The idea behind Pyro Teknik was conceived in August of 2003 by Matthew Morey. Having graduated from California State University Monterey Bay with a bachelors in film and video, he spent several years working in film/​video production honing a wide range of skills including editing and visual FX.

As he worked on many productions ranging from independent films to television commercials his desire to learn more individual roles in film and television production grew. Matthew began learning the field of graphic design and motion graphics while working on independent projects for small companies looking to market themselves more. This eventually led to the idea of business marketing with social media.

Pyro Teknik started small but grew into a culmination of Matthew’s desire to always be learning new skills in the ever changing video/​design world. Social media in business marketing continues to grow at an ever expanding pace. Some companies find themselves falling behind and getting outdate
