areas to have a restaurant at. The area its at is a bit run down and away from the main streets but it’s worth the trek.
The business itself is great. The interior is your typical IHOP, with a bit of country flair to it. The food is great and the service has always been excellent. Love it!

Me and my friends came here around 2am after a night of fun. I was surprise to see that there were a lot of people eating here that late. Anyways, the waiter was friendly. The food is good like at any iHOP.
