P & P Taxi & Limousine Service

Unfortunately, I have to agree with Nancy and others here. I was told the price/​charged after the car was moving, $ 15 for an intra-​Morristown ride; no more than 2 miles. I picked up the ride from the train station there on the spot and went home. I used Über that morning to get to the train station at rush hour, and Über was less than HALF the cost. I have nothing bad to say about the ride, the people, etc. as they were all just fine and pleasant to me, but to pay more than double doesn’t leave me much option next time.

I work in morristown so there have been a few times when I needed a taxi and only when no other company is available do I ever use p&p. They over charge a rediculous amount and most drivers are pretty rude, but I had mostly come to terms with that. What I cannot get over is how they baited my friend who set up the taxi pick up for me tonight– 2 hours earlier, the ride would cost me 35 $ but once I was actually in the car it went up to 50 $ my driver even called dispatch and the woman denied ever speaking to my friend or quoting 35 $. They knew they had me because every other company was busy, so I forked over the cash. Unfortunately all I can do it attempt to warn others: avoid this company like the plague ! It’s worth the wait to not get robbed by these straight up bad people.

Unlike Maura L., my dispatcher and driver were both pleasant and the town car arrived in a timely manner. What I found disturbing was the price: $ 15 for a two mile ride within Morristown seems excessive.
