History

Established in 2007.

Monk’s Painting started by Ty Monk as a very small painting company back in 2007. Painting schedules are often times dictated by carpenters, since they need to complete their work before the painting can begin. This led Monk’s to hire carpenters, allowing us to handle both parts of the job and gaining better control over our schedules. Our clients loved it because their projects were completed faster and they only needed to work with one company. As we have grown, we have brought on other craftsmen who specialize in areas like flooring, tile, and remodeling. We are now a full-​service home improvements and remodeling company offering services from Design through to installation.

Business Owner

Ty Monk started Monk’s Painting in 2007 and grew it into the full-​service home improvements company it is today. Ty grew up in the painting and construction business and has applied his experience to build and grow his company. Monk’s Home Improvements is a family business. Ty’s brother, Trevor Monk, his wife, Viviane, and his nephew, John, all actively involved in the day-​to-​day.
