AAMCO is celebrating its 50th year of providing the highest level of transmission and car care maintenance and repair services. Our Morristown location is under new ownership, having opened for business in January of 2012. With a new perspective on how customers should be treated and a new technical team, AAMCO of Morristown is in a unique position, leveragingthis perspective along with the deep knowledge and expereince of the AAMCO history.

I am new to the car care business. My career has been spent in customer service and marketing roles in various large companies. My expereince influences how I will treat my customers at AAMCO of Morristown.

Few people anticipate and plan for major car repairs, our goal is to work with each of our customers individually to minimize the impact of repairs you. We have a comfortable customer reception area, can provide a shuttle service so you don’t waste valuable time while your car is being repaired offer a variety of financing options and warrenty programs.

Our customers are why we are here, we aren’t entitled to your business, we want to earn it.

The service at this AAMCO Transmission shop was the BEST REPAIR SERVICE I have ever received. The ACTUAL JEEP DEALERSHIP in Paramus does not even deliver anywhere near the quality of repair service I received here and THEY ARE THE JEEP BRAND! I drove my Jeep from New York City to this AAMCO station because of the great reviews I have read on Unilocal and I am glad I took the drive; IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! At the time I found this AAMCO station I was ready to get rid of my Jeep because of the TERRIBLE SERVICE I had been receiving at the JEEP DEALERSHIP IN PARAMUS; they would never get a repair correct and I would have to take my Jeep back 2 – 4 times for the same repair before they would get it right. From the moment I stepped in this AAMCO station until my car was completed over the next two days, the owner Vince explained everything to me, stayed in contact with me, and gave me constant updates if anything changed. The quote he gave me in the beginning was the SAME price I paid at the end. He knew I drove from NYC and he was very appreciative of that fact. This experience is very rare when it comes to repair shops. I would recommend this AAMCO repair shop to anyone even if you have to drive from NYC; it is worth it. Thank you Vince and the entire AAMCO team there; my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee is driving like new again and the repairs you completed actually were the repairs that were necessary. IT ALSO TOOK JUST ONE VISIT TO YOUR SHOP TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE! THANK YOU!

Another great visit with Vince and his team!!! Always pleasant, effective and accommodating. I forgot to ask him to look at certain things while he was doing to oil change. When I called to let him know, he had the car done AND read my mind about what I wanted him to look at and provided me with the feedback and his suggestions.

This place is great! I needed a last minute weekend brake repair before a trip, checked the reviews and called Aamco and am so happy I did! The owner is the nicest guy and was able to fit me in the schedule and repair my brakes the same day. This place is awesome!

I’m so glad I did my research because this place is a gem. I had coffee and WiFi while my car received a quick and cheap oil change with a multi-​point inspection for my Honda Accord ($ 25 plus tax). I didn’t even need an appointment and I came in on a Saturday morning.
Also, drop-​off is in front of the store, not inside the garage.

I take a lot of effort into making decisions. I check for reviews, I look up references and then I proceed with the decision. And boy am I glad people on Unilocal gave this place such a good rating.
It’s my first car and it’s a used 2007 Prius. It needed an oil change badly, but I didn’t just want to get my oil changed, I wanted to find MY mechanic, you know what I mean? Well, Vince at AAMCO is a swell guy. He told me to bring my car in at 9 am and after a few rescheduling events, I did manage to bring my car in to the garage.
He is a no nonsense kind of guy and charged me a pretty good rate. The one downside was that the car didn’t get out of the shop on time. I dropped it off at 9:40, went to pick it up at 10:40 and had to wait till 11:30 to get the keys back. But I didn’t mind– he has a clean wait area with wifi and coffee. I got some work done while waiting.
I’m definitely bringing in my car again because I like Vince’s attitude and I think he’s a goodfella.

AAMCO has been great. I’ve taken my car in a number of times and each time they have been super fair. Vince is the owner and the guy I’ve always interacted with when I’ve gone. He tells you what is wrong and what it will take to fix it and what he recommends doing. He is professional and helpful. The service is quick and robust. Seriously, I really like this place!

I’ve been coming to this AAMCO for at least 2 years at this point (ever since I started working in the area) and they have treated me with top customer service. Although some of the work may be a little pricier than what other companies advertise, this AAMCO provides trustworthy work. Almost all my oil changes have been done here, and I have gotten both sets of brake pads changed here.
One good example is when my front brake pads needed changing because they were making grinding noises at 9PM at night. I called AAMCO and they called me back because their messages go to their cell phones. They told me I could drop the car off in front of the store and drop my keys in the mail slot so that they could work on it first thing in the morning instead of making me wake up super early to drop the car off.
Vince always provides great service and keeps his customers in mind. He will always squeeze you in if you are running short on time and need something done right away.

The transmission failed in my 1994 Honda Accord. I called here for a quote and found it to be slightly lower than majority of places I had checked. It was a big job ($ 2848 + tax) and the car was parked elsewhere so, to expedite things, Tom the manager arranged complimentary towing of my immobile vehicle to the shop, which was a nice convenience. I drove over in another car and found a corner shop with a small, bright waiting area for customers, with magazines, a clean restroom, and Keurig coffeemaker.
The owner seemed knowledgeable and showed me some disassembled trannys, explaining how they operated and giving me more details about the repair process. I paid a $ 1k deposit and went home, feeling confident that my car would be in good hands. This was on a Wednesday (Oct 22, 2014) and Tom called me back that Friday afternoon to let me know my car was ready.
As part of the service, they ask you to bring your car back 8 – 10 days later for a free inspection of the repair. Everything felt fine with my car but I returned it there anyway for the inspection, which took about 15 minutes. I received a coupon for a free oil change and 10% discount off a future repair. My car is running smoothly and I was very pleased with the service, so I will go back to this AAMCO again in the future.

I was visiting in Morristown for the weekend, came to this service center after reading a great review on Unilocal.This guy is amazing. Checked out my car, gave me advice to take to my mechanic in Philly. Topped off the oil level, got me on my way. Definitely recommended him to my daughter and son in law who live in the town. A great find!
