Cochrane Road Self Storage

I only needed my unit for a few months, but I felt really good about storing things at Cochrane. The place was clean and I knew my things were safe. Mark, in the office, was professional and easy to work with when I arranged to rent the unit and when I vacated it.
I live in South San Jose and it was really easy to get to this self-​storage on the north side of Morgan Hill. My unit was at least $ 30 less expensive per month than a comparable unit at most of the self-​storage facilities in South San Jose. It wasn’t any farther or longer to get to this storage facility from my home than to go to one in San Jose.
I highly recommend Cochrane Self-​Storage.

Had an excellent experience — needed a storage unit, and this one was very close to my home. I called, they reserved a unit for me over the phone, and I was in, filled out the form and out within a half hour. Extremely clean, individual alarms, knowledgeable staff (Mark was great!). Would definitely recommend.

They helped me out tremendously through what was a very trying time. Needed to get storage unit quickly and they were able to accommodate me and helped me select the right sized unit that I needed. Prices are very reasonable and the service was friendly and courteous. Facility is very clean and well layed out. There is enough space between the buildings that I was able to get a 40′ box truck into the facility.
I would highly recommend using this facility if you need storage space!

It is like comedy central there most of the time.

I looked at several storage places to store a large amount of household items for several months to a year. I was immediatly drawn to Cochrane as they had:
1) Reasonable prices for large units
2) Manager that is on-​site and lives on premises
3) Very good service by manager and assistant manager is discussing sizes, locations of units etc.
4) Nicely laid out storage place, immaculate inside and out, good security systems
I used a 50.00 coupon on-​line for my first month and thus far have been very happy for 6 mos of storage. My storage has expanded to 2 units that are 10×20÷10×28 that I hope to consolidate into 1 by the end of the month as we clean up/​remodel etc.
If you have to store stuff then I would highly recommend this facility. May sound funny but whenever I have to go to get stuff or put stuff into storage here — I am actually ok doing it as it is a nice place with happy staff and customers.

The facility itself is clean and well kept and the pricing was reasonable. During my initial contact with the manager she was friendly and nice. However when asked to make good on their referral check of $ 50.00 she had amnesia, lied and stated she mailed it, corporate office had to issue the check, the Morgan Hill Post Office regularly lost the mail… blah, blah. blah! In the end. thanks for the check you signed personally Gina aka Corporate Office.

I chose this storage place because it was close to my work and they had a $ 50.00 coupon online. When I went in to rent my unit, the guy behind the counter was very helpful. He took us to see the storage units so we could figure out what size we needed. I informed him that I would be there on sunday to store my stuff and he said it wouldn’t be a problem (which was nice because it was 2 days before the first of the month.) I rented the unit immediately and was on my way! Sunday came around and we spent all day loading the moving truck that we rented for the day, arrived at the facility, and to my horror the code i got did not work. We stayed there for about 30 minutes trying the code and waiting for anyone to show up! It looked like someone lived upstairs so we honked and yelled to no avail. It was hot, I was tired, and super frustrated. Not to mention is was the Memorial Day weekend so there was no way we were going to keep the rental truck for extra days until they opened again. We left and found another storage place. I should have checked to make sure the code worked when i rented the place but the guy behind the counter should have also reminded me to. When I went back on Tuesday to talk to them about getting my money back the woman behind the counter was apologetic and helpful. She gave me a full refund which i appreciated.

Cochrane Road Self Storage is a great business with excellent service. They are the best Storage facility in Morgan Hill. They offer a lot of units at reasonable prices. There place is clean and safe. There staff is very helpful. Please check them out!
