The green chile fries are awesome. Drinks menu is good though I’m a beer person. Not many options in chicken burgers.

Awesome burgers, a little pricy because it is a la carte, but still my favorite burgers. Try the Zinburger.

So I’m not sure what’s going on with all the negative reviews here but I like this place! Their food is awesome. The staff is amazing. The sit down area sometimes does have a bit of a wait but when that happens I just sit at the bar and eat there. They have many types of burgers, many types of different fries. Their Mac and cheese is good, as are the zucchini fries(absolutely recommend those). The staff is really great-every time I’ve been there I’ve dealt with very attentive and nice servers/bartenders and have had no complaints. The atmosphere here is what I like the best. There’s many tvs. Their outdoor space is really cute with fire pits for warmth during some cool spring days. The set up of the restaurant is really beautiful and unique. It’s a huge place. I recommend anyone who hasn’t been to try this place out!

Good food. However very flawed operations. My first visit, no exaggeration, took 42 minutes to recieve our food. The server was great and did his best to appease us… however no visit from a manager. A burger was taken off the bill… So I thought… Okay let’s give them a 2nd Chance. Went in a few days later to order takeout. The host told me to order from the bar. I went in, Sat down and waited for 7 minutes for someone to greet me. Even the manager kept passing me back and forth. So finally someone asks me if I needed anything. I ordered a burger for takeout. 16 minutes later, I asked one of the bartenders if she could check on my order. Her response to me was«I’m not allowed to leave the bar»… I walked out at that point… Bottom line. Good Food… If you can get it. Flawed operations…

I’ve been here three times and I’ve had difference experiences. This review really is supposed to be 3.5 stars but I’m feeling a bit generous today. The first time I came here with my family when they first opened. FOOD: burgers were great! A bit on the greasy side but very flavorful and the meat was amazing, fresh. I got the Samburger and I really liked the thousand island dressing on it. The mac n cheese was great with Panko crumbs. Dad got the Kobe burger and he was happy with it. Mom got the Plain and Simple & she thought it was dry. SERVICE: adequate but they were super busy due to being new so that’s understandable. Second time I went here with with friends. FOOD: Got the El Diablo Burger this time and holy cow was it spicy. My mouth was on fire and I’m usually pretty good with spicy food. Got the truffle fries and they were phenomenal. SERVICE: was okay, a bit of an improvement. Took us a long time to get drinks and food. My one friend asked for hot sauce and when it came out, she was almost done with her burger. Third time, I went with my brother and the burgers were NOTGOOD. I got the Breakfast Burger and I asked for medium rare and it came out medium well. No pink in the meat at all whatsoever. The meat smelled weird and my burger was so soggy from the grease, I couldn’t even finish it. It was quite disgusting. My burger fell apart immediately when I picked it up. However; the Banana Royale shake was great. It made up for the disgusting burger. SERVICE was terrible. Everything took so long. Waiter barely came by our table to check up on us. It even took a long time for us to get our card back after paying. We came around 1:30pm and it took us almost two hours to get out. Shouldn’t have taken us two hours for a quick lunch meal. We went on a week day and there were barely any customers.

This Zinburger is fairly new from what I’ve heard and I have only been here once before earlier in the year during a pretty intense snow storm. It was me and 3 others. I came back to Zinburger with the same three people this past Sunday around 7:30. We were seated in about 10 mins at a table inside.(outdoor seating was preferred with all the lava lamp type space heaters,) but it was gorgeous that day so outside was packed. We ordered an app of zucchini fries to come first before our burgers which came out after about 25 mins. This was acceptable because you could clearly see the place was mobbed. What I didn’t like though was that the fries were hardly even warm. This was a pretty gross start to our meal, and we picked here and there until our server finally returned to see if everything was ok. We weren’t about to tell him then that we didn’t like it and wanted something else because at this point I thought we would be here long past closing time. When we finally got our burgers we asked for hot sauce which came just as we had finished them. I mean I am not saying that the service was awful because I understand how packed Zinburger was, but I cannot justify the undercooked zucchini fries and the look on our servers face as he gave us the hot sauce with crumbs on our plates. I would have just never came.

Came on a Tuesday night for a dinner out with some friends. I had never been before, but I’ve been eying this spot up since Chevy’s packed it in. Overall, I was very impressed by the service, drinks, and food and will definitely be back! We arrived around 6PM, there was no wait which was great. The outdoor seating area was open, but the evening was overcast so we opted to sit inside. The beautiful outdoor patio looks like the perfect spot to grab a drink, so I’m hoping to sit out there next time. Parking in the restaurant lot is mildly sucky, you may have to park in the Barnes and Noble and hoof it over. But on the plus side, if there is a wait, B and N is a great place to kill some time. The décor was warm and inviting, think upscale farmhouse. Our server was friendly and fast, taking food and drink orders like a pro, keeping the water flowing, and checking in on our meal. My burger was delicious, seared nicely on the outside and cooked perfectly. The package came nicely wrapped up in a fluffy egg bread bun, which helped to soak up the extra burger juices. These burgers stand heads and tails over similar burger chains(Red Robin, Johnny Rocket’s, Ruby Tuesday etc). For sides we had the zucchini fries and the sweet potato fries. Both were very good and I would order them again. The sweet potato fries were hot and crispy with a light yogurt dipping sauce, while the zucchini fries were thicker cut and avoided becoming a soggy mess like many other fried zucchini sticks I’ve had in the past. Drinkwise, I had a caipiroska which was very refreshing. I don’t often see this drink on menus so I felt compelled to try it. It didn’t pack quite the alcoholic punch its supposed to, but then again I shouldn’t be getting my hopes up too high at a chain restaurant. I also had the Banana Royal milkshake which was really good. It has banana, peanuts, and dulce de leche. If you come, don’t skip out on the milkshake. They’re very much worth the calories and are only $ 6. My only quarrel is that the burgers are a la carte, so you have to order a side of fries on top of your burger. If they had included some kind of side, even coleslaw, the burger presentation would look much better. Right now the only side you get with your burger is 3 – 4 pickle chips.

What a great addition to Morris County. A gorgeous casual restaurant with terrific outdoor space as well. Burgers, burgers, burgers… and they are experts. There are a few salads to mix things up a bit too. Various sorts of fries, sweet potato, standard fries and zucchini fries. More shakes than you can shake a stick at. Service is terrific, every server we have had has been attentive and friendly. Wine and beer list is very nice as well. Whether you are with friends, family, kids or coworkers, Zinburger will work for you. Great happy hour deals too.

I like this place. My boyfriend and I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We had seen it a week or so ago while on a drive on Route 10 and figured we’d check it out. The sign outside boasts great burgers and wine. We feel that’s a fine combination, so we swung by. The first thing I noticed is that the place is HUGE. The staff(hostess, servers) are dressed in jeans, casual canvas shoes, and button down shirts. The ambiance is kinda farmy, rustic like, but urban, hipster/classy at the same time. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was absolutely delicious. Honestly, I had the best burger I ever had in my life. I had the Ringer burger made with Kobe beef, and my boyfriend had The Big Bad Blue made 1with Kobe beef. He loved his burger as well. The loaded fries, napa salad, and Nutter Butter Crunch shake were phenomenal as well. My one complaint is that the service was pretty slow. Our server apologized a few times, and was really nice, but we noticed that we weren’t the only table made to wait quite a while for our server to come take our order and then to bring our food. If they could improve on that I would totally give 5 stars for this place. We will be back.

It seems to be a pretty cool place from the outside. The people at the front were very nice when my friend and I walked in – very attentive and friendly. We liked the atmosphere and everything. However, we got a crappy waitress. She seemed as if she had the worst day ever. I wish I could remember her name but I can’t. My friend had a problem communicating with her when she asked her not to have some certain things in the dish she wanted to order. Also, when we finished our meal, I wanted to get the leftover to go and I asked for a box. She took my plate and i thought she would return with it in the box but no she threw my food away…(I hate wasting food)… About the food… it might be that I didn’t get the burger burger because I am being vegetarian for a month, so instead I got veggie burger. It felt blah to me. The patty wasn’t seasoned well enough and I should have asked for different kind of cheese instead of sticking with mozzarella cheese. I normally am a big fan of fries but it wasn’t a wow for me when I did like the onion rings. The milkshake was good, though. I definitely will return when I can have a beef patty just to check it out one more time but hopefully I won’t get the same crawly waitress.

Zinburger is a pretty cool place. I like the atmosphere its that mix of dress casual and actual causal. The food is pretty good. I’ve eaten here twice and they food was fantastic. The milkshakes are pretty baller. 6 bucks and its a decent size. The sides are a little pricey and burgers don’t come with a side. However you can split them with two people pretty easily. They have angus beef and something else that’s marketed at a more juicy beef. I would just get the angus, their burgers are not dry at all. To the point were idk if i would enjoy a burger that was juicer then the one i got at my last visit. I think it would be to messy. The service both times I have been here has been excellent. The waiter/waitress that served our table was on point and charming. I don’t think you could really ask more from a server. The only reason I took a star off was they don’t take reservations. I really don’t get this. Especially for bigger parties. I called earlier in the day for a late lunch and said i wanted to make a reservation for 8, they lady stated they don’t take them and that we could just come in. I asked her if i come in at the time I said will I get a table for 8 people. She stated that they did have table for 8 people which was not reassuring, having tables and having available tables is to totally different things. We got there and gave our name and I waited a good 25+ minutes for a a table because all the large tables were taken at a late lunch time,… Kind of annoying and I’m sure it’s worst for dinner, I’ve been here for dinner and its more crowed. I feel like it i had a group of 4 I would totally come here for a dinner, but if I had a larger group I would probably pass for a place that would actually take a reservation for a large group.

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to a sit down burger spot and Zinburger did not disappoint. From what my friends say, get here early! Anytime past 5PM and the place gets packed! We arrived a little before 5PM and was sat immediately. When I got up to use the restroom about 10 minutes later, there was a line out the door already. Wow. The place seemed like a huge upgrade from the Chevy’s that used to be here. There’s a dining area and also a bar area with a lot of flat screen TV’s. There are a lot of different kinds of tables to accommodate different parties too! I noticed there were two private rooms available in the back. Something you do not see often in a restaurant that specializes in burgers. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, gf got the KOBE burger, friends got the turkey burger and breakfast burger with fries. Our server was courteous and filled our waters very quickly. The –1 star was for the very very long wait for our food. We definitely placed our order before the big rush came in, but waited 20 – 30 minutes for everything to get to the table. However, when everything arrived, it was to our specifications. For the price we paid, the burgers were on point, however, Zinburger is not a spot I would regularly visit, personally, it’s a little steep for a burger meal.

Went to Zinburger on a Tuesday before the happy hour promotion. The place looks very cool and fresh, the colors, wall designs, and bar installation are so innovative. So the first sight was a plus for sure. The burger I had was the Blanco Burger, with French fries on the side. It was so good! I switched the Pepper Jack cheese for Swiss and I think it give it a great taste since I don’t like spicy things. The waiter was neat, polite and courteous. The whole experience was really good. Good music, a lot of light, and a bunch of TVs all playing different channels. I’m giving them 4 stars because our order for a party of 3 took so long, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. I’ll definitely come back, the food has quality and that’s important.

Great atmosphere– stopped in when it had just reached 80 out for the first time all season and they had all the doors open allowing for ample fresh air and optional outdoor seating. Fun vibe. Ordered truffles fries & onion rings. Both came out more soggy than crispy. Rings reminded me of Burger King. Each being priced at $ 6 I think they were over priced. I ordered a rage portion of the farm salad which was very good and for only 9.25 was beyond reasonable. My friend made a custom burger which looked alright, came out on the plate with a few pickle chips. Not sure if it would have been appetizing to me. If I’m in the area I’ll probably be back, but wouldn’t drive out of the way for a salad etc. Staff was beyond friendly which is always a nice touch.

This is my crews new happy hour spot. Forget traffic and parking in Morristown. This place is on point. I work in Parsippany so I use to go to Morristown all the time. Eventually Mo Town got old for me and this place opened up. It is way more convenient and the food is never disappointing. To date I have consumed: The El Diablo burger, created my own craft burger, parm truffle fries and sweet potato fries. All were delicious! I created my own burger the second time because I realized all of the possible ingredients you could actually use to create your own burger. There is a huge list and all of the ingredients sound so good. Zinburger also specializes in milk shakes and other types of fries which I have heard are great. My friend got the ahi tuna salad as a healthier option and she said it was surprisingly delicious. The wines! Let me start by telling you that I am not a big wine person. Wine is typically the last thing I would choose. Zinburger has officially broadened my knowledge and liking of wines. The zen of zin is perfect.(I will not go into detail about how the wine tasted since I am not a wine expert). but it was great. Go on Wednesday when you get a full bottle of wine for half off. If you don’t finish it YOUCANTAKEITHOME! They cork it and give you a bag so you can put it in your trunk. I have also had the bacon bloody which was decadently yummy. One of the best bloodies I have ever had. And you get a piece of bacon to naw on. Definitely come early as they do not take reservations. If you do you will be so happy. There is a nice bar area if you have a larger group. I would not bring more than 10 people here as a group becuase it gets way packed.

A confession, most of my pants are Levi’s, either Jeans or Dockers. My musical preferences although varied, typically exclude house, club and dance music. Both my car and motorcycle have plain factory exhaust and neither has been lowered or has extra wide tires. I preface this review with all of this as a way to demonstrate to you that, by any definition, I am not Cool, Hip or Happening. Zinburger clearly is. This is a place where you come when having a good burger in a good restaurant isn’t enough for you. You come here when you want to be seen having a good burger. The whole vibe of the place is «it’s happening right here, right now!» Don’t get me wrong this is not a bad thing. It’s just that for a middle aged guy like me, when I see all the staff in the skinny and slim fit jeans and red sneakers, I somehow feel under-dressed. The service is pretty hard to beat. Our server, Oscar I think, was«Johnny» on the spot. Drink’s came fast and were refreshed before the glass was empty. Gave us time to review the menu and always seemed to be right there when we needed him. I ordered the Samburger with Kobe beef and he sweet potato fries. The burger was on point. Requested medium and got just that. The bacon was crisp and not chewy like reheated deli bacon so that when you bite into he sandwich the bacon just broke off. Don’t you hate when one bite pulls the whole strip of bacon off the burger? Well it doesn’t seem to happen here. The sweet potato fries were very well done, nice and crispy. The yogurt sauce is a big miss for me, it really doesn’t add anything to the fries, but they are good enough on their own. I only have two nits to pick. The first is pretty typical. They only have one hard cider on the menu. So makes it hard to mix it up if this is going to be a regular haunt. The second was the fact that I found a mushroom on my mushroom free burger. I despise mushrooms, but it seems that a single piece got misplaced somehow. I found it quite readily and after careful inspection, found no more hidden within the burger, so the panic level was reduced and I was able to enjoy the remainder of the meal. So with all of this why only three stars? It funny, this is one of a few places I have been in where I felt out of place. All you hip and happening people should add Zinburger of you places to try. And if you can tolerate being seen with someone in dockers pants, comfortable shoes and a sweater that’s not worn over a collard shirt, invite me I’ll come along as long as I can still get home in time to watch Matlock…

Very nice place. First time visitor. Inside it is like a huge sports bar. The seating is very spacious where ever they seat you. There is plenty staff that your not waiting long. Surprisingly even at 2p they were very crowded. Had the loaded fries. Very good tasting. And enough to share worth another. The flavor of everything in them were tasty. I had the Kobe burger. And hats off to the cook. First burger I’ve ever eaten without ketchup. Really while waiting on waitress to bring ketchup. Ib wanted to taste the burger and after that taste. Juicy and tasty. I went through that burger and never thought about ketchup after the first bite. Big, juicy, tasty, med well as I asked. I will definitely be returning to this place.

For the love of god the Kobe burger was amazeball’s! As I was heading to my hotel earlier this week, my driver told me Zinburger was amazing… I thought ok. The last 3 nights has been very mediocre at the best, so I thought a burger was«safe». To my surprise this place was hoppin, the wait was 30 mins at 6:25. The restaurant is big, open, clean, and bright. It is definitely family friendly. There are TV’s and there is WINE! Who knew Wednesday nights the bottles are half off. As a side note you can take home your left overs too!(I never have left overs LOL!) they also have cocktails and beer. Ok the burgers are fun and in many flavors. I am a traditionalist so I had the Kobe cheeseburger which honestly melts in your mouth. Straight up, it has to be one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! They have a bunch of delicious sides, I was all in and ordered the loaded fries… Yum just yum! My friend ordered the banana crème pie which was also delicious! It’s not cheap, my burger was $ 15.95 which is expensive, but I would get it again! Our bill for 3 was $ 99 bucks which included a bottle of half price wine. FYI… The parking is a pain! We parked in the Barnes and Noble lot and walked in the rain :((

Yay! I live right by Zinburger and for months, I saw the construction in progress and was basically tapping my foot, waiting for it to open. When it finally did open, we had to give them a minute to cool off, as it seemed everyone and their entire extended families were waiting in line to dine there at dinner. We finally made it over recently and had about a thirty minute wait. There’s an app you can download to track where on the list your name is so you can somewhat gauge your wait time. And, in the meantime, you can always walk over to B&N to browse some books to kill time. We were seated at a crappy table near the entrance, which was annoying, but we were so hungry, we couldn’t wait for a better table. I ordered the ‘El Diablo,’ my sister got the ‘Blanco,’ and my dad got the ‘Ringer.’ I got mine ‘kobe style’ but honestly, it was kind of a waste, as I could not tell the difference between the kobe and the angus, especially with all of the toppings. Every burger delicious, though mine was a bit overcooked(I wanted medium and it was closer to well done). We also had an order of the double truffle fries, which were good but not as truffly as I’d hoped, and the green chili fries, which were awesome and messy. On our second visit, my sister and I split the ‘Ringer’ and a kale Caesar. The waitress was kind enough to have the cooks but the burger and split the salad onto two plates for us. So, if you’re sharing, that’s something worth mentioning, as the staff will be super accommodating. The staff are really friendly and the service is quick. I highly recommend a visit, at least once, though if the wait is long, I’d say just come back on a quieter night.
