I had been looking for a place locally to do a Men’s Brazilian and I was glad to find this service was available here. To begin with, the customer service at the front desk was excellent. The woman was pleasant and took the time to make sure I was comfortable while waiting for my service(I had arrived a little early.) She was an excellent example of customer service. I was a little nervous after meeting my technician, since she had done less than 20 brazilian waxes on men. But she was pleasant and I thought I would go ahead. Everyone has to get experience someplace, right? During the course of the treatment, she shared that she had just recently done a men’s brazilian on a friend, all in preparation for my appointment. That spoke volumes to me in terms of her integrity and her wish to do well by the customers. Despite the unpleasantness that is inherent in all Brazilian waxes, it was a very positive experience. Days later, it is still the best brazilian I have ever gotten, including professionals with far more experience in the Baltimore area. However, the biggest reason for me writing this review is the fact that, when I was looking to book my next appointment, the only day I was available before leaving for vacation was this technician’s day off. To my amazement, she volunteered to come in on her day off to keep the appointment with me since it was my only day before vacation. Of course she didn’t have to do this and I would have been back if she hadn’t offered. I also don’t think this will always be possible based on her schedule. But I am a definite customer, now, and can’t say enough good about my experience.

Was only in Morgantown for the day… They were able to accommodate me on short notice and even called someone in early so that I could have an 80 minute massage. Ashley was amazing!!! Great atmosphere. Definitely recommend :)

My friend and I went here for her birthday for manicures and pedicures. We sat down and they did our manicures first, which was weird since it’s the dead of winter and we were both wearing boots. My nails look like a 6 year old painted them and my friends nail polish was so thick it’s probably still not dry hours later. When it was time for pedicures my water was so hot I thought my skin was burning while my friends water was the temperature of tepid water. When they finished they acted like we were insane when we asked about our shoes and told us that we would be fine to walk to the car in the flip flops provided to us even though it was ten degrees outside.

For my birthday I was given a gift certificate for the Spa @ the Waterfront — I hadn’t been there, but my mother used to love it when it was under the previous management. I was really looking forward to a whole day at the spa and called to schedule an appointment for one of their packages for the following day, scheduling seemed easy enough, though the number of times I was put on hold seemed a bit much. She told me that I had a 24 hour window to reschedule or cancel or they would possibly charge my card for the full cost of the service. Totally get that. After thinking about it throughout that evening I decided I wanted to switch up my services, I didn’t want an hour long facial and I didn’t want some of the longer mani/pedi services, so I called as early as possible the day of my appointment, told her I had a full package scheduled for later that afternoon but wanted to see if there would be an issue with switching up some of the services. This is where it got interesting — I was told that I had only been booked for a facial, not the massage/facial/nail services that I had requested. I was put on hold several times, and I began to get frustrated. I offered to just reschedule for the following weekend, but I sort of felt badgered into coming that day — only the only time they had available was a few hours before my original appointment — this was a little inconvenient because now my morning/afternoon plans were pretty much shot. However, I accepted, and told her I would be there. When I arrived at the spa the girl at the front desk was very friendly, she took me back to a waiting room with some paperwork and offered me some water and told me my MT would be with me shortly. Then she came back and told me she was leaving for the day and asked if I could present my gift card so that she could check me out before she left because no one else would know what she was doing? So within like 15 minutes I felt a little hassled over paying for my services, I was a little annoyed at that, but I agreed. Then she told me I had a balance and she would leave it at the front desk for me when I left. Outside of the initial bad impression, my MT was pretty awesome, she was so sweet and worked on some trouble areas of mine. The facial was sort of mediocre, the girl sounded like she may have been sick so having her that close to my face made it a little hard to relax. Once I finished and dressed myself again I had no idea what I was supposed to do and there was no one around that wasn’t busy or on the phone, so I awkwardly stood at the front until the girl that was doing my nail services came to find me. Their manicure«bar» was really nice and the girl that took care of me was also really sweet. The pedicure was super relaxing and I even got a nice glass of wine and a warm neck wrap to finish off the afternoon. Considering I had already paid for my services, it took a REALLY long time to check out. I had to wait while girls stood around because the lady at the register was on the phone, this annoyed me a little. Especially since the girl that had been sitting at the desk seemingly looked annoyed with the fact that someone was standing at the desk waiting to be checked out — and she just walked away. Overall: the spa is clean and relaxing. Most of the staff was nice and I had a nice afternoon. Was it the best place I’ve ever been? No. Did I feel super relaxed and refreshed? Not really. Will I go back? Probably, because I now have a balance on a gift card, but once that is out, I’m not sure I would return.
