Highly recommend this Fair and honest business! My daughter is a student at WVU and was having handling issues with her Subaru. With being 3 ½ hrs away I called Shorty Anderson’s about looking at her car. They recommend a towing company and just had the tow bill added to the repairs. They kept me up to date on what the repair was going to be as well as the costs involved. They were very fair and honest on what needed repaired now as well as pointing out a few issues to keep an eye on in the future. As far as costs go they were very reasonable. I will continue to use them for any work her car needs over her next few years in Morgantown.

Shorty’s is honest, straight-​forward, and quick. Seriously the one mechanic that I’ll wholeheartedly trust every time. I appreciate that they’re quick to recommend another mechanic or service if they’re not the best one, and every one of their referrals has been perfect.
If you want to avoid the inconsistent, sketchy big brand mechanic shops around Morgantown, look no further than Shorty’s.
Only downside: long waiting times to get in don’t always fit in with the hectic lifestyle that most people lead. I’ve had to use other mechanics more often than not, as Shorty’s usually has a two or three week wait.

These people are one of the best Auto care guys I have met. I have stayed in many places including WI, NY, TX and CA and recently came to Morgantown on work. My car had problem with battery and fuse had gone away. They charged my battery, replaced the fuse and promptly me gave me instructions to get my car alarm fixed with the right directions. They charge fees very reasonably. They are knowledgeable and do the right work and come across as honest and sincere. I really appreciate their service. Thanks a lot.

WVU parents that have kids with cars on campus; you need to keep this number handy. The folks at Shorty Anderson’s are spectacular. HONEST! John was terrific and could have sold me something I did not need, but took care of me like I was family. This is the way a business should be run. If I did not live in Towson, Md, they would be my shop. Very impressed. Highly recommended!

Like someone said it is like taking your car to a trusted family member. Might have to wait a week for an appointment but worth it. If you are a longtime customer they will work you in for an emergency. If they can’t fix it or it is too big a job they will recommend someone in town that will not screw you either.

I have been to a lot of mechanics and this place is different– from the service of my vehicle to how my dog and I are treated. When I take my car to them, I feel as though I am taking my vehicle to an uncle or relative that I trust. These guys aren’t out to swindle me for my money. The employees are very friendly and welcoming. I’ve never felt rushed to get in and get out when I have questions or concerns regarding my vehicle or anything else for that matter.

fantastic! an honest repair shop that is NOT out to screw you over. 100% recommended by me. I have taken my 2002 silverado there several times. always good work at a fair price.
