History

Established in 2010.

Owner Addie Young who was introduced to pole fitness in 2009 wanted to make a studio that was affordable to ALL women. After taking classes at some of the top studios in Los Angeles she said one day «there is a need to be met in the fitness services provided to women, and this is definitely it; now we (women) can experience something that not only aides in the achievement of our fitness goals but increases our over all flexibility, energy level, confidence and sex appeal. Where else can you find that?» POLEculiar Dance & Fitness will continue to grow and expand to meet the demands of our students and I highly value your inputs. Please feel free to add any comments, sign up for our news letters, sign our guest book or drop in for a class. I look forward to serving you every climb, spin and twirl of the way.

Business Owner

Addie Young, a former dancer of ballet, jazz, lyrical and a drill team participant has had a passion for dance since 1996 as well as a combined total dance experience of over 8 years and has an attention to detail for dance and choreography.

Addie was first introduced to pole dancing in 2002 and danced focusing on the art of sensual and seductive dance, and was later re-introduced to pole dancing for fitness in 2009. Addie has taken classes at some of the top studio’s in Los Angeles Ca, but most of her instruction comes from utilizing visual aids (such as youtube and www.studioveena.com) to self teach. Addie’s love and passion for fitness truly developed after the birth of her fist child in 2005. Though always a physically active child, teen and young adult, it wasn’t until after pregnancy that losing weight became a task that had to be worked at for her. POLEculair was birthed so that women of all backgrounds can experience this phenomenal movement.
