Was helping my sister move on a very hot Saturday afternoon. Needed some refreshments, went to this stater bros. The store was clean but holy cow were the lines for the registers all long, and all of them were open. Went to three different registers. On one register a guy is joking with another cashier, another is a 15 items or less and they’re ringing up some family with at least 30 items. What’s up with that?
And to whoever manages this store, you’d get people in and out faster if you didn’t have the cashier ring AND bag the customers. If you hired baggers the lines would move along twice as fast. Slowest cash register lines I’ve ever encountered in any grocery store.

Lately, I’ve had less stressful visits here. I attribute this to them having more checkout lanes open. Seems as though, they’ve heeded to everyone’s complaints. Hopefully, this will be the new norm.

This store is ok. The fruit and veggies are always fresh and the store is clean. However there are always very long lines. Personally I try to go to the other Stater Bros down the street on Moreno Beach whenever I can. However I do like the fact that they have a US Bank in store branch that is open seven days a week so that often jeeps he coming. I live right next to this location but like I said I do prefer the one a little further down the street.

The store is clean and products are generally easy to find. Good customer service isn’t always on display, but last night was great. The girl bagging groceries on lane 7 was a great part of the team. She had a positive attitude and asked every customer if they found what they were looking for. She also asked if they were excited for the new year and she always said she was because 2014 will be the year she graduates. Her optimism, smile, and good rapport was infectious. She should be commended by management.

I live near this location, but I rather drive to the Moreno Beach location. The service here is sooooo bad. The deli staff seems irritable if you ask them questions and they butchers have no sense of service. One thing that you’ll notice at this store, is the long lines, so don’t expect to «get in and get out», it doesn’t happen here.

I like shopping at Stater Bros but not so much at this one. There is never enough Cashiers. Always long lines. The meat counter is fast, almost never a wait there. The Deli on the other hand is rather slow. They also are not very friendly. They seem put out and seem as if you are bothering them when they have to help you. You get approached by beggars in the parking lot often as well

For area grocery stores, this is our preferred store. Much better than any other local grocery stores.
The fruits and vegetables here are fresh. The seafood is fresh. The breads are fresh. They need more selection on some basic items. The staff is friendly and helpful.
There are some times the lines are long, but that happens at almost all grocery stores.
Most annoying thing are the jerks driving through the parking lot, along the row of stores, who stop traffic to let someone out. Idiots.

This Stater Brothers store has problems. I won’t be shopping there any more. From the managers down to the box people, they have very poor customer service skills. I went in and bought groceries, and again they packed my insulated grocery bag with the eggs in the bottom. Also, when I got to the store, I checked the price on a few sales items for the correct price with an assistant manager. But by the time I finished my grocery shopping and got to the register, the head manager said those items were not on sale. Whatever. Again, I’ve had enough, I won’t be shopping at that store any more!

i go here more often cause its close to home, i have no problems with this store, i just hate the fact that i agree with Amber M, the checkout lanes are so limited, try going there on a friday or saturday during before & after lunch, the checkout lanes are so pack and they only have 2 – 3 lanes that’re open.
but the express lanes are much faster though, gotta give props on that.

This absolutely the worst store I have ever happened been in! The lines are the length of amusement park ride lines. Truly pathetic! Way under staffed sadly when there are people who need jobs.?? I was at this store 3 months ago and it was just as bad. Shut this down hire new management. They really should have planned better knowing Thanksgiving does come every ever and people do need to shop! I am truly baffled! I Will be driving out of my way now for another grocery store!

I would give this stater brothers a zero! This place is ALWAYS crowded and what’s worse, is that they will not open up more checkout lanes! There are so many times I’ve seen the lines go into the aisles and nothing is done to help customers get out of there. I cringe if I ever have to shop here. Also, I’ve bought ice cream and butter here and have taken it home to find out some one put their hand in it. This place is disgusting!

This Stater Brothers is conveniently located next to the condo community I live in. Unlike the old stater brothers I used to go to off alessandro and perris, it doesnt have that hot food section near the meat section where you can just take individual hot food items like corn dogs, burritos, chicken etc. or a makeup aisle, but everything else is about the same.
Before paying for our groceries we went to the deli to pick up some chicken and potato wedges. To whoever works the deli counter on Sunday mornings, we received the best and friendliest service ever! Usually I’d give the deli counter lady a shoutout right now but I forgot to read her nametag…
