Was back in Morgan Hill and had breakfast here both mornings! Asked for our hash browns crispy and they were perfect. We all loved our pancakes! Learned about thier active role in their community serving meals to the underprivileged. Great to hear!

This review is solely for the homemade corned beef hash plate. It was crispy, salty and yummy. Delicious. They have regular corned beef hash and the homemade. Stick to the homemade if you know what’s good for you. Betsy ’ s is a local ’ s place. I can see why there’s a wait on the weekends. You better get there early on the weekends or expect to wait. Even during the week it gets a little busy. I was a happy camper this morning. See you soon!

Just moved to Morgan hill from Gilroy and wanted to try somewhere local! So friends recommended Betsys! And I’m glad they did! Love the staff there So friendly and always checking on us! We usually go at a busy time too! The food is just as good! First time I went I order that Betsys omelette with hash browns really good had an avocado in it which I found was so good! I asked for hashbrowns cause I’m a hashbrowns kind of girl. And instead of toast I got 2 pancakes! Yes TWO! and they are the best pancakes I’ve had in craving them right now as a matter of fact. Second time I created my own omelette, Spinach, bacon and cheese! So good! But I asked for country potatoes this time and I liked the country potatoes more the the hashbrowns.

Ok, so I found my new addiction here… y’all better not come and start eating it all up and not leave any for me. … Corned beef with house potatoes and two whole eggs. They offer two types of corned beef, canned and house made. I would never go for the canned version, that just does not sound appetizing at all! The wait has been a steady 20 minutes the pasty couple of times we have been here. That’s probably the only down fall. Aside from that, everything else remains the same. Good customer service, and affordable pricing

I came back home to visit and I came here because I heard this place had really good american food. So I got myself a bacon & cheese burger and it was the best burger I had in a long time. The stuff is very friendly and I got my food out fast. Its nice to come back home and find a small dinner that has really good food. Next time I’m back in town I am coming here

Stopped in for breakfast with a friend Sunday @ 7:30 and it was already packed! Always a good sign on a first visit. Food was good and prices fair for the portion size. Recommended for breakfast!

Food was good, but if you are in a hurry on a Sunday morning this is not the place to go. It took about 40 minutes to get our food. They were very busy and the servers were nice, I just feel like they needed more help. It was a cute little diner and if you have time I would recomed stopping here!

4 stars out of almost 200 reviews had me very misled. I looked at the menu online and saw avocado burger and was sold. Unfortunately I left feeling very disappointed. The burger was a small, frozen, flavorless patty, and the generic, store brand bun was so dry it crumbled apart as I tried to eat the burger. If it weren’t for the avocado, onion, ketchup and yellow mustard, it would have had no taste at all. The only saving grace to the meal was the onion rings. Most of the reviews seem to be for breakfast, so I guess I’d stick to that if I ever came back. Probably won’t though.

Just the best. Period. We live overseas, and dream about this food. Go hungry, service fast and efficient. Just good, basic, food. Your man will love the chicken fried steak. Fantastic family-owned and operated resto. They close down for one week to take their family vacations. You will be served love here. This is what America is made of. Love you all, Randa and Amy and Betsy!

This was a solid breakfast. After a super long road trip cross country, all we wanted was to sit quietly and eat a homemade breakfast. Betsy’s did not disappoint. Some folks seemed to think being next to the bowling alley was a downside. We thought it was fun. The atmosphere was unpretentious and simple. The food, honest, scratch made, and in generous portions. I got a scramble with turkey mushrooms and cheese in it and it was chock full of all three. Good quality turkey is always a good sign. The home fries were yummy, and I love that they had multiple hot sauce choices. Our coffees were always full, and the waitress made sure my English muffin was dry, as requested. That’s always a big win for me. Solid breakfast. Just what I needed.

I was hungry for home made American breakfast and after checking on Unilocal found the quintessential breakfast place here. I immediately notice the friendly atmosphere of this place and was seated in a booth near the counter. I ordered the corn beef with mushroom scramble eggs. This was one of the best breakfast meal ever. The corn beef was flavorful and scramble eggs was great! Highly recommended.

Great small restaurant. Nice kind waitress and very helpful, very accommodating. Had the eggs, sausage, bacon and pancakes. Pretty good buttermilk pancakes, they actually tasted like buttermilk. When I’m back in the area, I’ll be back

En route to Irvine we grabbed breakfast with my brother and his girlfriend. His GF’s parents recommended this place as this was the go to place. Knowing Morgan Hill as a very small town place, this basically was the hometown dine-in to be. We arrived around 10am and were seated immediately. Ambiance Parking Plaza parking and we found parking with ease however since we came here on New Year’s Day, there wasn’t any competing events that made this place full. Seating It’s a pretty small diner but this little diner can seat about a good 40 – 50 people. Feels Like your local, hometown diner this place has the vibes. With Food Homemade corned beef Because of this bite, I learned the difference between canned corned beef and homemade corn beef. The salty and meaty flavor of the beef was delicious mixed in with some eggs and potatoes complimented the meal pretty well. Customer Service: Communication was slightly difficult as it seemed like english was their second language for servers. Other than that our meals were served at a respectable pace and were appropriately followed up from time to time. Overall: 4 stars. Food, service, and experience was all good. Nothing extremely unique about this place so that’s why it doesn’t get the full 5 stars. I do appreciate that this place opened during new year’s though. Maybe I’ll make a tradition out of this as I annually visit and drive down south for winter break. Tips: The bathrooms are somewhat located outside of the diner.

Stopped by this spot on the way down from the Bay Area and was majorly impressed. The service was incredibly fast(2 minutes to get seated, managed to get in and out in 45 minutes) and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I really couldn’t ask for more from my pit-stop breakfast experience.

Hunnybunny, daughter, and I had breakfast at lunchtime. Chorizo Pile, chicken-fried steak, and pancakes with chocolate chips(match the dish to the diner if you can) all were wonderful. Sourdough toast was crispy, and the side of bacon just as it should be. The staff were all smiles & helpful. We’ll visit again.
