I come here all the time. They always miss things here and there i dont complain. Today i got the gold wash. The triple foam didnt work and the wheel cleaner didnt spray i asked the managee and he said it worked i told him to go and look at it while its washing he said u can just run it through again. But if it doesnt actually work whats the point. Manager is rude and just walked out. Im done with this place.
I just dont understand why these people cant vacuum the damn car good theres spots inder the mats they didnt do also the dash was not wiped down i still c spots from before

Took my car here for a much needed clean up and they did a great job. They had alot of price breakdowns, and I was able to get something mid priced and still have a sparkling clean car. Will come back for sure.

Very bad service. «Overseer» does not assist workers and very rude. Not a thorough wash at all. When I advised manager Ed Adomaitis the issue he quickly brushed me off and dismissed me. Was not interested in fixing issue that could have been resolved with a wet rag. Avoid this car wash at all costs. Especially minorities. Very bad service. Very slow. Value is terrible. Better quality at a gas station. My company lawyer advised me to write my experience to better business bureau which I intend to do today. Future customers may want to take that route if you have a similar experience as mine and others.

We have been coming here for years and went on 2÷18÷16 got the Platinum paid $ 22 so that we could get the extra cleaning etc, and was so not worth it. The inside of car was still dirty! Carpets not vacuum well, looked like they barley ran the vacuum through the car. They for sure never moved, lifted or removed the carpets to thoroughly vacuum. Area’s on the outside of car that looked like they did not wipe. Then when we asked about the vacuuming the guy said he didn’t get paid to vacuum. I wish I had taken pictures, but was so upset about it and couldn’t handle the way the car looked that I cleaned & vacuumed again myself, and forgot to take pictures. I am skeptical to go back there again after this time.

This had to be by far the worst car wash experience I’ve had in years. I understand when getting your car washed by other people, things may be skipped by accident. But after realizing several places not even touched, I had to complain. I spoke to the manager about a poor vacuum job and leafs still left under my wiper blades and he says I need to pay extra for that. I asked for a full refund, he says «but why? We washed your car.» No you didn’t. More like rinsed and wiped down quickly. Keep in mind, I go to a full hand car wash (not machines) Skokie, Lucky’s, and for the same price, they do a fantastic job. The management at Platinum Car Wash is terrible. No customer service skills at all. I’ve actually read other people’s reviews about the management and they are the same complaints as mine. Why is this guy still working here?! I will never return and believe me, I’ll bad mouth the crap out of this place until corporate resolved this HUGE issue.

I really believed in this car wash. Like a parent believes in their child. That’s not to say that I birthed this place or that I even know the «parents.» What I mean is that everyone (and by everyone, I mean my brother) raved about this place. How thorough the staff was and the affordable prices. So naturally, an expectation develops.
PROS:
* Cheaper than the other place I go to, offering the same service.
* They have WATER GUNS you can shoot at your car as it comes down the conveyor (what??? Yea, I know)
* friendly cashier
* indoor and outdoor waiting areas
CONS:
* THE INSIDE OF MY CAR IS STILL DIRTY!!! (See photos)
‘Nuff said. One of the stars is for the water guns, the other is because I have to give a minimum of a star.

This is still the best car wash around. Exterior and interior always cleaned thoroughly and towel dried with care. They don’t leave any wet areas under the hatch door, they open everything and towel dry the surfaces. I only wish they could find a way to accept cars with ski racks on top — I hate having to find a substitute in the winter when my racks are on. Plus their prices are reasonable and it’s evident that management cares about providing quality service on a consistent basis.

This review is not in regards to the men who wash your car, and do all the leg work. This is mainly targeted at management. I don’t think I have ever met a man with a nastier attitude. I think he forgets he works in customer service, and that he should maybe try talking to people rather than making noises to insinuate he’s «listening.»

Crappy wash, missing items and mats were not put in properly. Mat covered gas pedal. Could have caused an accident. Ed, the manager, said I had to talk to Coperate about a refund because there were no refunds. I. Will. Never. Return.

This place charges extra for everything. Showed the manager missed spots from the car. He said, they do not do extra cleaning. I needed to pay an extra 3 $ to get a better vacuum job. Platinum car wash for 20 bucks is a joke. This place definitely does not offer platinum service

Not Worth The Money. I bought there most expensive wash and it doesn’t even include having your floor mats.done. that is an ectra charge like everythong else there. My car looked like it hadn’t even been vacuumed. Interior was still dirty. Definitely not worth the $ 21.99.

Too expensive for «automatic» car wash. Regarding cleaning of the interior, vacuum is included and they wipe inside but it is not clean at all.

I’ve been visiting this place few times and each time don’t know if I can receive good or poor service. Yesterday had a full service with extra vacuum, extra interior dusting and all four floor mats washed. For $ 9.99 I expect more then from a $ 3.50 car wash which in this case is a better deal. The soap is barely applied; it seems like the soap dish is almost empty and needs to be refilled. Some of the workers don’t give a damn about this job so it shows through the job performance. I didn’t get that extra vacuum I paid $ 3.00 for. Only after a complaint I got what I wanted. Extra interior dusting was too extra work for «one of the best guys» in this shop, according to Earl — the place manager who has less then average customer service skills. I can definitely do much better job myself and save me $ 25.00 for a gift card to have a delicious cup of coffee instead.

My family and I have been going here for years and the service had declined. Wash is okay, but service was so slow. Went today after work and the guy in the booth talked to the car infront of me for 5 min. If he had questions fine, but notice there is a line and help others! Do you think people who just got off work want to wait around for no reason? The man who dried my car just stopped in the middle and talked to the manager. The interior has been under construction for years. Gone downhill.

For some reason, I’m always nervous to get a car wash because each place has a different process, so I’ve outlined it below. I got the basic wash ($ 9.99) and was pleasantly surprised by all that I got! When you drive around back, they give you a ticket for the wash you select. You drive up to the vacuum station and get put of the car. While you wait inside, they vacuum the interior and then wash the exterior of the car (automated). The cashier is at the end of the hallway and gives you a receipt for yourself and one for the guys who finish up the car outside. They not only dry the car, but also clean the windows inside and wipe down interior surfaces and the door wells. The whole process probably took 5 minutes. Great value for $ 10!

i have been going to this place for a couple of years now. The value is GREAT! Plus all the guys doing the washing are friendly and professional.
However, I was quite disappointed the last time I came in. Perhaps it was because I came on a weekend, which I try and avoid usually… but, when I pulled up there wasn’t a line however, when I asked for extra vacuuming they said it would be a 30 min wait and he was kinda talking me out of it. So I asked if the reg wash came with vac and he said yes. After getting my car, I realized that the regular package either didn’t come with a vac job like he said it did or they did a really bad job. I didn’t complain but went straight to a gas station to do the vacuuming myself.
Not sure if I will come back, especially on a weekend!
