— Smile Island Orthodontics is a private practice of orthodontics originated and operated by Dr. Rynearson, whom is a Board Certified Orthodontist. — His office has been treating the orthodontic needs of children and adults since about 1990. — The office is set in a nautical theme as Dr. Rynearson enjoys a beach/​ocean environment and associates the quest for a beautiful smile with an excursion to a treasure island! — Dr. Rynearson has also been a half time professor of orthodontics at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry since 1987. His private practice time is spent exclusively at his Smile Island Orthodontics office in Moreno Valley, California.

Meet the Business Owner

R. David Rynearson, DDS, MS R.

Business Owner

A native Californian, Dr. Rynearson grew up with a love for books, art, electronic and mechanical devices, physical and life science education and education in general. He has enjoyed the natural environment, especially nautical themes. After completing his baccalaureate degree, he subsequently earned his DDS degree and an MS degree in orthodontics from Loma Linda University. He has enjoyed teaching orthodontics half time to dental students and graduate students since 1987. The remainder of a work week is spent at his Smile Island Orthodontics office in Moreno Valley, California. He is married and has two grown children.
